First look at this year's Christmas sets

Awesome!! Absolutely love these vignettes this year. Surprised to see two for Christmas.

@JonMarten - it was introduced in last years City Arctic sub theme ( http://brickset.com/sets/theme-City/subtheme-Arctic ) and has since appeared in a handful of other sets too. They are nice though, the marbling type two colour moulding means that each one looks unique.

I love these! Big thumbs up after the slight dip with the Halloween one.

I'm liking these... ditto @LostInTranslation as very disappointed with the last one.

Are we getting these *and* the Thanksgiving one in the UK or is that a US-Exclusive?

this year Vignettes have a great design.

unfortunly i "wake up" for them with the Holoween one, i need to bought the last two....

They are nice but I'd much rather have each vignette restricted to the actual 8x8 plate instead of going outside of it. These just look like smalls sets.

It's awesome that my picture has been picked up by the Lego Fan sites, that I frequent daily.

I see, that in many countries TLG is releasing sets in different dates - in Poland some of them there are earlier than in the others. Besides they look great and must have! :)

Alright! These look great, my prediction of Santa visiting was right, but I don't see a child spying on him. Two sets is a little odd, but I'll take it!

It would be impressive if they were designed tightly within the baseplate, but it doesn't bother me that they aren't.

I agree. Little additions like in Valentines and Easter sets are OK. However, in those newer sets too much is happening outside baseplate. Whole action should be closed on baseplates.
However, I love them all!

I think this confirms for me that the Winter Village line is done.

The winter fun set is my least favorite of the series, but the santa's visit makes up for it! : ) In the past few years that I have been collecting, there has always been two Christmas sets. And all from this series had extras, which I love, not sure why people here are upset that the scene is not contained on the baseplate?! Also, don't get the dislike of the Halloween set, it's one of my favorites....to each his own!
