In the Christmas section they have labels for polybags- xwing and toy story jeep and a label for a Lego light up keychain. As for the free bullseye dog Lego, it is attached to the giftcard packaging. Gift card is not free. You must put a minimum of $5 on it but you can then use it towards your other purchases.

Posted by natro220 in United States, 05 Nov 2010 16:15

wow, thanks for the rundown! lots of stuff to buy! I also got an email from Lego, you get 50 bonus VIP points if you buy the King's Castle! I think it's still a better deal to get it from TRU though, right?

Posted by yellowcastle in United States, 05 Nov 2010 16:34

@natro - 50 extra VIP points equates to just $2.50 so purchasing it at from Lego will net you about $7.50 in VIP points. And once you add in the Holiday Pick a Brick box, I'd say it's not as clear cut for TRU. All that being said, I would imagine that the King's Castle might be one of the Black Friday specials at Target, TRU, Walmart, or KMart. If so, you might be able to grab it for just $50. Keep an eye out for Black Friday news as it's only a few weeks away...

Posted by jake9 in United States, 05 Nov 2010 17:03

That is an excellent price at TRU for the King's Castle. With prices like that, it makes you think what will come up for the real Black Friday sale. But sadly, the Helicopter and Limo are not on sale at Walmart.

Posted by yellowcastle in United States, 05 Nov 2010 17:18

@jake9 - Sure there's no sale, but I think $30 is a pretty decent price point for this set. :o)

Posted by Ypres in Canada, 05 Nov 2010 18:34

I usually watch the daily changes on Walmart.com. Kinda sucks that they raised the price of the Clone Turbo Tank... I saw it at around $90 US. Something cool I found out (through a question email) is that I can place an online order from Canada (on Walmart.com) and have it shipped to a local US store. Good if you live somewhere in Canada where you only have a Ferry ride or car drive to get across the border!

Posted by Captain Blockbeard in United States, 05 Nov 2010 18:40

I know the TRU sales were seen last weekend in their large Christmas toy catalogue, but I assume the Target $5 coupon hasn't become available yet? At least, I haven't seen it in any ads locally. When it arrives, I'll finally buy the City House!

Posted by Oboe in United States, 05 Nov 2010 18:59

@c.lee.r - Thanks for the heads up on the gift cards. I will be on the lookout for those.

Posted by camoran in China, 05 Nov 2010 20:10

I am not a SW fan and please have someone to confirm this; I saw the Costco at South San Francisco, CA had the 8098 for $100(not sure) and 8088 for $45. Also there were 3 sets of brickmaster books besides SW for 14.99 each. Please check out your local Costco guys ;)

Posted by starfire2 in United States, 05 Nov 2010 20:30

The $5 coupon is in their holiday book located on a side cap in toys.

Posted by AZFIREWOLF in United States, 05 Nov 2010 20:48

The $5 coupon from Target is available for printing on their site.

Posted by Pepper in United States, 05 Nov 2010 21:35

All these prices are great! If I only had that much $ *sigh*.

Posted by atxdad in United States, 05 Nov 2010 22:19

Can someone please post a link to the $5 Target coupon for printing? I can't find it. Thanks!

Posted by Oboe in United States, 05 Nov 2010 22:45

@atxdad. Just go to target.com and way at the bottom in small print is COUPONS. Click that then click toys to narrow it down.

Posted by lego star wars dude in United States, 05 Nov 2010 23:14

@camoran yes, i saw the clone turbo tank for 92 at my local costco. is a nice deal

Posted by lego star wars dude in United States, 05 Nov 2010 23:17

also cad banes speeder and general grevious fighter are on sale for 45.99, and if you buy it , they give you a coupon for 15% off on any atlantis set. both of the sets are good, but i would take cad banes speeder since is an exclusive

Posted by c.lee.r in United States, 06 Nov 2010 01:25

sorry to post again but have info on the target lego "build a bullseye".
wife just got back from the store and was able to find 2 of the gift card bullseye.
they are on the endcap in the greeting cards. she tried to put a dollar on the gift card but there is a $5.00 minimum. bad part is that the gift card is on the box that holds bullseye, must take the case to use your gift card.
On the back there is number 4613985.

huw@ if you would like a scan of the back for our set inventory let me know. i can scan it. don't have a camera so cannot take a picture of the front.

Posted by starfire2 in United States, 06 Nov 2010 02:02

Don't mean to sound like a jerk but I said that about the Target gift card at the top of the posts. All of Target's gift cards are like that. You must put a minimum of $5 on it. Then you can use the gift card for another purchase.

Posted by AZFIREWOLF in United States, 06 Nov 2010 08:00

Here is a question. Can you use the gift card to buy another gift card? So in theory you could keep using the same $5 over and over again to get a bunch of the little dogs.

