By in United Kingdom,

Typically the ones I might have wanted went out of stock too quickly.

@Venunder samesies, as the young ones say, but I like that. Makes it easier for me to wait out for a new UCS set.

Also I would've been on time but I wanted to wait until the VIP points from my Tantive IV cleared, which took them a day.

There is also the 30383 Naboo Starfighter Polybag for purchases over 35€ in Germany and I got an additional 40299 Kessel Mine Worker minifig at the LEGO store in Saarbrücken.

Continues, as in... still valid?? I don't think so...
May the 4 th, 11AM and the whole event seems to be a failure again...
I was this morning in the Belgian Lego shop ( Wijnegem shopping centre), and both the 20th aniv Hoth set as the Naboo fighter were not available anymore..
Seems TLG has really some big supply and logistic problems for covering these kind of events and promotions... According to the shop employee that helped me, they already ran out of the promo items yesterday evening ( 3th of May).
Lucky the Wijnegem shop did some damage control by handing out goody bags, including a.o. R3-M2, and the Kessel Mine worker, which I didn't have already... So big thumbs up for the Wijnegem staff.
On the other hand, less and less I see the need to buy directly from Lego... Amazon, here I come... with the price difference, I can probably buy these promotional sets from the usual scalpers, and still save some money...

By in Netherlands,

They should have had all the old Star Wars sets for sale. I can get most sets cheaper shopping around. And the Hoth set is nice but not worth spending a lot of money on 2/3 sets to get while I can get more sets elsewhere for the same money.

Lego did it again !
May the 4th + Lego is always a bad thing. They just can't make it happen like should.

I was trying to order Thursday night, not knowing Hoth was already out of stock, and continued to try the whole night. You could put stuff in your order-cart , but paying was impossible.
Not knowing better, I thought Lego was having website troubles as many many people are logging in at the same time. There was also a bug with the promo's on the sale items, so I decided to wait till morning. The Lego IT team would solve the issues....(I thought)

But the website already was out of stock I think because it was not possible to pay. (about 01:00 am)

Still today it's not possible to buy more than 75 euro from the Belgium website.
If you order > 75 euro , Hoth will be added but you can't pay for it. ( errors pop up )

After noon it still was not working , so I decided to make the trip to the Lego store !
But this was even more disappointing , even less stock available and the staff gave me the tip to order by website LoL .
They also tried to give me Friends flower polybags instead of the Hoth. LoL What are they thinking ?

While shopping in the store, I saw the very last Hoth items go to a guy that was sorting his order in three separate orders to obtain 3 x Hoth.
Why is Lego not limiting the promo items to 1 account/address ?
It is frustrating to see people sell original Lego outer boxes with 6 x Hoth promo on the internet.
Lego always said they are against the money making , but Lego is only creating this .

Come on Lego , What a JOKE this is.......
A promotion that is only valid 1 hour online in reality (stock) , but it is adverted to last up to 6th of may ? (It didn't even reach the 4th of may 00:00).
2x vip points ? Sale on selected items ?
Great right ? But you can get new sets for less than this Lego 4th of may offers.......
Celebrating 20 years SW should have a different taste !

I should thank Lego for saving me the money.
Now I can spend it elsewhere :-)
Awesome !

By in United States,

I constructively complained (see what I did there?) to LEGO Customer Service about the unreliability of their website, both for the US and worldwide. The representative was very kind and receptive, she recorded the call and took down my email address. I also asked for preorder options, which I thought might help gauge supply and demand, as well as ease congestion on release dates. They know their website is bad.
The sad thing is, my dad is a computer programmer, and he could probably fix it faster than the powers that be.

LEGO's website has never functioned correctly. I don't understand how hard it would be to fix it one day. No like LEGO can't afford to hire someone.

By in United Kingdom,

All worked fine for me this morning. Treated myself to a birthday treat of the 20th anniversary sets (excluding slave 1, that will have to wait for now) Hoth and poster added.

Looks like they’ve run out of the poster in the US. They do still have the Hoth set though.

I ordered mine Friday night once 12am hit the east coast. No problems at all (yet). I was a bit disappointed that most sets were the same price as Amazon except for the Hoth Medical set so I got that and the X-wing since it seems to be getting squeezed off the retail shelves. I was wanting an exclusive mini figure instead than the Hoth thing.

Am I the only person totally satisfied? I got 100 bucks worth of legos for 80 bucks, the free poster and Hoth set, double vip points, and as always..free shipping. And no website issues for me either. Huzzah!

Poster and Micro Hoth appear to be done for the UK. No longer adding to basket.
