LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 Giant-Man minifigure revealed!

Posted by ,

The deluxe edition of LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 has been revealed today and with it comes a brand new Giant-Man minifigure. TT Games' Arthur Parsons has suggested that Hank Pym's alter ego plays a huge role in the story of the video game during an interview published on Marvel.com.

Interestingly, this blue and yellow costume is more frequently associated with Goliath, another of Hank Pym's super hero identities. Nevertheless, I look forward to adding the figure to my collection when it becomes available in November, although there are other characters which might have been more appealing.

Which Marvel Super Heroes character would you most like to see with a future video game? Let us know in the comments.

Nice minifigure I suppose, but, like you said, there are more appealing characters

There's only one character I want that probably is on the no list at LEGO, and that is the Punisher.

I like him... but I don't even have a console for the game, so no point in trying to get him.

Should've been Spidey 2099, but then again they're not known for including major characters in the Pre-Order polybag. Oh well, I guess it's still pretty neat.

Sabertooth would be awesome for a new villlan and Daredevil would great as a new hero.

Plain blue arms and legs...feels like a Marvel junior builder minifig...

I would love to see Daredevil, Iron Fist and Luke Cage

@TheBrickPal, why not risk buying a popular version of the game, then selling immediately on ebay etc for a reduced price. Anyone wanting the game but not the figure will surely snap up a new game for a reduced price...... they you just pay the diff for the figure ?? A previous article about Lego Dimensions seem to suggest a lot of people want the figures but not the game content and vica versa. I bought about 5 dimensions packs before the game as I wanted the figs....

By in United States,

I'm actually kind of disappointed and considering not getting the game due to the exclusive character. Let me explain though. I've played all of the lego starwars video games, and thoroughly enjoyed all of them. I had no intention of buying the first LMSH game, and in fact did not even know it was a thing. I was at walmart and saw there was one with the iron patriot and picked it up - the game was phenomenal! When i heard about the Lego marvel: the avengers game, i was of course interested to see if it had another iron man variant and because the first game was good. While not a direct sequel, the game was again very good - and it came with another iron man variant. As a bit of a mainstream fan, I guess I'm disappointed that it isn't another iron man figure, partly because I collect (have all but the SDCC version) iron man variants and because it is the first thing that drew me to the game. If I knew more about Giant Man, perhaps I'd be interested, but as it stands now, I will likely wait to buy a cheaper used copy a few months after release.

By in Puerto Rico,

I like how it looks but I won't be getting the Deluxe Edition most likely.

I'd love to see Lego bring out a line of fantastic four sets

Looks like a nice minifig. It also looks like it'll be super hard to get if you're not a gamer.

glad the minifigure is in the deluxe version this time and not a Gamestop preorder exclusive

Giant Man? It looks more like a Cyclops variant, I don't know much about the history of the character, but I don't recall him wearing an outfit this close to the Cyclops X-Men uniform... I could be wrong though.

It's a really bland choice honestly, the print doesn't look nearly as exciting as Silver Centurion.

Cool Goliath. I wish they had a Spider-Gwen or Daredevil.

By in United States,

This minifigure is really bland compared to other video game exclusives Lego has had in the past.

Gravatar
By in United States,

That's a big step down in details from a silver centurion or even Iron patriot...

A-Bomb in LEGO form will be awesome.

Opposite to Ant-Man.

Just wait to get the deluxe edition, price will always drop on these games. I am still a few TT games behind (I own them all on a few different systems), and I was able to get TFA Deluxe edition on Amazon for $19.99 a few months back.

Silk would have been pretty cool, but since these pre-order minifigs are exclusively male,(what's up with that?) Agent Venom would also be a good choice.

By in Sweden,

Pretty neat minifigure, I am still hoping for Spider-Man 2099!

Gravatar
By in Canada,

But not Dimensions compatible

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

How on earth did they not choose the Wild-West Captain America as the figure? Honestly the pre-orders would be stacking up for that figure alone.

Gravatar
By in United States,

^that would probably be too similar to the Wild West Emmet with the old LEGO Movie Videogame, however it would definitely be an improvement

Gravatar
By in Brazil,

Boring. Why not someone (ANYONE) from Spiderverse? Might get the deluxe edition for 100% only but now there's no need for the physical edition.

By in United States,

How about the ladies that are giant?

The videogame pack-ins have been pretty underwhelming as of late. I guess it's hard to top the Silver Centurion though; that's one of the coolest minifigures ever made!

I'm surprised there isn't more excitement for this. LEGO's done a great job of making merchandise for the Marvel movies and cartoons, and even modern comics have started to get a bit of attention, but there's still very little in the way of classic comic releases outside of Spider-Man and the occasional X-Men. We badly need some classic Avengers, and a Hank Pym (my second favourite superhero) is a great place to start, it's just a shame it'll be so hard for me to get.
