By in United States,

I am now very sad that I do not own any variant of Princess Leia, and I call myself a LEGO Star Wars fan. May the Force be with you, Carrie, Always.

By in South Africa,

Just horrible news! 1977 opened my eyes to a whole new world and 2016 now closes a whole series of chapters of my life. Our thoughts go out to family and friends.

By in Poland,

Funny thing- the first movie with her I ever seen was: Amazon Women on the Moon
You NEED to see it.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Awful news. RIP Carrie.

Gravatar
By in United States,

She will be missed!

Gravatar
By in United States,

If you only know her from her movies and TV work I suggest checking out pretty much any interview she has done. She was amazing and unique. She had drug addiction and mental health issues and talked about them openly in a fun and loving way that I have never seen another human do. It was a treat to share this time on this planet with her. The media is showing some great video and interviews but my favorites are the ones she did with Craig Ferguson on The Late Late Show. Just two normal people talking about getting over addiction, Carrie's several month electric shock treatments and of course the famous kangaroo balls.

By in United States,

I'd like the next Advent Calendar to include a Santa Leia as the day 24 figure as a tribute, maybe.

Gravatar
By in Israel,

I can't belive she's dead

David Bowie, Alan Rickman, now Carrie Fisher. 3 of my favorite people gone this year. :(

Gravatar
By in Puerto Rico,

R2 actor and now Carrie die with he year almost ending (she had just fineshed acting for Episode 8 so her minifigure based on her may be the last of she wasn't meant to die in the film, though they can always use the technics that they used on RO (Tarkin, young Leia, Red 5 and Gold Leader)).

RIP your Highness, my favorite princess from Disney(and before her character became Disney property).

By in United States,

She will live forever in our hearts and in the LEGO Star Wars Universe !!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I was deeply saddened when I heard the news. 2016 has been an awful year with so many iconic people no longer with us.
RIP Carrie Fisher, the toughest princess in the galaxy.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Sad news. Princess Laiya is one of, or maybe the only one of my favourate famale charactors of all time. She and Harrison Ford are true icons of the SW universe to me.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Man, God is really trying to drive the point home that 2016 was a garbage year. Now if you'll excuse me I must go home to my country that is literally on fire still from the election and watch some news about new terrorist attacks and mob hits on 80 year old ladies.

Gravatar
By in United States,

R.I.P Carrie, The galaxy has lost a star but you're light shines on.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Carrie is now truly one with the LEGO Force.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Well. Not much I can say about this, but I'm sure LEGO will make more figures, because she's really cool. And this is really sucky news.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

It was such devastating news. Sad times.

Gravatar
By in United States,

According to her memoir "Wishful Drinking," Carrie Fisher wanted her obituary to read "Drowned in moonlight, strangled by her own bra." Her singular wit, charm and good humor will be sorely missed.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I'm sad she was a amazing character she will be miss but may the force be with her and her family Starwars and relative. God bless her :(

Gravatar
By in United States,

R.I.P.

Gravatar
By in United States,

RIP Fisher. You are now one with The Force...

Gravatar
By in United States,

Aw man. :( Rest In Peace.

Gravatar
By in United States,

RIP. A wonderful, real person and legand.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Shocked and sorry to hear that this would happen, but great support from the community. Everyone that knew a little about her besides her roles will know she was a legend off screen as well as on. And a minifigure record to boot.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Now I'm hearing her mother, Debbie Reynolds, has passed too. How depressing.
I feel awful for their family. What a horrid year this has been. RIP.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Yes, it is true, first Fisher and now Reynolds...

Gravatar
By in United States,

Awful, just awful. I watched Star Wars this afternoon with my Dad in tribute to her. She has been, and always will be, my favorite Princess and a favorite actor. The real gut punch is her Mom died today, I feel so sorry for Billie Lourd...

"Death is a natural part of life. Rejoice for those around you who transform into the Force. Mourn them do not. Miss them do not. Attachment leads to jealously. The shadow of greed, that is." - Yoda

"Now I think that this would make for a fantastic obit — so I tell my younger friends that no matter how I go, I want it reported that I drowned in moonlight, strangled by my own bra." - Carrie Fischer

Thank you, Ms. Fisher, for being the princess I needed when I was both a young girl and a grown woman. Feeling pretty gutted, but also very grateful for what both you and your mother have given the world. May the force be with us all.

Gravatar
By in Sweden,

What an awful year for her family, friends and fans. I can't realize that Debbie has passed away too.

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

May the force be with her.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

2016 has just been one enormous celebrity obituary. We've lost 3 Star Wars actors at least: Leia, R2-D2 and the voice of Admiral Ackbar.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

She drowned in moonlight, strangled by her own bra.

RIP the wonderful Carrie Fisher 1956 - 2016

Gravatar
By in United States,

Madame Fisher, May the Force Be With You.

RIP Carrie Fisher 1956-2016

Gravatar
By in United States,

It makes me want to cry, and worst I don't have her as a mini-figure. :_(

Gravatar
By in United States,

Carrie Fisher left the world far too soon, and her loss will be felt by millions. God bless, and may the force be with you, always.

Gravatar
By in United States,

R.I.P

Gravatar
By in United States,

Thanks Chris. Sad, sad day.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I feel bad about this. Leia has always been a great female character (one of the best in my opinion). I do agree her life was pretty short and I wonder what will happen in episode 8? Guess Star Wars will never be the same

Gravatar
By in Australia,

Very, very sad.
