C'mon Australia, put them on the shelves.

By in United States,

This is the first city series in a long time that I may have to get.

By in Bulgaria,

If/when you review #60228 please try out the smartphone-in-the-control-tower feature shown on the box. Intrigued to see how that goes in real life. Will be looking to pick up that and the people pack for sure.

Sadly set 40344 MF Set – Summer Celebration isn't for sale in European [email protected] yet :(

So much for "no regional exclusives".

@Bumblepants, the launch control center looks great, and even without a phone the countdown feature is nice, however those 2 huge stickers kinda are annoying.

Sadly no Donut Shop Opening or 40345 figure pack yet.

Cool sets! City Space is back :)

By in United States,

Quality sets. But I really want 100 or so years in the future of the lego timeline with some classic space.

Very interesting idea! Well thanks for convincing me to dig into my wallet even more!

By in Belgium,

@TeriXeri If you put 'yet' in that sentence, that's not what regional exclusive means...

By in Netherlands,

@sid3windr
I put "yet" in there because I hope it isn't exclusive.

There simply is no word from LEGO on it.

Unlike 40345 in US is actually listed as Coming Soon , 40344 is not on the EU sites at all.

@Your future president: If Lego brought back Classic Space, it just wouldn't quite be Classic Space. Know what I mean?

My daughter picked up the Mars Shuttle and the Lunar Space Station yesterday at the LEGO Store. They are fantastic. I can’t wait to get the rest of the sets, especially the large launch vehicles.

Nearly every set features some kind of crewed space vehicle, whether it has wings or not! This is probably the best City Space theme since that original large shuttle launch thing way back in the 90s.

By in Canada,

City is the series that is the least interesting to me. Also, they have the absolute worst price per piece rate of ANY series.

Hard pass

By in United Kingdom,

Can anyone tell me how / who at Lego comes up with set numbers..... in the 4034% range we seem to have a Parts pack, various themes Minifig packs, two allegedly exclusive to LEGOLAND Park sets, one is 1300 pieces, and 2 Brickheadz? How Random....

By in United States,

I almost never complain about price per part, but these do seem out of whack... any real reason why on these (large parts, specialty parts, etc)?

By in United States,

Large top and bottom aircraft fuselage parts in the space station, light bricks, new geode parts, new helmet parts, large wheels in the rover, large new molds for the "airlock/docking" parts, large new molds for the rocket bodies, big cones and windscreens, and cylinders for the shuttle and the big rockets, roller coaster parts, lots of big corrugated panels and transparent curves in the buildings, etc. The price-per-part of this line is pretty bad, but it's ---almost--- understandable given all those big parts and new molds.

This looks really really good! Been wanting a Mars theme for so long! Well done!

Ohh that explains why they were out yesterday at the Mall of America! I didn't even realize they came out at that point. The minifig pack (for $40) was there too.

@Lego34s - LEGO uses the 403XX range for LEGO Store exclusives

Many of the City sets with "Action" subthemes have bad price/part ratios. I think a lot of it is because there are so many large parts. The reviewed set that is linked, set 60225, is a perfect example.

The age range is usually quite low so that's probably why there are so many large parts. 60225 is 5+!

Looking at the sets.. it seems that you could combine most of them, since they all use the same structure for their modules. That means you could take the Space Station and add more modules to it.. sounds fun to me.

By in United Kingdom,

This city series has really excited me, I'm going to pick these up gradually because they are all so good.

Will look nice next to my star wars sets.

As was pointed out, the higher price points definitely correspond to the larger pieces and new molds. But also keep in mind that the City sets are usually the quickest to get discounts, and pretty substantial ones at that too!

So excited for these sets--first City sets in a long time that I plan to collect!

By in Singapore,

the new release of space theme sets i would say the colors are great... i love the space ststion although its seems small on the interior... the launch control is good while the mobile launcher is also great... however... it seems like an overdose of space themes or sets and the color themes changes too quickly...
