Entertainment Weekly has revealed 76075 Wonder Woman Warrior Battle. This set is based on the upcoming Wonder Woman movie and will be released on the 1st of May, a month ahead of the film.

The set includes 286 pieces and features Wonder Woman, Steve Trevor, a brick-built Ares figure and a fighter plane. This large figure offers our first look at Ares in the DC film universe, much like Marvel's Giant Man figure did in last year's 76051 Super Hero Airport Battle.

The price has yet to be confirmed but I imagine it will roughly match 76060 Doctor Strange's Sanctum Sanctorum, costing £29.99 in the UK or $29.99 in the US.

I just love her minifig! The set looks like it has some great pieces.

By in United Kingdom,

Might actually get this. That plane looks great!

By in United Kingdom,

This looks rather excellent... but depends on price. £30 or £40 GBP? or more

By in United States,

Is it just me, or is the Wonder Woman figure updated since the Batman v Superman set? This set looks great! So glad to see the Giant Man design coming back!

By in United States,

@Echolord, it has been updated by the looks of it from BvS. However it may just be a coloring error on the part of the box designer since her hair is different as well.

By in United States,

I'm not a big super hero's fan but this set looks great! The skull helmet for Ares looks fantastic and I can see those shoulder pieces being very useful for spaceships. Also really like the little fighter plane. I'll have to get this if it ends up being 30.00 or less.

By in Belgium,

That is awesome, I was hoping they would reuse the basic design of that Giant Man figure from the civil war set and this one looks really great.

By in United States,

"Giant Man! I am coming for you!" -Ares

Gravatar
By in United States,

Man, that actually looks really cool!

Gravatar
By in Canada,

looks like ww2 plane guy

Gravatar
By in Poland,

Everything is awesome, but why there's so many stickers?

Gravatar
By in United States,

I wish the giant man was a little more articulated. I will have to mod it, but as a person that does not collect superheroes I still will have to get this.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Love it!

I'm hoping there are so many stickers Parson because the set is HOPEFULLY $30 and not $40.

Gravatar
By in France,

Just 30$ (~38€)!!! Oh this set is great, the fact that they reuse the same system as Gient-Man is nicely done. Will absolutely get this jewel.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I'm just guessing on price, don't quote me for fact. But with the piece count and stickers and not printed I think $30 is about right.

But if an Iron man set can have 377 pieces, three minifigures than this should be cheaper too.

By in United States,

SoOoOoOoOo glad we are FINALLY getting Ares in a LEGO set! (Even if it's not the traditional DC Ares(Or a normal mini-fig) I just hope this movie handles him right.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Great I might. Buy this as the only wonder woman minifig I have is the micro mashers one with doomsday..
I particularly like the Ares brick built figure..

Gravatar
By in Canada,

@parsom: Because a dozen uniquely printed parts for one set, in addition to the five or six the set already includes for the minifigures, would be hard to justify at any reasonable price point.

Gravatar
By in United States,

The stud shooters on the front of the plane look awful. I really wish Lego would do away with those horrid things.

Gravatar
By in Puerto Rico,

The WWI plane looks great but let's be honest, the Ares figure is a beast. I want its part list so that I may make a figure similiar of him but I will start looking at the Giant Man instructions first...

By in Australia,

I saw this and I said to myself, Is that a Spitfire?! That plane is not a Spitfire but it looks AWESOME. I love the wheelchair wheels as landing gear. The pilot chap looks awesome too.

I don't care for Wonder Woman and that giant samurai thing will be annoying if I get this. Hopefully its cheap since $30 US means $40-$50 AU.

If any of you guys just want the superhero stuff, please consider selling me that plane and pilot.

By the way, judging by the type of aircraft and pilots uniform is the new film set in the 1930s or WW2?

Gravatar
By in United States,

Wow, this is actually very good looking. I am normally a Marvel collector, but this is one DC set which I think will be worth picking up!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Ares Figure-Amazing!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Probably chock full of stickers for the details on Ares.

Gravatar
By in United States,

That skull looks fantastic. The other two figs look great too. But that skull. Dang.

By in Canada,

@Brickchap

Yes, the film is about Princess Diana leaving Themyscira, an island paradise of Amazon warriors, to stop the folly of The War to End All Wars. As was suspected and this set confirms, of course the God of War was behind such bloodshed.

The pilot is Steve Trevor, who crashes offshore and is rescued by Diana. In the film and comics, she is piqued by him being the first male she's ever seen and wants to know more of the outside world, which puts her at odds with her mother and kingdom's preference for seclusion.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I am guessing that this set is going to be priced similarly to The Sanctum Sanctorum.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Ares face will hopefully be printed like Giant Mans.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Thus looks like a winner! Good price point on it too.

Gravatar
By in Singapore,

Looks interesting. I wonder if the biplane is historical?

Gravatar
By in Australia,

Correction of my earlier comment.

The film is in ww1 and I did think the plane was reminiscent of Louis Blériot's plane.
Although a biplane would probably be more ww1 to me.

Thanks to this set, I might actually consider seeing the new movie. Mind you, America only joined ww1 in 1917 so I think Wonder Woman's aim to end the war early is just a waste.

By in Australia,

@scottlu

You mean you are interested in selling me the plane and pilot?

Gravatar
By in Finland,

I'm so glad I didn't spend my money on 76046 Sky High Battle set... Now I'll be able to get even nicer Wonder Woman figure in an even better set!

Oh, and BTW... It's lovely to see the wheelchair wheels used on the plane!

Gravatar
By in Sweden,

This looks like a winner. A cool plane, great minifigs and a cool mega figure. Totally getting it.

Gravatar
By in Norway,

the plane looks quite period accurate. Ares also looks awesome.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

The set looks Great and the Wonder Woman figure look great.

Gravatar
By in Sweden,

Nice to see more of that kind of planes, reminds me of Indiana Jones!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

IT's a BIG FIG!!!!
WOOT! ok have to get that.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

This is great. I love the plane, I love the giant fig and the brighter version of the sword-and-shield Wonder Woman costume looks much better.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Wow, that looks really good. I don't often collect Superhero sets, but for the price and what you get, I may spring on this.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

@Brickchap

Yep, I would be happy to split it up.
When we see the final price and it becomes available we can discuss further.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

@scottlu

Ok, sounds great. You don't have Tanker Truck Takedown do you?

Gravatar
By in United States,

I find it astonishing that another giant-man type figure is being made!! Hopefully that will mean more and more. This makes me a lot more excited for Wonder woman. Ares looks awesome and can't wait for movie!!!! :)

Gravatar
By in Australia,

@Brickchap

I don't have that one, no.
Is there a way to PM on this site instead of talking in the comments section?

Gravatar
By in Australia,

@scottlu

I don't think so. People have asked for a pm function before, but Brickset has too many other things they need to deal with.
