By in Netherlands,

€74,99 in Netherlands, of course. Why do you hate your customers, Lego?

By in Netherlands,

@coenstegeman. I'm also getting sick of prices here always being higher than in other EU countries. In Germany, most medium to large lego sets are EU 10,00 cheaper.
At least the price per piece on this set is ok, unlike the Tron set which costs EU 40,00 for slightly over 200 pieces.

By in United Kingdom,

I'm planning to get this at the weekend. Looks even better than I expected and the review has me sold.

@coenstegeman and @wilcosu35:
I completely agree with you, but I have been lectured by other members here on Brickset who make it appear to be more in the know that those different prices in neighbouring countries are completely normal, as the cost of doing business in the Netherlands is apparantly so much higher for TLG than in Germany*.

*note that I am only reiterating what was thrown at me here. This is NOT my personal opinion.

By in United States,

I’m excited for this and REALLY excited to see what people come up with for new pop up parts

By in Czech Republic,

I am actually passing on that one, this has already been an expensive Lego year anyway...

By in Ireland,

Will be buying this on November 5th along with a couple of other bits to qualify for the free mini Diagon Alley set.

@LukeSkywalker..... I was just going to say Its always a stressful time.... New kit is available with NO freebies.......do you buy now and guarantee your purchase.... or risk a 4 day wait to get a freebie...... or for some people a 22 day wait for the other gift.......... oh the dilemma.......

By in Netherlands,

I want this set so much. It's Lego Ideas at its very best.

By in United States,

This is AWESOME! I'll definitely be getting one, or maybe two!

@AustinPowers

That may very well be correct, but it's still very peculiar that Lego seems to be the only company that has to deal with these differing costs.

By in Germany,

@coenstegeman: my thoughts exactly.
That's why I wrote "I have been lectured by other members", because I myself don't believe this theory either. It's just an excuse, or else everything would need to be 10 to 20% more expensive in the Netherlands versus Germany. Ridiculous.

Indeed, and even for € 70 Lego has a large profit margin. Most sets are offered by official resellers/retailers for (much) less than the Lego online price . So just buy it elsewhere then :-)