Posted by starfire2 in United States, 06 Nov 2010 10:54

Nope.

Posted by nepean in United States, 06 Nov 2010 13:22

At the registers they have a city polybag for $3.99. It is the fire helicopter. They are hanging on a hook with all the other impulse type items. They had some at every register. http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=4900-1

Posted by AZFIREWOLF in United States, 06 Nov 2010 15:28

Starfire - I was at one of them today. the store said yes. I wonder if it depends on who is working. Nepean, I saw the set. It is not really a great set.

Posted by c.lee.r in United States, 06 Nov 2010 16:00

had to buy a gift today so i bought several gift cards then used them to buy the gift. nice, free lego.

Posted by starfire2 in United States, 06 Nov 2010 19:46

Found 8 of the bullseye gift cards at the Target @ 43rd ave & W Dunlap in Glendale AZ. I bought 4 so there were 4 left at last count!!!

Posted by Captain Blockbeard in United States, 07 Nov 2010 13:33

In addition to receiving the Target Toy Booklet in the newspaper today, I also found a Christmas Toy booklet from 5 Below here in the US. It claimed they are carrying World Racers 30031, Atlantis 30040, and Racers 7802 polybag sets for $2.99 each. This is the first I've heard of these sets being available in my area.

Posted by Legocityfanatic in United States, 07 Nov 2010 13:58

Wrong, Public transport is $74.99

Posted by starfire2 in United States, 07 Nov 2010 14:57

Actually according to TRU's website the public transportation set is $79.99.

Posted by Legocityfanatic in United States, 07 Nov 2010 18:03

My dad bought it for $74.99.

Posted by Legocityfanatic in United States, 07 Nov 2010 18:03

At TRU

Posted by atmail35 in United States, 07 Nov 2010 18:16

@Captain Blockbeard - I have seen those polybag sets at Five Below before, probably in Sept so it is something they carry. Five Below also has carried Series 2 Minifigures for $1.99. I also found some small boxed Space Police sets for $4.99 (#8399/8400)

Posted by starfire2 in United States, 07 Nov 2010 19:41

@legocityfanatic: I don't doubt you but that is the price listed online and in my local TRU's. So good for you if daddy got it for you for less ;)

Posted by Crt2 in United States, 07 Nov 2010 20:09

I'm in Love with That Bullseye Set! Does anyone Know what The Lowest Price on The Gift card is?

Posted by AZFIREWOLF in United States, 07 Nov 2010 20:11

Crt2 $5 according to Target, however here is a fun thing that you can do. Buy the gift card and then use the gift card to keep buying the next card.

Posted by cjg in United States, 07 Nov 2010 20:25

@AZFIREWOLF: Actually, I'm pretty sure Target won't let you buy gift cards with gift cards. IDK why. You could just use the $$ to buy more Lego though!! :D

Posted by starfire2 in United States, 07 Nov 2010 20:55

We bought 4 of them and put $5 each on them and used the money towards our purchase of other stuff.

Posted by atmail35 in United States, 08 Nov 2010 18:22

You can buy them on-line with a $25 minimum and a $1.95 shipping charge (for your entire gift card order). It might be easier and less gas than driving to multiple Targets. Search on "giftcard" and click on "wow giftcards".

Posted by legoDad42 in United States, 09 Nov 2010 00:13

Posted by dehnehsu in United States, 09 Nov 2010 02:36

Looks like the Prince of Persia Legos are being cleared out at Walmarts. (Not a big surprise since they seemed to be shelf warmers) I found these deals at the Mt. View, Calif. Walmart. Always check the barcode scanners as they didn't post the clearance prices. Desert Attack $3.50, Ostrich Race $8.00, Fight for the Dagger $15.00, Quest Against Time $20.00, Battle of Alumut $30! Yep, $30 for a $80 set!

Posted by AZFIREWOLF in United States, 09 Nov 2010 16:40

Bought what the store had for the gift cards. Only 4 in the entire store. Asked if they were getting more and the lady looked at me with that dumb look.

With a line at the register I decided to just spend the $5 per card. Now the cool part was after I was done I was able to go to the customer service counter and they merged all of the card together into one card.

If you find these cards in your store they are not a typical card that you can carry in your wallet. They are on the back of the plastic case the holds the little bag of pieces. I recommend doing what I did for the simple reason it is going to save time and space. The cases are great, but imagine having to carry it in your pocket as you enter a store or if you are shopping all day.

