By in United Kingdom,

So... 25% off Assault on Hoth (hypothetically). Deal or no deal?

By in Italy,

Hope, hope, but it’s impossible. LEGO told me that there isn’t possibility before new year...

By in New Zealand,

Unsurprisingly, the "offer" for us is just 10%. I never would have guessed we'd by screwed again. So may I take this opportunity to wish everyone at LEGO a very Merry Christmas. Y'know ... festive goodwill to ALL men (and women and kids) regardless of where they live.

By in United Kingdom,

I'd wager all the 'mystery' sets are either 1.) Very expensive already or 2.) perhaps expensive but about to be retired soon. Surely the offers for these cant be the same as the 'random Friday in November' (Black Friday) ones?

I'd also wager that the Star Wars offers might include the Freemaker Adventures sets - the series might be decent but the sets are clogging shelves everywhere I go, so they seem hard to shift. We already knew TLG had issues trying to shift Clone Wars and Rebels sets in comparison to cinematic release ones so maybe the same pattern's happening again?

As for Assault on Hoth Brainslugged, let's just say I'm glad I bought it on my Inside Tour in the employee store...

By in United States,

I don't get why Europe and even Australia and New Zealand get some Christmas deals in addition to the Brick Friday ones we just had. The US/Canada don't have any Christmas advent calendar special deals, none that I can see yet.

Now then ... would you care to discuss the fact that your normal, everyday, non-sale prices are already less than our discounted prices? Jeez, some people have nothing better to do than complain....
:-D

By in United Kingdom,

Are you sure its 3 different sets from 12-14 ?
The Lego UK site says "...save 20% on this fantastic set. For 3 days only" That means 1 set for 3 days.

^ I've been told it's a different set each day.

By in Sweden,

Let's see what the surprise set(s) is/are. Technically, I'm done with Lego for this year. Not like there aren't still sets I'd be interested in, but it feels like I definitely bought enough for this year. But as always I may still be tempted...

As hardwax said, the wording doesn't make it sound like 3 different sets. 'Don't miss your chance to save on this fantastic set. For 3 days only!' makes it seem that it will be just one set, but then if what Huw's been told comes true then that is actually better, so why Lego wouldn't make that clear is beyond me. 3 discounted sets each for one day only would potentially see 3 separate sales from a customer rather than 1, but if they don't know the set will be different each day they may make a purchase on day 1 and then not revisit the site/shop again thinking they've had the deal.

Either way though, if there are 1-3 good discounts on large sets then that is good for everyone :)

By in Finland,

Insult on Hoth is €299 here, if they can get that down to €199 for a final hurrah then I might bite on it. Just for the figs and tauntaun.

By in United Kingdom,

some stores have the UCS MF in stock. so hopefully it could be still be in stock during the Double points. Pity I already got mine in case it went back out of stock. I wonder what the offer gifts will be - no doubt something that most fans will already have picked up.

Well,at least LEGO is trying. That's good.

I just hope one of those discounted sets will not be Palace Cinema, as I bought it not long ago as it will be discontinued from 1st Jan :P...

My predictions are - 1 set from Creator, 1 from Technic and 1 from Star Wars.

Carousel/Ferris Wheel, 6x6 All Terrain Tow Truck and Tie Fighter xD.

The 15-17 December double points is no surprise for me as I knew about it 3 weeks ago,so I already planned my visit to MK Lego on Saturday 16th. I hope for Falcon to be in stock, so those double points will go into full effect!!!

We will see :).
