Next Ideas set to be available later this month

Posted by ,

LEGO China has posted information about new sets and promotions during October, one of which is the Ideas 'pop-up-book' set, which it says will be available on the 26th.

An image of Jason Allemann and Grant Davis's original submission has been used but Brickset understands that the finished model will not look exactly like it.

With fewer than 20 days until its release, an official reveal must be imminent.

I actually saw that at BrickWorld this year. I had meant to go back to it and talk to the creator of it but ran out of time. Still a very memorable experience.

Hoping the final model will come with parts to make at least 2 different stories kind of like how the Maze set had extra parts for an alternate maze; however based on the leaked figures we've seen, it looks like we're just getting a Little Red Riding Hood story.

The model is a very neat idea. I probably will not be buy it, although that all depends on the price.

Any news on the bricktober minifig packs yet?

Fantastic news! So excited for this set. It is so much more original than most of what comes out. Fingers crossed that it sees great success and that people focus more on it than the boring Bricktober packs or that silly Target exclusive.

An innovative design but not one that grabs my attention enough to part with any money unfortunately (or fortunately for me).

I was one of the supporters of this set on Lego Ideas and I am dying in anticipation to see the model get revealed! I really hope it is close to the source material.
