The real reason I got this set was for the "Royal Guard" (the red guy). You could not get this guy in any cheap set. "Boba Fett" and "Princess Leia" are just bonus to me. The magnets are in side the mini-figure but do not worry you can still use them as regular figures. Now if you wanted to you could take the heads off of "Princess Leia" and the "Royal Guard" and put on different heads on them. Sadly "Boba Fett's" head is stuck on the body mainly because the helmet and jetpack are one peice. Another down side is the figures do not come with any weapons.
A hospital battle pack? That is the best discriptin for this set. All it is a female doctor and her patient (a guy in this case) with a bed. You will probley want a couple of these if you have a hospital to go a long with it. The set come with a cup and a bonus robot arm witch I use as an medical tool. The bed is not to complex to make, it does have an iv drip to help get your mini-figures better. The set did come in a poly-bag so that should tell you the price and size of it.
I am not too sure but I think we got this with some other sets as in a combo box. It does come with a soldier with shield, sword, spear, and a lance. It is a small set and should not take to long to bulid. The only thing I do recomed is when you are buliding it make sure everthing is flush or the arm of the catapult will get stuck.
A good set for $20 (at the time it first came out). This does have lot of rare parts like the staircase, red roof, plus some printed peices (a magic scroll, the dragons on the arch, and the dragons on the wall peice), and a cloth flag that goes at the top of the tower. This set also come with a wizard with his wand, two sholders one with a rare helmet, and a brown horse with a "horse helmet". Like some of the others have said I do not know why their are wings on the chariot, but I like to think it is for emergency stoping. Over all a good medium set if you need a bulding for your town/city. But, like most sets their is not a back wall so do not thing the thing is a inclosed bulding.
That is what I thought the little bulding was, that or some sort of storage shed. It is a cool little set with a lot stuff going with it. First up is the ghost he does not come in many sets, second is the gray bird I am sure you could use an extra bird, and last is the knight with his horse I am sure we can aways use more of them. And one last feature is the technic blocks in witch you can hook up to other set with to make a bigger castle/fortress.
The main model is a helecopter. And when you turn the wheel on the side the two blades will spin in unison a good feature to have. Their is a seat to put a technic figure in the cockpit (to bad one is not include). The other model to bulid is an airplane. And when you role the wheels on the ground the propler will spin. And, like other technic set their are instructions to hook up an electric motor, in this case it is for the helecopter to spin the blades on it.
It's handy if you are not sure what the lenght some thing is. It mesures four things in the inside is for lenghts of technic axles. The short side is for the hight of bricks up to a ten count. The middle lenght of the triangle is to count the number studs up to a 20 count. And the long side of the triangle is for rounded technic beames it goes to a 15 count.
Like the title says if you have one you basicly have them all. Now I have two of them the black one and the white one. The only differences between them are their "claws" and color of their skin. They do have some cool things to do like curl into a ball and head-butt their enemies.
I got this set for the pull-back motor. And the giant flames did not hurt the sets likableness. For those that do not know the maine model is a funny car or dragster (as some people would call it). The second model witch I am guessing is some sort of furtue car, and yes it does have the pull-back motor in it. One thing I do not get on the maine model is the flame placement, it should be out the exhaust pipes on the sides of the vechicle not out the back on the model as you can see above.
That is what it looks like he is going to do. Maybe they should not make these thing so small. If he is going to try to out race a cop it looks like he is probably going to lose. I think his "speeder" needs some meat to it to give it a chance of winning. It does come with the new telescope and helmet.
A impulse set with a space cop and a robot dog. Now I do not know about you but I think the dog kind of sucks. The reasons the dog is not too good is because it does not want to stay together at the technic peice that holds the flick fire missle. And, speaking of the missle does any one like those things. I will admight to dog does look nice the only plus for the thing. I real do not have much to say about the cop just a regular mini figure.
What you do is smack the pusher down and it makes the car move. It is basicly a red race car (and I think a cool looking one at that). It does have room to fit a technic figure in the race car but, sadly one does not come with it. And it does have cool stearing wheel if you like the one from Knight Rider a plus in my book. Like most technic set it does have alternative models. The other maine one is (I am guessing here) a selker race car. The other two just showes how to turn the main model into a pull-back motor car and how to add some sort of digital reader (I guessing it is for speed).
This set is just a wizard with his treasure cart. It comes with a wazard and his magic wand, a gray bird, a treasure chest, and two wagon wheels. It seems this set came in multiple packages. I am not 100% sure witch one I got but I do know I have one of them.
This set is mostly a parts pack like I said need a monkey for cheap get this set (at the time it was first came out, I am not sure about todays price). And, you want a treasure chest with gold coins, or even a pirate with weapons. But, the reason we got the set at the time was we did not have shovel and we wanted one. So, it is a good set if you want some rare parts.
One of the few "sets" that does not have Batman. Yes this is a magnet set, but unlike the newer sets that the figures stand on a magnet, this one the magnets are in the figures. Do not worry you can still use them like regular mini-figures. The one good thing about this set is if you do not have any of the figures this makes up for it. I just hapen to have another Robin that I got in another set, so that makes this set even better for me since I do not have another Catwoman and Joker figure.
As the title states I think their is not much function for it. I am not sure it is because it is a smaller technic set or what it might be. The prime function is moving of the wings (if you could call them that). And it uses a turn screw which makes it slow and in turn not too fun. I think they should of hooked the propelers up to spin in unison, that would of help the set. A plus is that is does come with a Technic Figure.
I am not too impress with this set it just does not have much going for it. The only good things going for it are: two astronaut for a little set, a big octagon plate (I am guessing that is for some boat set), and maybe the two levers/"control sticks" hinges.
This is a red race cart. If I remember correctly that came with a couple other sets. The good things about it are the red number 3 slope peice, the rear engine bulid, the race driver, and the chase plate. I guess the only bad thing is, it's a small set.
I felt this set was lacking some thing. One thing that could of improve the set would of been another crystal and maybe a plate for the catapult. I got the 8907 Rock Hacker at the same time as this set and I think the 8907 Rock Hacker is the better of the two. The only reason I think anyone would get this set is for the Rock Monster. But if you combine this set with the 8907 Rock Hacker it is a better deal than the 8956 Stone Chopper. (I am assuming you can still get this set. It was found only at Target Stores for the 2009 fall quarter.)
