Review: 75441 Venator-class Attack Cruiser

Posted by ,

75377 Invisible Hand was launched in 2024 and the famous Republic equivalent, 75441 Venator-class Attack Cruiser, follows next year! Star Wars fans have highlighted the vessel as a possibility since the Starship Collection started and I think this model looks fantastic.

The shape and proportions of this ship are very faithful to the source material; remarkably so considering the size. Furthermore, the Venator-class Star Destroyer is designed at exactly the same scale as 75377 Invisible Hand and seems equally detailed, so the two should be flawless companions on display.

Winter Gazebo

©2025 LEGO Group

It was remiss of me not to inform you until now that 40778 Winter Gazebo, the first of two seasonal GWPs that are being offered during December, is a gift with purchase at LEGO.com until tomorrow.

It's free with purchases over £135 / €150 / $150 and, additionally, 40704 Micro NINJAGO Docks will be added to your basket as well, as an unadvertised gift. I don't think those micro Ninjago sets were too successful if they are now resorting to giving them away...

40777 Celebration Series: Gingerbread Train Ornament is the next one, and it'll probably be offered from Wednesday.

Review: 42223 1966 Ford GT40 MKII

Posted by ,

42223 1966 Ford GT40 MKII is one of three 15-wide Technic cars that have been announced for release in 2026. The relatively compact format allows the designers to produce reasonably accurate models at a mid-price point, albeit with limited functionality.

The 20-odd that have been produced so far have portrayed modern cars. This is the first to tackle a historic vehicle.
