AoU Hulk polybag promotion begins

The Hulk

When you make a LEGO purchase of $25 or more (excluding clearance and Friends) at Toys R Us in Canada, you will receive 5003084 Avengers: Age of Ultron Hulk polybag set, as seen to the right, free. However, it may sell out quickly, so do hurry! The set includes an exclusive minifigure and stickers, as well as a Hydra vehicle that can be split in two, to simulate "smashing".

Hopefully, this makes its way to the US and other places soon!

Thanks to FBTB for the news. Also check out WhiteFang's recent review on Eurobricks to see if the set interests you.

By in Canada,

The promotion actually started on Friday, but I didn't see it until today. Sadly by then, the manager said both the Bricktober set and the polybag had sold out, and people had lined up before the store opened at my location just to get it.

eddyskywalker, most likely, it will be the usual story & we'll miss out again... Seems like TLG thinks Aussies are allergic to polybags.

What's the deal with the extra sticker sheet? I got one in my Rocket Raccoon polybag (5002145) as well...

By in Canada,

I had the same experience @legoboy76; visited on Saturday and they were out of polybags. They only received 30, so no surprise they were out.

yes! Got mine and wow is it awesome.

@Starik20X7 I believe they go in the Quinjet. The ones that came with Rocket Raccoon can go in the Milano.

By in United Kingdom,

I'll try to get hold of this from somewhere online, though the prices could put me off quite a bit.

Give me a grey Hulk and I'll be interested.

By in United States,

They are fun little sets, but even with the distribution limited for a lot of outsider countries, distribution is limited within the states too. My TRU rarely has these sets. I talk to staff and they claim they didn't get any or sometimes they are "sold out" before the promotion even has happened....

Either way, not just you miss out on these, even people within the release region get screwed over. Thanks LEGO. You really show you care about the fans...

I had the same "never received them" and "sold out" runaround at 2 of my local TRU stores.

Oh well.

By in Canada,

I guess I must be lucky, the TRS near me rarely runs out before the end of the week, still I got mine Friday to be sure. I think there might just be fewer people watching for polybags here.

By in Canada,

I wonder if LEGO or TRU even realize how many pissed of parents they probably end up with vs 'happy' parents?

TRU Flyers always state 25 per store in their fine print. These things are limited, and Super Hero Polybags of any kind are very in demand, scalpers alone know this and tend to haunt TRU isles to get as many of them as they can through shady and underhanded means.

Honestly aside from the Minifigure this set isn't much to write home about, the included sticker sheet doesn't even tell you what set to use them on, I know you can use it for anything you want and all that, but the extra details for the Milano which came with Rocket Raccoon at least served some purpose.

I'm sorry if you can't find them at your stores due to sold out or other problems, and I hope you'll be able to get one if you really want, but honestly you might have better luck Bricklinking the Minifigure if that's all you want the most out of it.
