I got this as my third set, it is pretty good.Pros:Drill/cutterClawVery humanlike stancesDouble headed minfigVery unique designBOULDERAX (Only set he's in I think)ToolsExtra space to add more tools (the spare 'x's in the arms or 'shoulders' (if we were referring to it as a human)Cons:Very unstable on carpet (I had to make the legs hold the weight below the main part, which made me have to move the pickaxe to one of the spare spots - why does he have a pickaxe anyway? He has the awesome drill/cutter)Light (Whats with the little exposed bit where it doesnt fit all the way in the top?)Overall: Very good, only few flaws.
This is my second Power Miners set, and I'm not regretting it at all.The jackhammer front drill is something I would never have figured out if there was no instructions.Pros:Jackhammer/DrillTracks have good gripPulley sled (AWESOME - Love the chain)Wide so it doesn't flipGas tanks (drive the vehicle and maybe power the pnuematic drill?)Cons:Way too many GlaciatorsNo decent spot to put dynamite (why would he keep it in the sled?)Overall: Very good!
Im going to keep it simple with pro's and con's:Pros:Excellent designDrill is awesomeTracks work on smooth surfaces (for me atleast)Great minifigs/monstersCatapult (I mean, who saw this coming? Its a lot better than it could have been)Cons:Bike ramp barely reaches ground (I don't want to go THUD if I want to escape - Easy way to solve this is to add another ladder onto the bottom of that one)Sweeper sometimes doesn't sweep up all crystals and only sometimes works when I try to sweep up monsters - then sometimes when I reverse it to get crystals and monsters that are stuck out, they go flying.Overall very good but could have been that little bit better. 4/5
