Help! I'm missing my daily fix of banter!
This is a joke.... I pay good money to remain a member of the forum and now it's off line - I demand a refund!
Anyone shaking in the corner yet as the withdrawal starts to set in?
Having had to find something else to read today instead, I saw this on the BBC website and wondered if it was related (I also found it somewhat suprising that this could even happen):

This is not good.
On the other hand, work productivity is up 58%.
It is Friday and now I am actually having to do some work :(
I haven't got any work to do! Boo - don't suppose you have the JL code for the 10229 WVC you could PM me?
I believe it's 78644713.
Apparently "We have found the problem and are working on restoring service."
^^Ah. That's Benny's Spaceship. No worries though.
My internet access is currently working, oh the irony! : D
Just realized how many times I bounce in and out of the forum during the day. :-)
Iso3200 its 78640616 (thankfully copied it from the forum this morning and have mine on its way now). As someone else mentioned Exeter has them in stock (well did this morning), as that's where mines coming from. £3 delivery if you don't make the order up to £50 though
I believe a forum replacement has been found, Huw- this comment thread. :-P

Thanks Mojoest :-)
I've never bothered to have a forum account, so although I'm not entirely upset, I wish you luck in getting it back up!
Exeter now sold out, I got four this morning
Goodness, I actually had to go for a 3 mile long walk hoping the forum would return on my return (something I never usually do. The 3 mile walk that is). Suffice to say, it hasn't. Is this the longest outage the forum has actually had?
Well, at least I got some more levels of Angry Birds Star Wars finished to 3 stars I guess! If that's any more productive... ;-P
"We are working diligently to resolve the issue, and hope to do so as quickly as possible. If the developers pass down any details about the situation, I will be sure to update you. You can always keep an eye on http://status.vanillaforums.com/ as well."
2:53 PM UTC INFO
We are continuing to work on the issue that has brought down some customers' sites. Updates will follow as soon as we have additional information.
12:37 PM UTC MAJOR
A small number of customers are experiencing an outage. The cause is known and service will be restored shortly.
That BBC article explains the Comcast internet problems I've been having for about two weeks.
I think my version of shortly differs from the forum hosts.
"This was caused by a disk failure on one of our servers. We're currently hard at work to move data over to a working server so that service can resume, but this can be a slow process. The host server was operating under RAID 10, so we are hopeful that full data restoration will be possible and are working towards that goal. In the mean time, you can check status.vanillaforums.com for information on current server status."
It's working now. Time to catch up... oh, wait.
