finally something great for our friends down south. enjoy.

I am glad to hear this, It will likely bring the price down a bit on ebay. I never got one and avoided the $30-$40 ebay price. It would be great to hear a release number from someone in the know.

I had thought for a while that it was just a matter of time before these end up as a Toys R Us "Free with purchase" giveaway but like voypro, I am not paying $30+ on the secondary market.

Great news for Star Wars fans. I missed out on the "Alien Ship with purchase of any Toy Story set" promotion back in April...

Very lucky... there's been no sign of him in the UK yet :-(

@Huw: Thanks for that post, 'Great minds...' and all that indeed, as I was about to ask if I'd missed the UK release. I hope it doesn't get a UK TRU exclusive deal though, cos' I live nowhere near a TRU... although what with the 'Mandy' armour battlepack release next year, I probably won't feel too bad if i miss this.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!why lego WHY!!!

Well not all that great really only some of the Toyworlds are participating in the promotion and being predominately independent stores joining forces against the bigger retailers there mostly located out in small towns away from the major cities and I have read that there were only allocated 4 to each store I rang Lego Australia when I first read about this to find out more and if any other retailers closer to major cities at a later date will be getting them but couldn’t give me a answer but at this stage it looks like this is the only place it’s going to be offered “pretty piss pore if you ask me” and I told the person I spoke to from Lego Australia that to! I also requested to pass on if he could to Lego Australia that if Toysworld want to have exclusive promotions they should have stores in the major city areas and try to compete with the larger Stores like Toys R Us or Lego should at least let solely owned independent stores like Uncle Pete’s and others that are in major cities to have the opportunity to have the promotion as well. But in saying all this it’s possibly the small allocated number of Boba that Lego Australia got, is the reason why only selective Toyworlds got this promotion, which is a really shame if you ask me.

Well,I have 23pcs. In my collection !

Posted by TC in Australia, 30 Oct 2010 01:23

I have been lucky enough to acquire 2 of these from my local toy store!

Posted by CharlieTheFunEngine in Australia, 01 Nov 2010 03:43

@ TC - Congratulations! Let me guess. You went in, bought a Star Wars set, and got your free White Boba Fett. Then you put your set and White Boba Fett in your car, stuck on a fake mustache and a top hat, returned to the store, bought another, different Star Wars set and got another White Boba Fett. Just kidding. :D

@ TinyTurbosCityAndToyStory- thanks. I didn't even have to leave the store, the shop owner simply offered me a second as a good customer reward! :) How lucky am I!

Posted by CharlieTheFunEngine in Australia, 02 Nov 2010 02:57

@ TC - Wow. They must be really desperate for customers. :D

@ All Australian Fans of LEGO - The LEGO episode of JMTS is on SBS1 at 7:30pm Friday, November 19. I'm stoked because when it was on last year I completely forgot about it!
