I just got this set in it's original box in a fine condition. It's the start of my tiny monorail track. Not much to say about this set, it contains enough straight pieces to cover about 4 and a half 32 x 32 baseplates and two long curves. There are 8 low and 8 high supports included making it possible to make a low and high loop. The only criticism is that it could have usefully included 2 up and down ramps
This is the best castle land vehicle in the Castle line 30 years. It's a break from the seemingly endless variations on the catapult. The huge wheels rip through the knights army without difficulty it probably mow down trees and can cross moats and ditches if the orcs survive of course what brings me to the battle wheel's weakness. The orcs have no protection or armor and can be taken out with a well aimed arrow. Along with Tower Raid and Troll Assault Wagon I think the Orcs can take it up against anything that is thrown at them.
Bought this set online since I didn't know when and if it comes to stores and didn't want to wait any longer to expend my new castle generation collection. Pro* The figs are great, My first dwarf, the beard is clever and the evil orcs are amazing. * New sword and flag*Catapult is clever with the pullback chainCons* The spinning blade doesn't work because the wheel doesn't roll. * To simple design* Poor dwarf is defenseless without handweapons. 4 out of 5 stars
The idea of two boats combined into one longboat is quite good and works in the old pirates line as well. Set should have come with extra peddles or a sail. What does come with is 3 figs, axe, sword, 4 shields and 2 gems
Here are the Vikings! Finally the first good historic ship after Black Sea Barracuda. The serpent is the coolest creature in the Viking line. The ship can easily to modified into a freighter or maybe even a prison ship for the Fenris wolf in 7015.
It took me weeks to find a store that carried this set. The fortress consists of 4 separate sections. Front gate, back cage with catapult and two identical side walls with small cats. The sets comes with 6 figs and two dragons, lots of weapons including multiple axes. The Fortress lends itself for some great modifications for example its easy to modify the cage into a keep or a barracks.
