By in Ireland,

Just ordered the HP Clock Tower and got the HP Polybag, The Space Rocket and the Lunar Patch for free, not bad!

By in Canada,

Is it available in stores today? Or not till tomorrow (5th)?

By in United States,

It's not working in the US Shop yet. Gotta wait until after Midnight Pacific Time I guess.

By in United Kingdom,

The patch isn’t adding to the basket with the lunar lander, just the rocket ride. Wonder if the patch is sold out. Will wait for the morning to see if it’s a glitch or not

By in United Kingdom,

This and some VIP points I had encouraged me to get the Lunar Lander.

Gravatar
By in United States,

@Zrath it's usually midnight Eastern

By in United Kingdom,

You should see the patch when you click on the checkout basket, it doesn’t appear until you proceed to checkout. :)

By in Sweden,

Glad people didn't go totally nuts on the Lunar Lander on release day, was able to pick it up along with the gift (and patch)!

A damn shame LEGO didn't make it available the same day they launched the set though, it's been a nervous few days waiting!

"it's one of the best GWPs this year"

And it comes out when most of the planet got new Jurassic World sets, new City Space sets, new NinjaGo sets, the Asian Boat Race set, an the Eagle.

What new sets did the Americas get? Oh yeah just one, the overpriced Eagle....

Thanks LEGO.

GWP = gift with purchase

By in United States,

It's live in the US now.

By in United Kingdom,

@graysmith

Oh, we went nuts for it alright! It's just that LEGO had lots of stock and a working website, so good for them.

Didn't stop me panic-buying on the day... and then placing another order for more space sets today.

I blame Brickset for enabling my addiction ;-)

By in United Kingdom,

@kieran2400, interesting that the patch gets added even when not buying the Lunar Lander.
It's also a very nice touch from [email protected] that spending £84.99 triggers the £85 threshold.

By in New Zealand,

Was going to buy the Lunar Lander. Held off for Space Ride. Yesterday the patch was added to my cart. I waited today to get patch with space ride before paying. Guess what no patch now with Lunar Lander. So no sale. Thanks LEGO.

By in United Kingdom,

I just ordered Lunar Lander, got both the patch and Rocket Ride (Belgium).

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I've just ordered the lunar lander and the GWP and badge was added. Again pleased to see that £84.99 still worked with the over £85 spend

Gravatar
By in Belgium,

Ordered lunar lander mostly with VIP points and a small HP set and got 3 gifts! Nice to be able to grab more than one promo for once.

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

@hanskep . When did you see the 3 gifts?

Gravatar
By in Germany,

I just put in an order, got both the rocket ride and the patch. But it seems the Apollo lander is now on backorder and will only be shipped next week?! Not that it really matters, I probably won't build it anymore this year, looking at the backlog of sets lying around :)

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

appears the badge is now sold out and the lunar lander is on back order

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

UK website now a bit slow, and Lunar Lander is on back order until the 12th June. No patch, only the rocket ride, but that's all I wanted anyway!
EDIT: OK, I take that back, the order confirmation by email does include the Patch even though it wasn't showing in my basket.

By in Belgium,

@DualBoot
I saw the moment I clicked Edit/Checkout.

By in United Kingdom,

I tried adding the Lunar Lander to my basket a couple of hours ago before I left for work. The rocket ride set and patch were both added to my basket. I decided I'd place the order later today at work. So, I've just tried placing the order and, as a few people have mentioned, there are no patches left. I'm a bit disappointed but it's a lesson learned. If I want a Lego promotional item, place an order as soon as possible to avoid missing out.

I redeemed £10 of VIP points on the order, and so I got the Lunar Lander set and rocket ride set for £75. I have also bought a lunar lander patch on ebay for 9 quid. So I got the Lunar Lander set, rocket ride set and lunar lander patch for £84. Not bad considering the inflated prices the rocket ride set is going for on ebay.

By in Belgium,

Owing to both FOMO and an irresistible urge to get the Lunar Lander, I bought it on 1 June, though it arrived yesterday. As a result, I had to put in another order tonight for the rocket, this time with the Dragon Boat race (also due to FOMO) and a few small sets, although I didn't reach the (here in Belgium) 100 euro threshold for the badge — I didn't feel like ordering an extra 15 euros just to get another badge… Had it been a polybag, maybe I would have spent more.

(So much self-reflection on purchases! It would be of interest for marketing analysts, I guess.)

