30012 looks horrible

Posted by ncbarrett in United States, 02 Sep 2010 14:31

actually i think 30012 looks cool. they all look nice for impulse sets.

No doubt these will be in the october/november daily mirror offer in time for Crimbo!

Posted by Jarod98 in United Kingdom, 02 Sep 2010 14:41

@ncbarrett - I agree, set 30012 is nice, but set 30011 is my favorite.

Set 30013 is my least favorite but hey, it's only a promotional set that isn't even released in the US. I'm glad they released the instruction booklets for the Imperial Shuttle, I may take a look at them and try to build a replica.

The first and third sets look decent. 30012 is unrealistic. Still, those two decent sets look pretty good actually!

Posted by starfire2 in United States, 02 Sep 2010 14:43

Are you sure these won't be released in the US? I can totally see these at Target in their Halloween section.

Posted by Jarod98 in United Kingdom, 02 Sep 2010 14:52

@starfire2 - I guess Target might have them, is that where Target puts all of their mini Lego sets?

Posted by ncbarrett in United States, 02 Sep 2010 14:55

@jarod98 - Target puts out small sets for easter, halloween and xmas.
I'm hoping for the kingdoms ones show up soon.

I don't care for the model, but 30012 looks like it has some good parts :-)

Posted by starfire2 in United States, 02 Sep 2010 15:14

@Jarod98 yes it is and at their front check lanes with the candy and impulse items.

Is it just me, or 30013's minifig has a new torso? Never seen it before...

Posted by brickmatt in United States, 02 Sep 2010 15:40

^ If I remember correctly, it's the torso used for motorcycle cops and others like the boat driver in the last police impulse set. I also agree that these will probably show up at Target in the Halloween section - they've had mini polybag sets like this before at Halloween, Christmas and Easter as mentioned above.

Posted by starfire2 in United States, 02 Sep 2010 15:45

I still would like to see the poly bags of Lego Toy Story (woody's camp fire and buzz's ship) show up there or TRU as well.

Posted by legocity1 in United Kingdom, 02 Sep 2010 16:03

These look really great, I wasn't really expecting any Police this year.

30012 is alright. It's a throwback to those small ultra-light flyers released in the 80s and 90s.

Posted by vamproe in United States, 03 Sep 2010 11:09

easter target did the dr and fire polybags
they also usually have one or two star wars mini bagged sets

Who ever runs into the promotional sets...? I'm in Canada, so I guess it's no surprise to say I'm not getting any. I always wish I could've got a promotional airlines bag (available usually through either Lufthansa or British Airways). I've never even gone to the mother country, let alone gone on one of her gaint British Airways planes.

30012 microlight is prety cool i just think it doesnt fit in with the city ? but amzing

Posted by ceroknight in Canada, 05 Sep 2010 01:56

@ypres: actually i have seen a few of these promo sets including the TS Alien Ship, Christmas tree etc at TRU
Thanks for the instructions, the imperial shuttle looks complex because of the lack of colours and the repetition with the wings....when will the harry potter instructions be posted, do you think?

Posted by ThisIsMyCup in United States, 05 Sep 2010 16:55

went to target, it looks like their halloween sets are gonna be the atlantis minidiver and world racers kart.
