BrickHeadz competition reminder

Our BrickHeadz competition is still underway and we've received hundreds of fantastic and imaginative entries on Flickr and Instagram.

We have dozens of sets to give away including Batman Movie, Ninjago Movie, Minecraft, BrickHeadz and loads more, and we've enlisted LEGO BrickHeadz designer Marcos Bessa to help with the judging.

We'll be accepting entries until the end of August so if you've not already submitted yours, get building ASAP! Most entries have been produced digitally in LDD or similar so my advice is to submit brick-built models, which will be judged separately, to be in with a better chance of winning.

We look forward to seeing what you come up with!

By in Canada,

There is so many great entries!
I would suggest to select winners in many categories (not necessarily prize for every category):
-Funniest
- best use of parts
- best hairstyle
- most unusual, surprising
-etc

Now LEGO Ninjago Movie is getting into the prize mix, huh.

I don't really have the pieces for a physical build but I'll try my best to submit at least one.

Oh man my physical builds are done just waiting on the art to put them over the top!

I do not envy those who have to judge this particular competition. So, so many splendid entries.

Frankly EVERY SINGLE entry into this competition is better than ANY of LEGO's own models (with perhaps the exception of the build-your-own Wonder Woman), since the official models all rely far too heavily on custom-printed tiles.

Pretty much all of the entries so far have been absolutely stellar. Can't wait to see more!

Is adding prints via photoshop legal?

Oh I just counted and I've made 23 (I think may have to double check) entries with more on the way (ha maybe a bit over board :P) but I am glad for this contest as it has gotten me in to making digital brickheads and I will continue to make them after the contest ends.

@ZeeBricks - Yes, adding printed designs in Photoshop is permitted.

I was going to do a Dippper and Mable but the I decided to not enter because it would take a while to get the pieces needed. Oh well, now that idea is first come-first serve.
