Just got back from the show. I built the 26th 32x32 stud section of the mosaic.
I would have said hi to you Huw but you looked a bit busy at the time!

Thanks for the live feed link. It all looks really cool. It seems to be repeating the same thing over and over again at the present though.

Hi all, how is the drag racing competition going? I have mine ready for tomorrow : )

I was lucky to be in the UK this week and had the pleasure to meet Huw, Bluemoose, DrSinister, Ralph, Ed, Christian and so many other great builders from the Brickish Association. Had also the pleasure to see again Manuella and Thomas from 1000steine and Jan Bayer and his wife from the LEGO Community Team.
The MOCs are awesome. There are lots of things to spend hours seeing and chatting about with their creators. If you can, go tomorrow to the show. You won't be disappointed.

Greetings from LUG Brasil!

Ildefonso.

Is everythink going to plan?? I tryed watching the live feed but it does not work on my pc. Plus how can i comment on something in 2007?? Go to the archive and find a post with 0 comments.....

Docter Leg O'brick- i had the same question, and i think the answer is that once the article leaves and goes into the archive the commenting is blocked.

Posted by Huw in United Kingdom, 04 Oct 2010 09:14

@turkey, yes, that's the way it works. We can't keep an eye on comments on ancient articles easily so you can't make them.

@Huw, well, er, if you find a post with 0 comments you can comment. Like yesterday i commented on you reporting that we should keep comments on topic and that Brickset is not a forum in July 2007!! Hay, heres a link: http://www.brickset.com/news/article/?ID=15

For these older posts, if someone posts a comment, it then locks automatically. One of the staff can delete the comment, refresh the screen & it's unlocked again. It's what is called, in the software industry, an "unintended feature" ;-)

I think I've locked them all down now & deleted all the spam.

Sorry bluemoose and Huw, im not that aware of software jargon.

Posted by bluemoose in United Kingdom, 04 Oct 2010 12:42

It was a joke; most people would call it a 'bug' :-)

Posted by itsaturkey in United States, 05 Oct 2010 13:12

LOL! i just read some of the older articles (like in 2007) and they all have a comment from bluemoose saying,''.'' :P

Posted by bluemoose in United Kingdom, 05 Oct 2010 13:18

Those are new posts that I used to lock the articles.

@bluemoose, ah yes, the "bug". Named after the time a bug went into a computer and damged it. Full of useless infomation, i am.

Commenting has ended on this article.
