By in United States,

Are there any US based stores (other than bricklink stores) that offer a similar selection? Shipping would be so much cheaper.

By in Spain,

And what happens with the Police Minifigure? Is it not included??

By in Germany,

More like incomplete set of 16 minifigures.

By in Ireland,

I am keen to get a box of this series (just to save my time to feel that police man in store, and I am sure my friends/family dont mind to have some of these customed minifigs), does anyone know the best way to get a box?

A complete set with one missing. Doesn't sound very complete to me!

This series looks amazing! Like this comment if you love the new collectible minifigures: series 18!

Yeah this will be a pain on eBay because 'complete set' mean Police Officer and I have no need for that waste of space.

KelricEP, use eBay. I just bought 18 of the 20 Batman series 2 for $44 shipped. I got a complete series of NinjaGo for $46 and Batman series 2 was going for almost half off at one point.

Price gouging much? Seriously... Offering the majority of figures for more then the rrp, then a 'full set' with one missing?

@GrizBe, Hi, Find a cheaper price on eBay.co.uk or amazon.co.uk and we will happily beat that price :-) . As for the police Minifigure, only 1 is included per box as LEGO has announced, making it extremely hard to get. Also he doesn’t really fit in with the series in my opinion anyway :-/ . By in United Kingdom,

Still price gouging when your selling the most common figures in the box for £6 each. Double the RRP.

By in Ireland,

@Colby please stop doing that “like this comment” thing.

I’d be interested in a full box but it’d probably be expensive. I agree that the police officer doesn’t really fit in with the series as they’re nearly all costumes figures, and the only connection is that they’re celebrating his 40th anniversary, but since he’s a rare figure demand will be high. But I also understand why he can’t be included in a complete set as that’d mean 43 “leftovers” from each box that would need to be sold separately.

By in Ireland,

@GrizBe price works out at approximently £3.75 GBP per Minifigure. (£60 devided by 16 is £3.75) not £6 :-) .

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

So still 75p more per piece then the RRP, and your own website marks their price at £6 each when sold separately... double the RRP.

@LukeSkywalker why? Just trying to get people excited!

By in Canada,

Aren't there 17 figures in a full set, not 16...

Gravatar
By in Canada,

Let's be clear, there will be thousands upon thousands of boxes produced, so yes the City Policeman will be rare, but not that rare. A full set is 17, not 16. I truly hope that Lego is not going to get into this chase game. A gold chase figure in Series 10 was fine, but not in a regular series...

By in Spain,

@MinifigureMaddness.com I know that there is only one Policeman per box, but why don't you offer the two possibilities? I mean, XXX € for the 17 minifigures of the Series 18, and €64,99 for the uncomplete pack of 16 minifigures of the Series 18.

I am a regular buyer on your site, but the an uncomplete series really disappoints me...

By in Australia,

There's a few independent toy stores that sell full boxes in Australia for less than RRP. I plan on buying a full box, taking a full set of 17 and then giving the rest away to a local children's hospital. It's an expensive way to get a complete set but at least I won't be feeding the price gougers and I get to feel good about myself in the process.

I realise this may make as much sense as a polar bear wearing glasses but am I the only one who thinks this series looks a bit.................... childish??

By in United Kingdom,

@Strymon: Thats a good plan. May do that with my local kids hospice if I can find a box cheap and the spare cash.

@xcrossx: Perhaps, but I like the slightly cartoony aspect of some of the characters.

By in United States,

@Colby It doesn't get anybody excited and it doesn't add to the conversation. It's just spam.

By in Germany,

@Colby: what's to get excited about? This CMF series has got to be one of the worst ever. Mostly these crappy "costume" figures plus just one interesting one. And that one TLG decided should only be available once per box. WTF?
What a BS move, only guaranteed to make lots of customers and collectors angry and unhappy.

No wonder LEGO sales are down. When I see their latest policies, i.e. drastic price increases across the board, lots of mediocre sets, plus such BS actions like with the police officer minifig, I wonder if the strategists in Billund still have all their marbles where they should be.
TLG is really turning me off the hobby recently, and from what I gather, I am by far not the only one. What's wrong with those guys?

By in United States,

Seems there is a good chance to get Dragon Guy 4, per box.

Gravatar
By in United States,

@AustinPowers: HOW? I think this is going to be another huge success, just like the Disney series.

Gravatar
By in Germany,

@Colby: if it is going to be a "success" like the Disney series, then I wouldn't get my hopes up either. After all, the Disney series (at least over here) was a shelf space hogger, as were/are the two TLBM series. No one seems to care for CMF series where one measly figure is 3.99 Euro. Small wonder, as that price is so ridiculous for what you get, that TLG really deserves the declining sales numbers they present. Perhaps one day they will learn that customers will not tolerate infinite price gouging!
Remember, the first CMF series were 1.99 Euro each, now it is double. 100% price increase in just a few years - as if people would earn 100% more. *shakeshead*
