• All the Modular Houses

Compiled by zipsforbananas. Updated 13 October 2013. Contains 10 sets.
Hardly a ground-breaking list, but with the set in the factory category and the latest sets moving to the Creator Expert category it seems worth making.

In many ways only for the completist or anyone with any kind of connection to the launch of the set. It looks blocky and clumsy even compared to the earlier Cafe Corner, is too early for any interior, and the market part of the set is a complete mystery being virtually non-existent!

A cracking set, the first with proper interior, and the actual shop is delightfully stocked. The sand green bricks are quite hard to find if you want to source the bits through bricklink.

Possibly the best of the corner sets; robust, well detailed inside, and with a lot of very nice touches, particularly the excellent escalators.

The best of all the modulars in my opinion, with the two buildings and three floors on each, great interior (except the conspicuously empty town house floors) and overall pleasing nature.

A colossus of a set, which unfortunately makes it hard to fit in with the others being so much taller, which is particularly odd next to sets that look like they should be taller if you know what I mean! Excellent as always though, with some fantastic touches to the interior and some great techniques used to build it.

A modular set? Hardly, but a nice tribute nonetheless.
(I wanted to make it 7.5 on the list!)

Bricklist notes
Controversial with only two floors, a puzzling vehicle, a repeated minifigure (red-dress lady from the Pet Shop) and the first stickers in a modular set, this is nonetheless a very enjoyable set. The obligatory 45 degree section on the corner is well done, and the detailing and interior are everything we've grown to expect since the Fire Brigade.

What a stunner! Due out in January, filled with olive green and dark red and blue, packed with character this looks like a must have. I wonder if Pet Shop will be supplanted as my favourite....