By in Puerto Rico,

I am so going to get this on the weekend as my paycheck enters around that time (I will get the last two road plates and one gray 32x32 baseplate I require to finish placing the base of my City).

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I suspect the patch has sold out due to it being added to any VIP order rather than just the purchase of the Lunar Lander.
I’m tiring of the few days in between promotions where there is no overlap so I just place two orders at the start of each promotion and then send one package back. Hopefully LEGO will tire too and just put all the promotions for each month out on the 1st of each month instead of spreading them out. We know why they do it but how many of us have enough dough to place several orders with LEGO every month for each promotion - not me!

By in United States,

This would be a fantastic set for rebuilding in different colors.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Got the Lander and Summer Celebration MF set... because they haven't released anything else in the US. Zero issues with website, GWP, or patch over here. Waiting for City Space, HP, etc.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Ok, I am officially bummed out. I thought the Rocket Ride would be available for 12.99 OR for free as a GWP. There's no way my better half it going to let me plunk down 100.00 on LEGO right now as required to get it for free. Just this week my iPhone and our laptop both crapped out and had to be replaced, plus we've got vacation coming up. I guess they'll end up on eBay and Bricklink, albeit for at least 20.00... my grapes are very sour right now lol.

By in Netherlands,

Not really going to buy regular retail sets at full price when there's a good chance to get them at 30% off in a few weeks/months.

I usually buy some exclusives at [email protected] but sadly 4-space figure pack is sold out and the 4-beach minifig pack 40344 is not being sold in Europe (yet?)

Xtra sticker pack has been sold out for a long time as well since March, 1 month after release.

Dragon Boat race is still on the option list if said 4-minifig packs are coming to EU.

Still 2 weeks for the promo, unless the rocket ride sells out as well -_-

Not being negative really, just waiting for a good chance to use my VIP points and promo in 1 go effectively.

By in United States,

For the record, just ordered the Lander and got both the patch and the rocket ride added. This was about noon Pacific Time, in the US.

The Apollo Rocket is in my opinion easily a top 5 Lego set ever produced. I look forward to having this beside it!

Gravatar
By in United States,

@LegoSolo77 I don't recall LEGO.com/Brand Store GWPs ever being available for outright purchase at initial release.

Also, has anyone ever had a GWP show up in your cart and email invoice only to not show up in your actual order? Back when they had the May 4th Han Solo minifigure GWP, it was in my cart, but the actual shipment I got didn't have it. :(

By in United Kingdom,

I really hope people at Lego read these woes, and the positive experiences. They don't realise the stress AFOLS and younger go through with these promotions only to find its seems impossible for Lego.com to be set up (knowing about the promotion weeks in advance) to work on day one. I quite often try about 07:00 (its not like I am clicking refresh at 00:00) I too was "forced" into two purchases by Bricklink (Dragon boat) I couldnt risk missing. And yesterday some stuff to get the Rocket. On the 1st the Rocket Ride kept appearing as an £11.99 option but you could not add to bag. I even saw last months Star Wars box for 0.01 which said I could add to bag..... I couldnt obviously. So in essence I COULD have waited and got Dragon + Rocket but who knows with Lego when they will run out of anything. One of the items in my cart sold out during 5th (as I didnt place my order until 18:00 yest). Now all I need to do is be in two days to make sure DHL deliver. Ah the joy of a hobby.

By in Belgium,

¨^^ Some Brickheadz sets were only available for a few weeks (e.g. Jack & Sally, COG…), so I was lucky when I found them in Billund in December, even if I had to pay the equivalent of 26 euro per box (while I would have paid 20 each if I had ordered them immediately).

For sets that will obviously be available at retailers, I have no problem with waiting (I usually do that to get a discount — latest bargain: Bugatti Chiron for 250 euros), but I cannot wait when it comes to certain GWPs precisely because they're really exclusive to TLG…

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

@Brick Dangerous
Some [email protected] sets take a long time to return, if at all.
Like the Xtra Sticker pack was sold 1 month, and hasn't returned in the last months.

For non-exclusive sets I look at other retailers for an easy 20-40% off.

I'm sure there will be more GWP in 2019 (at the very least with Christmas Season), so I'm not too worried.

By in Hungary,

Odered the ford mustang and got the nasa patch too (and of course the rocket ride).

By in New Zealand,

The rocket ship ride instructions are available now. Time to build myself one from my parts.
