Animal Atlas now a tenner at Amazon

Animal Atlas was published by DK a couple of months ago and has now dropped in price to under a tenner at Amazon, which makes it well worth picking up.

The 78 page book is packed full of inspirational ideas for building animals that have been designed by renowned UK AFOLs Jason Briscoe, Rod Gilles and Simon Pickard. It also comes with 60 pieces for building four small models.

Although detailed instructions are not provided for anything but the mini-models, the builds are mostly small so it should be possible to 'reverse engineer' them should you fancy replicating any of them.

Take a look at the mini-models and some sample spreads after the break.

It can be ordered from Amazon.co.uk (c.£10) and Amazon.com (c.$17).

The parts provided build a panda, penguin, giraffe and kangaroo.

Funny enough the price on amazon.com was 13 and change until the last few days, now it's 16 and change. If anyone in the USA wants a deal on it, could wait until it drops below 12 dollars at some point.

Hmm- any sign of affiliate links with TKMaxx or Sainsbury on the horizon? Just so there isn't any guilt about going for a lower price?

Amazon now has it for $13.74 plus a $0.70 off coupon.

The kangaroo could make a nice jackal with some mods.

Article suggestion: State of instruction booklets: Am I the only one getting very crumbled-rolled-up instructions? I’ve noticed the instructions have really been rolled up in this past year. I mostly build minidoll sets. Is this limited to them?