Also the x-mas stocking stuffer set is out. It is an old set, but redone. 30051 X-wing Fighter. You can view the inventory here: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemInv.asp?S=30051-1

Posted by cjg in United States, 09 Nov 2010 20:25

On walmart.com they have http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=7573-1 for $60 (normally $80). dehnehsu said that he found it for $30 at his wal-mart, so it might be cheaper to get it in-store.
wal-mart link: http://www.walmart.com/ip/LEGO-Prince-of-Persia-Battle-of-Alamut/13250044

Posted by dehnehsu in United States, 10 Nov 2010 01:42

No Bullseye Gift Cards at our Mt. View, Calif. store. They do have freshly stocked Legos in the Christmas item section. 30051 X-Wing $2.99, 30031 World Racer Boat $3.99, Lego "Minifig" light up Keychain $6.99

The Keychain is about 2 3/4" and comes in 2 color variations.. Blue legs, Blue torso and Red arms or Red legs Red torso and Blue arms. I like the blue since the red "Lego" logo on his chest stands out against the blue torso. The minifig has 2 LED's, 1 in the bottom of each foot. You press the Lego logo on his chest to light up the LED's. The head, arms, hands and legs move. It takes 2 CR2025 batteries and they are removable/replaceable with 4 tiny phillips screws.

Posted by cara in United States, 10 Nov 2010 16:30

There were no bullseye gift cards in the bottom half of the south bay either Dehnehsu but after asking and going through quite a few people I found two stores that were willing to let me have two at a time. It seemed like they were portioning them out only to people who ask. I did not see the keychain anywhere, I have seen the x-wing for 2.99, one place said reduced from 3.49. And the police boat, the world racer speed boat each 3.99. Also creator 3 in 1 plastic boxes for just over $5 (I seem to recall they were 6.50 normally).

Has anyone seen or have a target code for the toy story jeep? I havent seen a place on the shelf for it.

Which walmart did you find the pop things in?

Posted by cara in United States, 10 Nov 2010 17:41

Sry can't edit my last message. (Is there a time limit on that?)

Ah I found your first post see it was mountain view.

I tried the story rd and monterey walmarts and no luck. I priced checked the only hassan they had and it was still $7. Mountain view, by phone - and that was a run around, say that they are all out.

Posted by AZFIREWOLF in United States, 10 Nov 2010 18:56

c.lee.r and everyone: if you get the gift card take it to the counter like I said. You can then take the $5 off the card and put it on a different card and you still get the case back. It worked for me. I got all of the boxes back and then got them to put all of the money on a different gift card. It works I am telling you. If you get an idiot at the counter they may need to get a manager or supervisor however it only takes a few moments.

Posted by camoran in China, 10 Nov 2010 19:05

@ cara
I found no luck at South bay(?) Walmarts too. I checked out the Walmarts at Fremont and Mt. View, all Prince of Persia was clear out except I found 2 boxes of Quest against time for $29 at Milpitas. Anyway, Build a Zurg is on sale at all Walmart for $15. Note: Only the Zurg, Buzz is on regular price

Posted by c.lee.r in United States, 10 Nov 2010 19:11

already have several. do my shoping alot at target. so what i have been doing is go pick up all the gift cards. put five on each, then do my shopping, go to the checkout and use the gift cards. think they are running out though because i am not seeing them on the endcaps anymore. my target stores have not set up the xmas miniseasonal section.

Posted by cara in United States, 10 Nov 2010 19:49

@camoran ty I was only interested in POP. We do already have one of each except for Quest against Time. I bought them when they first went on sale at Walmart. I would have snapped some extras up at the price dehnehsu found them in mountain view though! Those were 50% less than the original clearance prices.

Posted by cjg in United States, 11 Nov 2010 23:25

I just got one of the Lego gift cards at Target today. They had at least two others. (my brother bought one) I also got http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=30071-1. They had http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=30051-1 , http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=30011-1 , http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=30010-1 there too. (I think there was another one, but I don't remember which one it was) All of those sets were $3.99.

Posted by dehnehsu in United States, 12 Nov 2010 01:47

Thanks to atmail35 for the tip on getting the Target Bullseye Dog lego gift card online. I hit our Mt. View Calif. Target twice and Sunnyvale once in search of the card with no luck. Nothing but empty pegs where the Card should be! I purchased the minimum $25 gift card online, and the $1.95 shipping will be much less spent in gas searching.

Posted by yellowcastle in United States, 12 Nov 2010 10:14

Most of us just received Doorbuster emails for Toys R Us after 3pm this Friday (today) through 1pm Saturday (tomorrow). The only item of note, though, is the Star Wars Tie Defender for almost 50% off at $26.49.

Posted by Nate the Great of LEGO in United States, 13 Nov 2010 20:46

I didn't know if you wanted to know but at Walmart:
Some Lego Games have been reduced as well.

Creationary $29.00
Mintouraus $20.00
Ramses' Pyrimaid $25.00
