The latest Xtra polybag, 40368 Christmas Accessories, has been revealed. This set contains some interesting elements, including a husky, some pearl gold fences and a white leaf.

I anticipate this polybag becoming available during September or October, presumably costing £2.99, $3.99 or 3.99€ to match previous Xtra polybags.

What would you like to see in future Xtra polybags and are you impressed with this one? Let us know in the comments.

I'm glad they didn't overdo it with those white leaves!

I mainly want it for the main pieces such as the dog and railing. The other stuff is nice but I don't like having a bunch of random small builds sitting around.

By in United Kingdom,

Great new Xtra set, I suppose it might cost £3.99 like the sea Xtra set that came out in January this year.

Absolutely thrilled you can get a husky in a set under £9.99 and the white leaf is cool sota wished it had more of them

Cool. Would be good if you have a winter village. But doesn’t have any other use, unless you have a winter/Christmas theme.

The husky is nice to have. The snowman's not too bad either.
I like the woolly hat, but there really should have been a scarf piece in there - instead of the rather silly snowshoes.
The presents could have done with being in brighter colours though.
Is the star sand-green or is it trans-bright green over a grey background? I'm not sure it's ever appeared in a solid colour.

If anything, LEGO need to re-issue the 853921 Brick Stickers pack that came with a selection of signs and windows to put the stickers on. That must have been the fastest selling set they've ever issued!

By in United Kingdom,

It looks a bit like three or four days worth of windows from a City advent calendar, including the obligatory rubbish snowman. The husky has been in three from the past four advent calendars.

By in Netherlands,

Not a bad pack but most of it is fairly common to Advent/Arctic sets of recent years.

However it's still a nice "Xtra" parts selection, just not very massable compared to like the Plants/Food pack imo.

Having a Dog, Parrot, Shark in Xtra however makes me hope for more animals in Xtra sets.

I also hope the Xtra theme overall stays on (Lego.com) shelves longer then average, and yes they need to bring back to the Sticker pack as that's been sold out since a few weeks it came out early 2019.

By in Australia,

I really like it. More scenery for my Winter Village.

I want to see them do a road signs pack (which could include a bunch of road sign bases, a bunch of the clip-on road signs in different shapes and colors and a sticker sheet full of different road signs.
The last time they did such a pack was 6427 in 1999.
Yes you get a few road sign stickers in the xtra stickers pack but you don't get many road signs to stick them to.

A Santa hat would have been nice.

Aren’t we all just waiting to see this year’s Winter Village set? Or something I rather call Christmas Village? Bring it on TLG.
This little accessory set is of course a buy without any hesitation.

As a non-Christian, I don't have much use for this. However, it makes me so happy to see LEGO continue to develop the Xtra theme. I also agree witht the previous comments that the sticker pack sold out too quickly.

@Librarian1976 - maybe wreath & presents aside, non-Christians don’t have winter?

Good value but not really the sort of thing that lends itself to buying multiples. More leaves and trees would be better.

I was really hoping the xtra theme would be used to fill out town scenes with detail elements that would needed is multiples. But there's only so many snowmen and dogs I can use (and I already have a few). I hope they include more multi-use elements instead.

It's a shame they didn't do one for Halloween or Thanksgiving before jumping right to Christmas.

Nice little add-on none the less.

The Xtra theme looks awesome, wish it was more available

The extras sets have had a few pieces in then here or there I've wanted but never in another quantity to make buying the bag useful to me, I have a large collection so most parts tend to be stuff I have plenty of.

Perhaps they could make these packs a bit less broad with larger quantities of what's included. I know I'd buy this if this pack had more railings and more of the white leaves and trees instead of the things I have many of from over the years like snowman and candy cane.

All the others have been the same for me and so it's not felt like enough value to buy any.
From my perspective a larger more specific range would be ideal but I can see how that's maybe not for Lego.
I could just imagine a stand full of different types of Extras bags and me filling my arms

We do, and that's a very good point.

@joefish, a snowman you actually approve of -- goodness!

Liking these xtra sets, really useful. Will pick up 3 or 4 of these to help Christmas-afy the City.

@Librarian1976: enlighten me, what in this set has anything to do with Christianity? There is no cross, no nativity scene, nothing like it. There is a wreath and a sugarcane, none of which has anything to do with Christmas. True, in the US people may associate stuff like that with the festive season but only because they have been conditioned to it by the industry that overcommercializes the festivities. And just for the record, over here neither a sugarcane nor a wreath is a symbol for Christmas at all. Christmas itself is something entirely different than all the commerce we nowadays associate with it. Come to think about it, it is sad to realize what has become of it and how people have forgotten the true meaning of it.

