By in United Kingdom,

Don't mean to complain by why is the US having to purchase the set using Sterling? Have I woken up in a world where the colonies lost the war of independence? :)

(I also note this comment won't age well once you've corrected it)

By in United States,

Did the London base banks bought the US economic system? ;) It is a neat set but not for me, got to at least finish my wishlist and get my City completed.

(@DougTemplar either the Revolution or 1812.)
It's out of my price range. (Imagine that.) Otherwise I'd be going Yaba-Daba-Doo. (Mind you I have grown somewhat tired of all the licenses Lego is handling, some of them have continued longer than they probably should.)

By in Poland,

why there is no Dino ? "dino-dog" ?

By in United Kingdom,

Maybe they didn’t think they could create a decent model of him out of existing parts? Remember Lego Ideas sets can’t include new pieces, and Dino has a pretty unusual design.

By in United States,

By in United States,

No luck on the U.S. website yet - too early I suppose.

By in United States,

Cannot wait to get this one when I’m able!

By in United States,

Have tried server times to order this but LEGO site does not recognize my VIP status! UPDATE - LEGO customer service said not available until 9:00 am EST for US. Sigh.

By in United States,

Or everyone can just wait two weeks, buy 4 TLM2 minifiigures and get that awesome Marvel minifigure pack for free.

I might buy it, if they promise to release an add on set with Bamm-Bamm , Pebbles and Dino

By in Belgium,

Aaaand of course there's an additional Benelux tax of 5 euros… :( :( :(

By in United States,

Here's hoping for a Hanna-Barbara minifigure series in the future so I can get Dino and Bam-Bam.

@David 1985, That's exactly what I'm doing. It's very nice of TLG to offer VIP's an early access, but I'm not going to spend $60 today on this and turn around in 8 days and have to spend $75.
I can wait a week.

By in United States,

Part of me wants to sit until it goes on 20% off like every other ideas set (other than maybe Saturn V).

But I’ll wait for sure.

By in United States,

Too much of a difference from the submitted idea. I find it rather odd that even the press release states “Flintstones” on the mailbox, but the actual part just says “Flintstone”.

@Boettner Builds.. I get that though.. If your last name is Smith your mailbox will only say "Smith" unless you add a "The" before it to designate multiple Smith family members..

Anyway, I'm still unsure about this set.. Maybe if they have a display built at the store it'll sway me to buy..

By in Canada,

It looks great! Picked one up today and a wonderful looking set. The house, car and figures are excellent. Think this one is going to sell very well. Lots of excitement around the set. One of the better Ideas sets in my opinion.

By in United Kingdom,

Well, that's the theme music stuck in my head!

By in Germany,

The only thing I don't like about the set is the figures. For a start, Barney is much shorter than the others, so should have come with the new medium sized legs. And the heads would have benefitted from the "Simpsons-treatment" aka individual molds imho.

By in United States,

@Kinto the original ideas build AND the actual cartoon had it right, “The Flintstones”. To me that’s a minor detail, but a failed one. There’s too many misses with the finalized set and that’s why I’m disappointed with it.

By in United States,

did they ever use name flinstone in cartoon or just flinstones..... I don't remember

By in Canada,

No VIP extra points, no free bonus with purchase, hmmm what's the incentive to buy now instead of waiting a week or 3 for LEGO to offer me a FREE bonus of some sort?

By in United States,

I'll pass. To me, this is like somebody submitting the new Creator Expert 1967 Mustang as an Ideas set and getting it approved, and then Lego releasing a set based on the 1973 Mustang.

Yaba-Daba-DUD...seriously Lego? The Flinstones?
