The camera cart
Posted by Gus263 on Jul 6 2008 5:55PM
This set is a small set released in the year of 2001, and is a part of the studios theme. As the set 1631, it was sold only the set, but as this (1422), it was a promotional, sold with sweets, in Japan and in some stores (but not in Lego S@H).
This small set really looks like to be a promotional due to the basic size and not much building involved. The car at tha first view looks like good for a cart, but still very basic. The wheels are small gray pieces that connects in the pieces of the back and of the front of the cart.
The base is a small plate that occupates all the space of the cart, and it have a decent size for it. In the back, a gray pieces connects a stick to put in the top of it a camera, what shows at least a bit of accuracy with an original.
The color scheme is basically gray and yellow (about the vehicle), with some few black details. In the front a semi circular piece increases itm and this piece have two studs at the top. About the vehicle, it still good, but much, really much basic. It could be increased with maybe different wheels (bigger than these), or with a different plate used as the base, to have more space for the minifigure, and to moves the camera better than it moves actually.
The minifigure is really useful, and have nice, no much simple or detailed, but a basic body with printed details. Also, it have a cap.
Overall, this set is small but worth a price of a impulse set at least, or less. The building could be a bit better, but the color scheme and minifigure are great, also about the design, it shows at least an accuracy with an original camera cart. So, it gets a 4 out of 5.

Having received this charm for a victory over small competition has remained it is terribly happy. The charm is beautiful and pleasant to the touch. And though it is not completely painted a gold paint (a bottom and interiors of beige color), it not strongly spoils it, and the detail 3*2 of " 50 years " serves as not less pleasant addition. I advise all!

Classic Knights

Lego made some really good minifigure packs back in the day. You get 5 knight minifigures with a cart and supplies. This is a perfect army booster for any castle fan. These type of sets are very good and better than what Lego does today.

A Bit Weird

I know this is supposed to be a dinosaur, but it has like a sabertooth head. The legs and arms are pretty cool and makes the dinosaur have some detail to it. The amount of pieces in this set should have made this into a regular set. This is a good set.

This is a nice little set with some cool stuff. I like the camera mounted to the side of the cart. The cameraman makes this set a bit realistic and fun to play with. This is a fine set for your collection.

This set is one of the small sets released in 1992, and is a part of the Space theme, and "Blacktron future generation" subtheme. At the first view it looks like really incomplete (but this is a small set, so it is cheap and looks like incomplete), and of course, it is basic, but just due to it it isn't that bad.
The building is easy, of course (it is a small set), and the base is a black plate used in under the seat shaped piece. Some small plates with the common black color (among many themes from that times, the beggining of the 90's years) makes the connection to the wings, also black. The wings can move due to some pieces placed at the sides, that make it moves up and down. The semi triangular shape in each wing makes it looks like a bit more realistic than expected, and are really useful to any small spaceship. In each wing is located a small white piece with the blacktron subtheme symbol.
At the back, in the seat shaped piece, there is a white piece with the shape of a back of a missile. Useful to any space set (especially spaceships or also missiles), this piece is good, but it isn't very imaginative at all, due to the shape and size, it is actually big in comparison with some other pieces. But still with no much problems in the building.
At the front, a piece connects two sticks used as controls to the pilot, and these are increased by a white small plate. It have no problem fo the pilot space in the cockpit (not exactly a cockpit because it have none parts above the pilot), but could be increased by another piece, to be a bit more cool.
The minifigure included is a common blacktron astronaut/pilot, very simple in the printed details, but very cool, like the oher classic astronauts from the old space subthemes. It is black and white, with few green details, and also, it have a helmet with a green (called as neon green sometimes, it was very common through space themes formerly, in the late 80's and all the 90's years) visor, and with a simple black jetpack.
The only problems with the building, not exactly problems, but parts that could be a bit better are the white missile part at the back and controls at the front. But, it still ver cool for a small set (the small sets don't have to be great because will be expensive and big, they must be small but at least good for a small, and this is an decent example). It gets a 4,7 of 5. If you buy it by at least the price of a "impulse set", it can increase your space collection. Of course it isn't that much, is like a impulse set, but from one of the classic space subtheme.

This set I SEREOUSLY COOL.
I bought this set for my almost perfect school reaport.
When i was assembling this set i was suprised. I was ecpecting it to be a little biger but the chasies were more complexe than i thought. it was a little stupid that they did not put in the ark, but the treasure is also good. But what realy suprised me is the looks. It may not seem so good on the picture, but it is unbelivable.
Here are some pros and cons:
:)pros
-the front parts of the cars look great
-some rare and new bricks
-very rare gold treasure chest
-indiana jones whit whip and bag
-good army builder
-very detailed
-no stickers(i hate stickers)
-3 guns
-can reinackt a seen from "Raiders of The Lost Brick"
:(cons
-to expensive
-paint peels of the treasure chest
-those antenas on the front always fell of on my one (but i replaced it and now it is great)
-... i can t think of any more cons
And now the final rating:
looks:10
price:7 (it is a bit to expensive, EXPECIALY IN SLOVENIEN! I PAID 8 BUCKS MORE THAN THE PRICE IN AMERICA!)
playabiliti:10
minifigures:9 (one more naci would be nice)
acuracy:10
OVERALL:9/10

this set is so well designed. i love the way you can easily slide the rack out and drop the droids into battle (similar to the dropship)
this set is good for building armies of droids so i recomend it

My new City needed a fire station, but it's much to juniorized. The set is functional but lacks detail that would have added to the set (bottom office needs a chair, garage needs a rolling door (gate is weak), middle (or 2nd floor) is just a wall without office space, and stairs to the 2nd floor would have been nice). The 3rd floor look-out section is badey detailed inside with computers, keyboard, and lights; just a little too narrow. the pole is annoying and dosnt work and the windows, door, and smoked-roof slants arent bad. Lastly, the fire truck/car isn't too bad, just lacks doors. A real fire truck with extending ladder would be better. Figs are nice and the set provides a lot of accessories But as always, needs more stickers..
Overall, at $30, this sets offers not much playability and good pieces making it a OK value. I would probably buy it again for the pieces but still prefer the 80s stations better (like 6382/6385)

This is a small set. The building is simple, and it has some good pieces. It looks OK but there is one problem-a printed piece. I, unlike most people, hate them and like stickers more, and I have a very good reason: you can take stickers off, but not the pictures on printed pcs. That leaves you with 2 choices when building: make your model with those pictures, often theme determining, or don't use them at all. Overall this set well deserves a 8.9/10
