How to get hold of the seasonal freebies

The November brand store calendar for North America has been published, which has revealed how you'll be able to get hold of the two gift with purchase sets we revealed yesterday.
- 40253 Christmas Build-Up will be free with a $99 spend, 1-15 November
- 40254 Nutcracker will be free with a $99 spend over the Brick Friday weekend, 24-27 November.
The Brick Friday offers will also be available to VIPs the weekend before, 18-19 November, along with double VIP points.
I suspect the offers will be similar in Europe: we'll let you know when they've been confirmed.

$99 bucks seems like a lot to spend for just that, but I guess it is a good value compared to previous polybags with that same requirement.
Holy cow that's expensive. I can't imagine/remember spending that much for the 24-in-1 countdown last year.
@sid3windr Last year's 40222-1 Christmas Build-Up was free with a EUR65 purchase.
They've definitely upped the requirements for the freebies, which is unfortunate.
It's disappointing that the first freebie isnt available in October like it was in the past.
@Ken Benjes Are you high? The Holiday Countdown set from last year was also a $99 threshold.
@mustang69 Okay, except this year we're getting the brick built VIP card and LEGO Store in October during double points. I'd rather have more cool giveaways than fewer.
@sid3windr: Yes the 24-in-1 advents in US last year were at $99 spending threshold.
Nutcracker is already available in Lithuanian certified LEGO stores. Free with purchase over 59.99 EUR.
Look at it this way: since most LEGO sets are approaching the $99-or-greater price range anyway, you only have to buy one set to get the freebie...right?
Kudos Huw for the upcoming promo chart on the Buy page; I've never seen that before, most helpful!
Perhaps I will be able to do double VIP, GWPs and the Lester polybag in one fell swoop. It's hard to tell but this year's build up looks better than last year's.
Brick Friday weekend in the US also has the 5005326 Canvas Tote Bag with $199+ purchase, just like July. So a 199+ spend gets you a 230-piece Nutcracker and a really nice exclusive bag.
What's the deal with the Christmas ornaments with the date stamp? Do we have to wait until December?
