The chick would go nicely with the grown CMF chicken!
Although I wonder why LEGO chose to put skate park in the pod.

I'm pretty sure I need this.

By in United States,

I don't usually get these "pods" but that minifig is adorable and would be a nice small supply of pieces so I will probably buy this if it goes on shop.lego.com.

Pods seem like a cheep excuse for promos usually, but they’re fine when put in conjunction with exclusive figures.

By in United States,

While I'm not a fan of the pods in general, the figure is very cute. Hopefully, it'll be available for sale.

By in United States,

Let's put it simply. I thought all the pods prior to this one were gimmicky and overpriced. However, this will be a great Easter decoration. I especially like the rabbit skate park part of it.

By in United Kingdom,

A lovely set. I'm really pleased we have seasonal sets that aren't Brickheadz.

@Haz Amen to that!

By in United States,

I love some of the silly and creative stuff LEGO has done with skating in recent sets, from Killow in the Ninjago set #70642-1 using skateboards as bigfig-sized roller skates, to this set doing about the opposite and using a roller skate as a rabbit-sized skateboard! That said, it's an especially fun surprise to see this kind of humor in a non-branded promotional set, rather than a set from a story-driven theme that's predicated on a certain amount of character-driven humor.

It's also fun how this set reuses the Penguin Suit Guy headgear mold from the collectible minifigures to create a different type of bird. I would love to see LEGO do stuff like that in the future — in some marketing materials (for either one of the German LEGO brand stores or LEGOLAND Deutchland, if I'm remembering right) I know they've used a recolor of the LEGO Movie minifigures series' Panda Guy as a brown bear, but they haven't yet released any recolors of that part in a physical product.

"exclusive"- not "eggsclusive"
Talk about missing an open goal

Squeee!

So much want :D

By in United States,

I love LEGO's seasonal theme sets.

I like this one, too.

The questions come down to:
Do I like this enough to want it compared to the other Easter sets I have?
What will it cost me to own the set?

I would buy the PODs as they resemble the seasonal Minifigure sets the LEGO company used to make every other year opposite animals or Brickheadz. It appears they broke their string this year by doing more Brickheadz instead(2018 & 2019). I used to collect all the seasonal sets each year purchasing 3-5 of each for donations. Looks like I will be saving lots of money this year as I am not interested in a 2nd year of seasonal Brickheadz.

By in Canada,

Like the ones I like. And I really really like this one. Guessing I missed out on the Star Wars ones. Not a fan of the Ninjago. Emmet’s is awesome. And some of the Friends ones are cool.
Finding this very reminiscent of those Friend polybag things with the animals like a squirrel or sea turtle. Liking the red skate color.

Nothing says Easter like roller-skates!

Eggs-ellent, Eggs-ellent lol..
I like this lego could of made the pod egg shaped just for the little set.
I think theres a chick brickhead coming out for easter isn't there?

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

...is that a tiny bunny going down a tiny halfpipe on a tiny skateboard.

Excuse me while I make some very unmanly noises.

Gravatar
By in Hungary,

But what the hell a bunny is doing in an egg? :)

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Eh, it's ok. The pods have never really interested me though.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I love this so much. That's my Easter pressy sorted. Forget a boring chocolate egg. I want this and I want it now.

Gravatar
By in Hungary,

Yeah, that's a buy.

By in Ireland,

I’m so eggcited to get this!

By in United States,

I ended up w/two of the CMF Chicken Suit guys, so I'm thinking just swap out one of the male heads w/a female head and boom - they're this little guy's parents! I'm sure my daughter wouldn't mind if they moved in beside her Minecraft Chicken Coop (21140). Plus a great scene, rare cutesy bunny, and some great pieces... for just a few bucks? Heck sign me up!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Looks awesome, the skating bunny is so random but cute! I probably won't get it though as I don't plan to make any Lego purchases soon.

Gravatar
By in United States,

The Donald Duck tail piece would have been a welcome addition here but it's a cute little set

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

A definite for me, I seem to be drawn to Pods, but limit myself to one of every generation of friends...... but will someone please tell me WHY lego didnt think... why dont we add studs to the top so people can STACK these..... so annoying for displaying..... open or closed.

Gravatar
By in United States,

LEGO34 LEGO used to make X-Pods, that was a great theme with studs on the pod.

I like this set, but I don't plan on buying anything and don't plan on spending $9 for this.

By in United States,

I personally really like the idea of LEGO using pods more and more - IMO, they are a lot better than the cardboard 'hut'/house' concept. Yeah you could say the houses looked better on display, but frankly don't really feel like LEGO. Also, you get a lot more actual LEGO pieces with the pods.

Gravatar
By in United States,

So they actually made a new exclusive minifig just for this set? I really love it!
@Aanchir: Yeah, smart idea of TLG to reuse the Penguin Suit Guy head piece. I agree with you on wanting to see them do that more!

Gravatar
By in United States,

@HUN_Sector:
I'm pretty sure Cadbury could explain this...

Gravatar
By in United States,

I absolutely need one, obviously ;)

I'm glad the chicken suit wings are finally seeing reuse, and in a new color! I hope I can get my hands on a bunch of these and have a little family of Chick Suit Children for my Chicken Suit Gal to parade around

By in United Kingdom,

A skateboarding bunny? Sold!

Gravatar
By in United States,

I was planning on buying the old CMF Chicken Suit Guy sometime soon, and this little guy has sealed the deal. It's just so cute! I love when LEGO doesn't just redo costumed figs, but redoes them in a new color or style.

By in United Kingdom,

I just saw one at LDC Manchester but wasn't able to get it. It's apparently planned as a free giveaway over certain spend.
