Full details of the May the Fourth offers this year have yet to emerge but pictures of the gift with purchase, 40333 Battle of Hoth - 20th Anniversary Edition, are now on LEGO's server.

As you can see, it contains a neat brick-built base, the likes of which are more often seen in MOCs than official sets, a microscale AT-AT and Snowspeeders, and a 20th anniversary printed tile.

You can view an image of the box after the break.

Are you looking forward to adding it to your collection? Let us know in the comments.

YES!!!!! Just too bad there is no exclusive minifigures. And I bet most of us are looking for how many shield generator coils there are lol

By in Puerto Rico,

I will be aiming to get two, separate my order into two parts depending on the limit and keep one built plus one saved.

By in United States,

That actually looks cool. More micro scale things like this would be great! And don’t limit it to Star Wars!

"And I bet most of us are looking for how many shield generator coils there are lol"
you know, that is the FIRST thing I did!

By in Germany,

So for the 2x4 plate is an "20 years LEGO Star Wars" print no problem,
but for an BLIZZARD Exclusive it was to much?

Gravatar
By in France,

Not really interested by this set. I'm more eager to know what will be the minifigure scale sets.

Gravatar
By in United States,

EVEN THE MICRO PROMO HAS 4 RINGS BUT THE UCS SET DIDN'T?????? Corruption in Billund...

Gravatar
By in Poland,

I WANT THIS MICRO PROMO SCALE

Gravatar
By in France,

Very nice. Better than the ‘surprise’ box imo

Gravatar
By in United States,

definitely picking it up (hope the $$ threshold isn't too high) and hoping for double VIP points on SW sets then too

By in United Kingdom,

@Huw: I received a flyer from LEGO in the post with details of four promos happening in the UK.

1. Hoth micro build with Star Wars purchases over £75.
2. Free Naboo starfighter with Star Wars purchases over £35 (physical stores only).
3. Free Star Wars poster with Star Wars purchases over £35 (VIP only).
4. VIP double points.

All promos running between 3-6 May.

Personally I must admit I wouldn't mind getting my hands on this micro build, I quite like the looks of it.

By in United Kingdom,

Judging from the size, this looks like it would be fairly easy to retrofit into 40291. Weird that that was my first thought, but might create a cool look.

By in United States,

I received a mailer from LEGO yesterday. Threshold in the US is $75. Tantive IV available May 4. Sale starts May 3. The Porg is one set that it appeared will be discounted. Double VIP points for Star Wars purchases that weekend.

@BrickWeed

I was told via email promo and phone call with local LEGO Store that the Tantive IV will be available May 3 for VIPs. Is this not still the case?

In any event, I love getting those little mailers. Hopefully tomorrow!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Indeed, early access for Tantive IV available to VIP members May 3. Sorry for missing that on my first glance!

No mention on US flyer of Naboo Starfighter. It does mention the poster available at US$35 worth of SW.

Meh, I would have preferred a minifig, but will still pick one up with the Tantive IV I’ve been waiting for.

By in United Kingdom,

Bit lacklustre for me. Not keen on any of the microscale builds. Will likely scrap for parts. At least its a decent size for a GWP and I've been saving my big Star Wars order for May the 4th so I won't be wasting money to get it. And will get the double VIP too.

Gravatar
By in United States,

@Your future president I agree. Also I want! Maybe can get for my birthday??

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

@Judgeguy - You won't be getting any VIP points if paying for it all with VIP points.

Re-reading, I guess you just meant you'd be placing a big order that day regardless of the freebies.

By in United States,

I love that there are multiple comments about the number of discs in the generator, comparing it to Stormtroopers Bob and Tim's Suicide Mission On Hoth.

I'm also one of the people for whom that was the first thought.

Gravatar
By in United States,

It’s cute but I don’t have $75 worth of SW to buy so I’ll skip this year.

Gravatar
By in United States,

It has my favorite thing about Star Wars: a total lack of anything created by Disney.

Gravatar
By in Canada,

I like the set, but I don't think depicting the tow cables was important enough to sacrifice the look of the Snowspeeders, but otherwise it's not a bad looking microbuild.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

Between the $200 threshold in Australia, lack of exclusive minifig, and utterly disappointing not-even-a-UCS Tantive IV, looks like this'll be a nice cheap May 4th for me.

Gravatar
By in Singapore,

Sorry!
While ‘cute’ - this is a total pass for me.
What’s collectible...the 2 printed parts, instructions and box? Had this included a 20th anniversary minifigure (or an obscure new mini), it would be a must-have.
Who is the SW Brand Manager at LEGO? Another missed opportunity... Must be a Rian Johnson clone, seeking to subvert our expectations?

By in United Kingdom,

I love little diorama things.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

This looks pretty good. Will be getting this with my Tantive IV :) Can't wait!

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

I think May the Fourth will be the time for me to purchase all 20th Anniversary sets. Finding a place to display them is a concern for later :P

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Cool! Unfortunately none of the Star Wars sets appeal to me at this time. (I don't how these things work, but I'm assuming it will come with a Star Wars order over certain value)

Gravatar
By in Canada,

looks ok, but really wanted an exclusive minifigure for the 20th anniversary...

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

I was looking forward to an 'exclusive' SW minifigure, not this set. It is not bad, but neither is it very desirable and a 'must have' awesome collectable. Too bad!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I hate being a completionist sometimes.....

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Wish there was £75 worth of Star Wars sets I’d buy but I’m not that into it. Love this as a gift with purchase though

Gravatar
By in United States,

Hi, The shield generator looks like it has 4 technic discs with a technic bar running in the middle. Held in place by two bricks with the X cutout in the middle.

By in Canada,

I'm not into Lego Star Wars, but I gotta say this is very cute!

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

.... I love it!

Personally I think a set like this is much more fun than an exclusive figure. It'd just be a metallic reprint of a human figure I no doubt already own, and with minifigs my main interest in Star Wars LEGO is the aliens.

I'm getting it thanks to ordering the Tantive IV, and it'll get a nice prominent spot in my mancave.