Love the Xtra sets but I'll pass on this one. I've collected Winter Village and City advent sets over the past few years most everything in there is a retread for me. It would be great for someone just starting a village.

Keep the Xtras coming!

I love the xtra sets because I can get multiples for my kids to use on base plates, they remind me of the old accessories catalogues and they are much better value than CMFs. I love CMFs but wish they had a mini-build for the price.

The sea/pirates xtra was excellent, I would like to see a Castle xtra polybag: barrel, arrow target, haycart, flaming torch....

Gravatar
By in United States,

I was hoping that this polybag would have had more Christmas specific pieces such as Christmas hats, a micro figure gingerbread man, prints on the snowman or lights that can be applied to some other scene. The sea Xtra set presented rarer pieces that made it worthwhile. This one does not. If they just had a Christmas hat instead of the blue one, it would have been a lot more interesting.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

Yeah guys. Everyone knows the true meaning of Christmas is unhealthy family relationships and emotional blackmail.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I think I'll get this one

By in United States,

I am a big fan of the Xtras theme, but wish this one was a bit more useful to buy in large quantities. The husky is nice, as is the white leaf and the snowflake, but perhaps the snowman could have been replaced with a string of lights?

Extra lights to decorate buildings I can use, an army of snowmen, not so much.

The trend of animals in Xtras sets is pretty exciting - it would be great to see a farm animal pack with a goat, Holstein cow, and some chickens, even if it did cost a bit more than the current sets.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

@Huw - 'Approve'? You misrepresent me sir!
I believe my description of the snowman was "...not too bad...". Just, you know, average-bad!
It is a LEGO snowman, after all. At least he doesn't have a screaming skull for a head. ;-)

I must have been feeling sympathetic for the poor fellow as the picture on the packet makes it look like he's got magical giant penguin feet!

Although maybe he needs them, as he's clearly being persued by Goober and the Ghost Chasers.

Gravatar
By in Germany,

I know a fan of the winter village sets who likes to ask me about upcoming the upcoming winter set... anyway this might intrest her and other fans probably.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I rather just buy another 60191 Arctic Exploration Team, dog, three winter dress peeps for $10 or 40262 Christmas Train Ride, three peeps, winter theme also $10.

Gravatar
By in Belgium,

They could do all sorts with this theme. Just look at the old service packs from the 80s and 90s for inspiration, but lots more in addition to those too. How about an adult bear and her two cubs? A kit for a construction site? A Hallowe'en pack? Desert pack? I think it has the potential to be an ever-green theme.

By in Denmark,

I "got Yule lights in my eyes" - as we say in Denmark - when I saw the headline. But they were turned off when I saw the picture.

I love Yule, and I am ready to buy anything interesting - even multiple copies. But this bag contains only a few interesting things, it seems. More than a third of the bricks are quite standard used for the presents and sugar cane. I do not really care for those parts. Another wreath, some food, some candles or some more warm clothes would have been nice.

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

Yeah, restock the sticker pack first, please!

By in United States,

So here's my take on the Xtra sets. I like the idea, but I'm not thrilled by the contents. I personally think they should be more focused. Instead of one or two of such varied items as a hat, a dog, a snowman, a white leaf... how about multiples of like items - Winter attire (hats, scarves), winter activity (skates, snowshoes, skis, snowboards), etc.

As for past packs, Streetlamps could have been just street lamps. Same for traffic lights. I thought the food pack was fairly good. How about a kitchen pack (plates, cups, utensils)? Stuff like that.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I would like to see extra poly bags that are specific to the sub themes or something that could be added onto one of the scenes from that year.

to be honest I think thats what I want the advent calendars to be but with neat Minifigs.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I'll be getting this because I'm a sucker for the accessory sets. Wish it had more of the unique shapes like the white leaf piece, wreath, snowflake instead of the filler basics used for the gift boxes & candy cane. A white bush element would have been nice too.

By in Germany,

@legogeek Completley with you. While the food pack had good contents, this here is to broad and as somebody else already wrote feels more like multiple doors of a city advent calendar.
To my understanding xtra should provide with a variety of special parts, that you don't really get in other sets.
Generally I think that xtras should be a much bigger "theme" with dozends of different packs in the stores at any time
