I must have been living under a rock or something because I have no clue what this press release is about, but judging by the success of the first campaign in 2014, I must be in a minority.
Anyway...
CrazyBricks is excited to announce the launch of Munchkin Bricks 2, our latest Kickstarter project!
We’re offering even more Munchkin-inspired custom accessories for your favorite miniature figures, like the Excessively Large Top Hat, Chibithulhu, Spyke’s Hammer, delectable flagons and tankards, and Shakespeare’s Pike, as well as an exclusive Munchkin card and a bookmark included with every pledge!
We are proud to be partnering again with Steve Jackson Games for this Kickstarter campaign.
Our new Kickstarter project includes a variety of detailed, high-quality, colorful collectible treasures to add to your collection, plus plenty of amazing stretch goals, but we need your support to make it all happen!

Not to be hateful or anything, but this is a weird mishmash of parts. I'm not familiar with the card game on which these parts are based, either.
Though, I wish Brickarms or someone would make realistic rescue/EMS gear. I'm sick of using old Mega Blocks components (spreader and cutter; bolt cutters; and their saw is better than LEGO's) or a horrible brick-built attempt.
Never heard of this either, but like the very tongue in cheek and cute styles. I'll check it out.

OK, I've checked it out and whilst I have never heard of the game, I was keen to support them - until I saw the postage costs. $18 USD pledge and $18 USD postage for 8 minifig accessories that could fit in an envelope!

I know this game, someone gave it to me as a gift once and I have played it a couple times. Very fun game to play (although I haven't played it in ages because I can never find people to play it with).
Honestly, if it was so successful, why has seemingly no one - myself included - ever heard of this? Even Huw, who is much more into all things LEGO than I am, has never heard of it. I wonder how they measure "success" in that respect.
Anyway, I wish them good luck with their project. Sounds like a fun idea for those who are both into the game and into LEGO.
I backed this first Munchkin bricks project - the quality was pretty good on the parts but more importantly the parts included were far more interesting on the original one.

The parts included in this second project are less interesting - too much that can be done well enough with existing pieces personally. Might back it for any exclusive cards though.

We all move in different spheres and interests. If it was something to do with sport then I'd probably be ignorant, but it's a popular card game (amongst board game enthusiasts) and I was aware of the first kickstarter and supported their Mouseguard kickstarter and that stuff was top quality. Loads of bigger companies have used the kickstarter model, see it as more of a pre-order system to gauge interest.
I'm sure dc fans will be interested in that 'helm of speed anyway'...
It's not a matter of living under a rock. If you're not into Dungeons & Dragons humour or modern card games, there's no particular reason you would know what it was.
It's a card game themed on a comic book parody of certain types of D&D gamers. (I tried putting a link to Wikipedia's entry, but Brickset redirects to the wrong entry. If you go to Wikipedia and search for 'Munchkin card game', you'll find it.)

I've heard of and have played Munchkin, but I've never heard of these brick or their previous kickstarter.
@cody6268 - if you were familiar with the card game, you'd know it's not a weird mishmash.

Are crazybricks the same company that did the retrofit arms?
@Jacob1998--yes, they are. And the Mouseguard kickstarter set, which I wish I'd known more about. Another release of Mouseguard bits and pieces would appeal to me much more than these Munchkin oddments, frankly.
The retrofit arms were IMO quite well done and a useful way to expand the abilities of minifigures--if you wanted to do that. It's worth warning that it can take a while to get fulfillment from anything involving injection molding, though.

This guy partnered with the author David Petersen to do parts for Mouse Guard which is one of the most awesome comics ever. There was a book done called Bricks of the Mouse Guard by Seattle's ArchLug https://www.mouseguard.net/book/art-of-bricks/
They also did the Minifigure size Hogwarts castle a few years back.
I supported Mouse Guard Kickstarter and he did a perfect job on all of the parts. The quality and tolerances are exact. If you want to get the Matriarch's cape, you can get it from Capemadness on Bricklink
