Alan, whoever you are, wherever you are, I love you (but not in that way, in the LEGO way)! When I first saw this set I thought Ewoks :( , and then over-priced, but now I've just ordered for delivery instore on Friday!

Posted by collectormom in United States, 04 Aug 2010 11:27

If only this was in the US!

Posted by Super Robot Wars in Ireland, 04 Aug 2010 11:29

I wished I lived in the UK because tesco direct don't ship to Ireland : ( but I don't mind that much because I've just got it for my birthday which was a couple of days ago.

Why don't we get 50% off of the best SW sets?

Posted by Markey in Belgium, 04 Aug 2010 11:50

They're having 50% off some other lego items as well, but most are out of stock.

Posted by avacadoturban in United Kingdom, 04 Aug 2010 11:53

Loving the Lego! Good times. So, how long do you reckon' before Tesco sell-out of these sets? I'd give it just under a week, bearing in mind its the school holidays, and Christmas adverts are starting to pop-up on TV.

Posted by legocity1 in United Kingdom, 04 Aug 2010 11:56

great offer. but im not into lego star wars :(

Posted by Formentar in Sweden, 04 Aug 2010 13:17

Thank you indeed! A shame about the other things being out of stock (I would've loved to get some more track and switches), but at least I got a flock of Millennium Falcons.

Posted by the_isolator in United Kingdom, 04 Aug 2010 14:01

Out of stock already, why oh why did I not check out this site earlier. I'm gutted, been wanting this set for a while, but thought the price was a little steep. Just my luck...

Posted by Huw in United Kingdom, 04 Aug 2010 14:53

That's the 'Brickset effect' - mention it here then see it go out of stock a couple of hours later!

Posted by avacadoturban in United Kingdom, 04 Aug 2010 15:32

Wow! Clearly I under-estimated the power of the force ... I mean brickset ; ) Let's hope Tesco fulfil the orders they have.

Posted by Sam19 in United States, 04 Aug 2010 15:35

Man its in Euros

Posted by Woodland Observer in United Kingdom, 04 Aug 2010 15:53

I didn't want this set, but what a fantastic price! I'd love to see a similar discount on the Troll's Mountain Fortress.

Posted by polarbomber in United Kingdom, 04 Aug 2010 16:58

Cool 450 tesco points aswell . ha ha

Posted by Andrew85 in United Kingdom, 04 Aug 2010 17:23

@ Meatbingo, amazon have a nice discount on the troll mountain fortress, around 20 G.B.P off, also some of the last wave of castle sets have a discount, drawbridge defense @ 21 G.B.P. I got 2 of the battle of endor sets at around 5pm, must have been pretty much the last ones.

Posted by Pobwall in United Kingdom, 04 Aug 2010 18:06

Out of stock now, grr. Can't believe I've not checked Brickset for a few hours and this happens

Posted by robodee in United Kingdom, 05 Aug 2010 04:05

ARGH! Out of stock! I'm a new member here so was very pleased to see this deal. Then crushed as you all bought them up! :)

Posted by legomatt in United Kingdom, 05 Aug 2010 10:32

I managed to snag myself one, but already feeling pangs of guilt as I have the set already and was trying to save up for Slave-1... (I just couldn't resist, it was a massive saving)... however, now that i have my senses back, if anyone missed out and doesn't want to part with £85, i'm thinking of trading it away for something I don't have. Anyone interested in a trade just send me a message via my profile. By the way, there's still some Power Miners at 50% and the midi-falcon... unfortunately i didn't manage to get the Power Miners Platform (it sold out just as i processed my basket - close or what?) :os

I discovered this offer via moneysavingsexpert.com. Thanks to Martin Lewis weekly email I picked up these half price!:

Lego Star Wars The Battle of Endor
Lego Power Miners Crystal Sweeper
Lego Star Wars Millennium Falcon midi
Lego Power Miners Crystal King

I'm well made up!!!!!

Great tip off, I was watching this set the previous day, as it had been reduced to £63.74, but still managed to miss the the great price of £37.48........Oh well you never know it might come back in stock, just need to stop checking every 5 minutes :- ) its doing my head in!!

Posted by matt666 in United Kingdom, 06 Aug 2010 01:29

gamesgem, I have just recieved an e-mail from Tesco and I am afraid it is not coming back into stock, so you can stop checking! I missed it aswell..

Posted by Andrew85 in United Kingdom, 06 Aug 2010 06:48

Tesco called me this morning to say the item would not be available for collect in-store or home delivery as it has been discontinued. They have refunded my money (Gutter!), thought I had snagged a bargain, he said the website is updated at 11am everyday so at 5pm when I ordered it the website was probably tellin' porkies.

Posted by ry66 in United Kingdom, 06 Aug 2010 09:45

"It's out of stock!!!" he says angrily

Posted by DrathMaul1997 in United Kingdom, 06 Aug 2010 12:36

Posted by avacadoturban in United Kingdom, 06 Aug 2010 12:38

Just picked it up this afternoon from my local Tesco Extra ; ) So happy!!!!!!

Posted by robodee in United Kingdom, 06 Aug 2010 15:47

"sorry, this product has been discontinued" NOOOOOoooooooooooo!

Posted by scmagic72 in United Kingdom, 07 Aug 2010 18:13

snagged one of these myself - but when I collected it from the store the box was mashed up.... so they gave it to me for only £25... :-D

Posted by scmagic72 in United Kingdom, 07 Aug 2010 18:14

Lego Power Miners Crystal Sweeper seems to be the only one remaining now for £19.78, might get it just for the many strange parts

Posted by jonbuddy in United States, 07 Aug 2010 21:09

Didn't think much of it at first, but then I realized, "Hey, I want that set and what a great deal!". But, two questions,
1) Is it still in stock?
2) Where's the Tesco District?

Posted by bluemoose in United Kingdom, 08 Aug 2010 03:47

Tesco is the name of the UK's largest chain of supermarkets. Tesco Direct is the name of their website. AFAIK they don't have any stores in the US & don't ship there either. And, no, there hasn't been any stock left of the Endor set for several days.

Posted by ensign_dave in United Kingdom, 08 Aug 2010 04:37

The Power Miners Crystal Sweeper is half price and currently has ltd stock left:
