By in United Kingdom,

Wow... I don't like superheroes but that is AWESOME!

Gravatar
By in United States,

This looks really rad!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

spider-gwen looks terrible... :(

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

FINALLY a venom in anything other than minifigure scale.

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

50 Dollars, 600 pieces? Am I being trolled here? That sounds like amazing value for money, although the jury's out on it until the set is in stores.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Ooooooooh, Spidey-Gwen! Honestly I really don’t care for the mechs.

Gravatar
By in Ireland,

Is this based off the new Enter the Spider-Verse movie?

Gravatar
By in United States,

^ Doesn’t seem so; Miles isn’t even in it. I think it’s just a case of LEGO making up their own scenario - kind of like Hulk vs. Red Hulk.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

That Venom 'mech' looks great and doesn't seem to have sacrificed appearances much for playability... could well work as a UCS-quality Venom statue that wouldn't look too bad alongside the Hulkbuster, I think!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Looks like some cool new web pieces.

Gravatar
By in United States,

That Venom is INCREDIBLE!

Gravatar
By in United States,

That Venom mech is absolutely incredible. Spider-Gwen also looks awesome! I hope they also make a civilian Gwen Stacy at some point. We're also finally getting a new Spider-Man figure instead of the same old one they've been reusing since 2012, and the new web pieces look really cool!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Spider Mech is kind of dumb... but Venom is awesome! And the long awaited Spider-Gwen to!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Not into superheros either but that Venom mech is creepy, crazy cool! It can attack my city any day :)

Gravatar
By in United States,

Looks great, I wonder if the Venom minifig can fit inside the "mech"...

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Not sure about Spidey's mech, but the big Venom looks awesome. Think its more of an 'oh no, Vemon has grown huge!' then a mech in his case. Spideys looks a little too 'cobbled together from spare parts' to me however.

I mean, are those wheel arches making his high heels??

Gravatar
By in Germany,

Is Spidergwen missing every single spiderweb-detail on her costume? Inside of the hoodie is understandable, but arm printing would have made so much sense. 50 bucks would be pretty amazing for two complete mechs and 4 minifigs.

Gravatar
By in United States,

re-do the Venom mech in green, get a little Cthulhu vibe going on . . . ^_^

Gravatar
By in United States,

Everyone’s commenting on the Venom mech and Spider-Gwen, but I see a new Spidey with updated printing and dual molded legs :)

Gravatar
By in United States,

Not really into the whole mech concept behind the set, but they do look good.

I have to say that I'm a bit underwhelmed by the Spider-Gwen minifigure though. For being on so many fans' most-wanted list, they could have put a bit more effort into it.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Woohoo! A mech! Lego doesn't make enough of those!

Great deal thought.

Gravatar
By in United States,

New Spidey, Venom, and Spidergwen?
YES
IM AM SO GETTING THIS
YESYESYESYESYESYES

Gravatar
By in United States,

Venom mech is great! Everything else is dumpster fire.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Fantastic set, i love the venom mech, WOW on so many levels, and finally a spider Gwen:
My spidey sense says i, ll be having this..

Gravatar
By in South Africa,

The Brothers Brick reported the set no. and name to be 76115: Spider-Man Mech vs. Venom Mech.
Not sure where they got that from. Then again, they call Spider-Gwen "Ghost Spider"; so I guess I'll take their reporting with a bit of skepticism. I'm still gonna get the set though

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I don't care about where it's come from or why this set is being made, I love it. I've been wanting a Venom for a while and had missed out on previous sets with him in. This one makes up for that! Particularly like the new web pieces.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Is that a new Spidy minifigure, or is it Homecoming style?

Gravatar
By in United States,

@randyhoar, not sure about the number or name, but Ghost Spider is definitely accurate. That’s her recent new title, including in the upcoming animated Marvel Rising franchise.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I usually don’t like this type of set, “but this....does put a smile on my face...”

Gravatar
By in France,

they stopped printing legs for super heroes? this theme used to have some of the coolest figs. I'm building justice league sets from 2017, the figs are amazing.

well, the giant venom is actually cool.

Gravatar
By in United States,

New Spiderman web molds? Yes please! I also like the design of the mechs.

Gravatar
By in United States,

First a Bat-Mech is announced, and now they reveal a Spider-Mech is in the works.
My Pattern-Sense is tingling...

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

cool mecs. cool price too

Gravatar
By in United States,

Woho, that's a nice build (for a superhero set)

Not that I hate superheroes, but the builds are usually pretty meh

Gravatar
By in United States,

I AM LOVING THIS! That new Spider-Man figure is such a breathe of fresh air from the old variant. The new Venom figure looks great, and Spider-Gwen looks good. I personally would have preferred Miguel O’Hara (Spider-Man 2099) but she will suffice. Spideys mech looks cool but that Venom though! It could almost pass off as a giant version of Venom, like he’s been “Hulked out” or something weird like that. 2019 looking good from the Super-Hero department!

Gravatar
By in Norway,

This, Voltron and the three first revealed TLM2 sets makes my bank account very happy! Money saved.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Wow, amazing value for $50! I will definitely be getting this. Just noticed I have no non-MCU Marvel sets apart from the Mighty Micros in my collection. Mech and Spider-Gwen look great!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Venom Mech looks great, Spider Mech less so. Cool to finally see a Spider Gwen, although I would've preferred a few more colored highlights. Kind of disappointed that they didn't update Aunt May to one of the younger versions from the cartoons or MCU.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Two for two on superhero mech sets with weird antagonists; neither Poison Ivy or Venom seem like mech types, and it seems more likely that their “mecha” are biological in nature.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Why is there splotches of red on Venom? I hope it's not meant to be there. Is it a reflection? Since when has Lego had bad photography?

Gravatar
By in United States,

That can’t be the final version of Spider-Gwen. ...Looks really bland.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Another Aunt May? Huh. Okay.

Venom looks awesome, though.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Amazing Venom mech! Day one purchase for me once this comes out.

Gravatar
By in Norway,

Spiderman - Venom - Mech - Monster - And a Hoverboard.
Yes, this set is awesome.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I am SO ready for marvel sets based on comic book or original ideas and not the movies.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Love all the elements here (especially those Spidey web-cuffs) and Venom looks fantastic!

Don't like Spider-Gwen (unless it's another version of this character).

She's missing alot of that pink/magenta coloring on her arms and inside the hood. That's the signature look for her. I understand the cost on printing within the hood but the arms and some on the torso should have the spider webbing.

Gravatar
By in United States,

SPIDER GWEEEEEN! :D This is awesome, I Love it yeeeeeeeee!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Venoms mech looks amazing! Spider Gwen looks great! Love the new printing on Spider-Man! The new web pieces are cool!

All these cool new features, and it’s also cheaper than Lego would typically do. Am I being pranked?

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Web cuffs makes more sense than what I thought for that element. Although a web phone would still be cool.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Well, I feel bad for poor Spiderman as his mech looks small. However, that being said, the Venom Mech looks awesome as well as the figures. It's been pretty long since we got a Venom figure, Aunt May is finally in a cheaper set, Spiderman appears to have a new design and we finally get a new Spider Gwen figure (she's one of my favorite alternate versions of Spiderman). All told, I might have to get this one next year, as it's just so awesome. I will probably try to figure out a way to mod Spidey's mech into one for my custom character. I wonder what other reveals will come...

Gravatar
By in United States,

Hm, Spidergwen looks pretty much identical to her videogame appearance. I wonder...did Tt Games get information on her really early, or did LEGO use their design?

Gravatar
By in United States,

How come there is a spiderman mech coming out at the same time as a batman mech? And both come with a villain mech! What is this??

Gravatar
By in United States,

To everyone complaining about the lack of arm printing on Spider-Gwen/Ghost Spider: on just about every version of her costume that i’ve seen, the web pattern in question is located in the armpit and extends along the inner bicep, usually terminating somewhere on the inner forearm.

Now, i don’t know if y’all have noticed or not, but Lego have NEVER ONCE done any printing of any sort in that area, because:

A: it’s impossible under current manufacturing techniques.
B: even if it were possible, the surface area is so small, one would have to condense the pattern to a degree where one would not be able detect any details at all, hence, it would be pointless. That said, duel-molding could theoretically solve some of this problem, but i can imagine that the resultant piece would be rather fragile, which (sort of) brings us to:
C: durability. Assuming one was somehow able to bypass the issues presented in points A and B, how long would the print actually last? Anyone reading this who has older/well-played-with minifigs knows that no print lasts forever, especially on parts that experience constant friction.

All that aside, the only time you would ever see inner-arm printing would be when the arm is fully extended in either direction. I rest my case.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Fantastic Venom mech and minifigs in general, although Spider-Gwen could've done with a little more detailing. The Spider-mech is pretty boring though, adding to the canon of ridiculous Spider-vehicles in Lego like the recent Spider-trike with Electro. If it doesn't have a vehicle it doesn't sell I guess.

It would be funny if there was an alt-head for Venom for a Tom Hardy face.

Gravatar
By in Switzerland,

Venom mech is pretty cool but spider-mech is way too childish for me. I'm not into cartoony Spiderman stuff anyway.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Looks like the decree has gone through Lego: “All mechs, all the time!”

This set isn’t for me personally but that Venom design is very cool.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Oh my God Spider Gwen.. sadly no blue shoes

Gravatar
By in United States,

SPIDER GWEN!!!!

I hope this means some additional Marvel sets coming outside the MCU releases.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

Yeah, the Spider-mech doesn't look great, does it? And I don't think Venom's mech is meant to be a giant robot, I'd assume that's just the symbiote grown gigantic. But that's definitely the highlight of the set. Spider-Gwen isn't so bad either.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Besides the spider mech, and the price, this set is amazing! venom looks awesome (both mech and mini) and aunt may in a less then 100 dolar set, spider gwen, a new spiderman!

Gravatar
By in United States,

That Venom mech is awesome, and that new Spider-Man figure is an amazing and much-needed upgrade! The Venom looks much more fierce as well. One of the best looking in a while in my opinion!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Is this in any way related to the new Batman/poison ivy mech set? Could this be foreshadowing a series of super hero mechs akin to micro fighters and mighty micros?

Gravatar
By in Puerto Rico,

Cool!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Well? I am a bit surprised to see a comic based set for 2019, I thought it would be like this year and be completely movie? based sets. Thoughts on the set, first off minifigures. I am glad that we are getting a new Spidey, been way to long, also new Venom is nice. I wish there would be more villains we have never gotten before but maybe they will be in other comic based sets or even Far From Home sets. (Mysterio has been waiting a while) Spidey Gwen looks fine, I don't know the character so she does not interest me. Aunt May could have been replaced with? someone we have not gotten before, like Liz, Flash, Harry, or even Uncle Ben. The spider-?mech is bad, really bad, I have said I am getting tired of superhero mechs and this adds to the hate. It looks like a Mega Blocks set from 2012. Also it waste parts and bumps up price. I actually like the Venom build, sort of like Giant-man and Ares, though I like them better. Overall I think it's ok, I assume I might like some of the other comic sets or Far From Home sets better as they will probably have new characters.

Gravatar
By in Denmark,

How can the set be a “2019 set” when it releases in December 2018?

Gravatar
By in Germany,

The Venom-Mech looks quite monstrous and menacing. BUT: the venom minifigure won't fit inside, but has it's place on the back of the beast (where two control-sticks can be seen) AND I really don't like the way they made the head and mouth!! There is no articulation of the head and no "jaw-function"! That's bad for play as well as for dynamic display! And btw: spidey's "mech-thingy on high heels"...it reminds me of "Detroit Steel" another high heeled nightmare ;-)

Gravatar
By in United States,

the set looks better then the movie.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I see Venom suffers from the same ailment as Popeye. I don't think it looks good at all.

Gravatar
By in United States,

@legoDad42: touché. one thing i will note, is that there may be a smidgin of magenta close to the shoulders, but it’s hard to tell between the hood element being used and the angle of the photos. (It’s easier to see in the second photo)

For the record, i do agree that her minifig could use a bit more color. The teal slippers would help a lot in that regard. (shrugs) nothing a little e-tape can’t fix!

Gravatar
By in United States,

That Venom mech is absolutely crazy

Gravatar
By in United States,

@Spartan Ghost I think you're right, there seems to be some color under the hood on the torso? Maybe soon some more detailed images of the figures will emerge after SDCC.

Gravatar
By in Finland,

I would rather have an Aunt May mech

Gravatar
By in United States,

Wooooowwww!!!! This is the best Spider Man set ever!!!
