Got 16/20 having grown up with and owning about 70% of the line. These questions are quite tough.

By in Hungary,

16/20, I'll take it!

Gravatar
By in United States,

17/20. A line I have spent a lot of time working with...

Gravatar
By in Canada,

Gravatar
By in Hungary,

16/20, and there were 13 I was sure of.

Gravatar
By in Poland,

17/20! Avast ye Landlubbers!

Gravatar
By in Germany,

What about the question with the islands including skull-shaped cliffs which open to reveal treasure inside? 6241 doesnt count because it is not the skull which is opening? And even 6296 has a skull but ok, it does not open that way suggestet... :D

I read some question to fast, so i got some easy to avoid errors...

By in United States,

12/20. I like that these quizzes are genuinely tough unlike so many quizzes out there!

Gravatar
By in United States,

10/20, I don't know a whole lot about this theme

Gravatar
By in United States,

I could go for some more pirate sets!

Gravatar
By in Denmark,

16/20.
The question about the two dominant colours I did not read correctly. If I had done that, it would have been +1. Oh well...

Gravatar
By in United States,

16/20. Would have been 17 but I read the color question too fast and answered based on uniform color instead of building color. A couple of others I had narrowed down to 2 and picked the wrong one.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

17/20 Fun quiz. Would be great to see more of these.

Gravatar
By in Latvia,

8/20. No bad considering I don't own any of the Pirates sets

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

10/20. Hopefully I don't have to walk the plank.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

6/20 not my strongest lego themed knowledge,
But I gave it a go...

Gravatar
By in Germany,

Did that mean we get Pirate sets again?

Gravatar
By in Sweden,

10/20: in my defense all the pirates sets in the house were owned by my little brother and I stopped looking at Lego around that time...

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I suck at these I got 10 put of 20.

Please do one of town and city cause I think I would do decent at that.

I'd also love a lego movie one with questions on all of the movies

Gravatar
By in Canada,

Not taking this quiz but I rather like seeing pirates out of theme like in Creator, Lego Movie, and Ninjago.

Gravatar
By in United States,

14/20. I'm surprised how many I knew for sure - it was a tough quiz!

Gravatar
By in United States,

I got a 15 out of 20. My highest score on a trivia challenge on Brickset. I guess I know my Pirates! Lol.

Gravatar
By in United States,

13/20. Not bad, all things considered.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Pirates were one of my favorite themes as a kid. I wish they'd do more with the classic Pirates theme. There was a great Lego Ideas set called The Pirate Bay that got TONS of votes super fast, record-breaking demand. I hope Lego chooses to make it, it would be nice to have a large Pirates set once again, and would look great opposite the good-guy structures from the brief Pirates stints they did in 2009 and 2015.

Gravatar
By in United States,

16/20, not too bad. I missed the question about what was missing from the captain that replaced redbeard, and I forgot what crossed weapon was on the imperial flag (oops, I should have known that). I remembered wrong what year pirates came back, and I had no idea about the chess set (last question)

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

The first trivia quiz I could actually take part in as all the ones before didn't work on my hardware.
Got 10/20 which pleasantly surprised me as I never had any Pirates sets. :-)

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

15/20 not bad considering the only pirate related sets I have are POTC

Gravatar
By in United States,

I liked the King Katuunko false answer. My Star Wars knowledge helped make up for a lack of Pirates knowledge.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Eeesh. My score was so bad I don’t even want to publish it. Let’s just say it was > 4.9 and < 5.1.

Yeah... pirates is not my specialty. Now put a Lego DC quiz up there then I’ll be a solid 100%.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

17/20 - annoyingly I changed one of my answers before submitting from the correct one to the wrong one :(

Gravatar
By in Australia,

I got 14 out of 20. It's not great, but I can live with that.

There were less skull-shaped cliffs hiding treasure than I thought there were.

Gravatar
By in United States,

That was fun! I wish they would bring back some pirate themed sets....or maybe another advent calendar???

Gravatar
By in Japan,

19/20. PLEASE, Bring Pirates Back!

Gravatar
By in United States,

12/20. I thought it was uniforms not structures for that question regarding color. DOH.

Gravatar
By in United States,

10/20. So I guess even with looking up the answers I am still only half way there...

Gravatar
By in United States,

Sweet! I got 20/20. The only one I wasn't totally sure one was the first question. I've not heard the Admiral referred to as Admiral Woodhouse before. A couple I had to think about.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I did horrific. Terrible. Disastrous. I am definitely not a pirate pro. I got 2/20. Anyone who wants can laugh. But like I said I don't know very much bout the pirates theme. Or at least not many small details. But hey, you are always learning.

Gravatar
By in France,

11/20 only. All this is so far and deep in my memories :) and some questions were quite easy!

Gravatar
By in Greece,

17/20. So proud!

Gravatar
By in United States,

I scored 15 out of 20, but in hindsight I didn't read as carefully as I should have. I ought to have gotten at least 18 right. Ah well. Pirates succeed in ending my dark ages and I've been collecting Lego products since discovery quite by accident in 1993 with the beauty of the high seas that is the 6286 Skulls Eye Schooner. I worked hard to bring that home and followed it shortly after with the 6277 Imperial Trading Post. Sets in those days were easier to save for as they stayed in shops much longer, years even, than modern sets that can disappear in just a few months.

By in Croatia,

As a kid I loved original Pirates theme! To me Imperial Soldiers were French soldiers, Imperial Guards were Britons and Armada were Spaniards. Captain Roger were and is legendary minifig! Peg leg, hook, hat with scull, epaulette and, most iconic, "heavy" printing on head - beard, eye patch, hair. Love it!
14/20 didn't know newer stuff

Gravatar
By in Singapore,

13/20. Wow, 30 years. I feel so old. Pity there are no Pirate sets this year. Makes me regret missing out on 70410 Soldiers Outpost, but I don't have space for anymore Lego sets anyway so what the heck. It was a great theme while it lasted.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

10/20 - Pirates aren’t a theme I know much about, so pretty pleased with that.
Great questions.

Gravatar
By in Hong Kong,

15/20, really not know the details of characters name

Gravatar
By in Spain,

14/20 I wish imperial armada to make a comeback

Gravatar
By in Italy,

19/20. AAAARGH, that octopus!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Oh, 14 / 20! :D Given that Pirates was over before I got interested in Lego, and any knowledge I have of the theme was only picked up later, I'm pretty satisfied with that score ^^

(The ones I got wrong, if anyone was curious were: functioning navigational instrument; sets in 1990; largest number of pieces; date of the first female minifigure; Imperial flags; and chess set error.)

Gravatar
By in Canada,

20/20! Dang! Total luck, since I completely guessed on at least four of them. LOL! Always loved the Pirates line though. Very sad that some of the best sets came out during my Dark Age. :(

Gravatar
By in Australia,

Why were no Pirate sets released this year ? 30th anniversary and 4 years since the last releases, seems like a missed opportunity to cash in on AFOL nostalgia and demand.

Gravatar
By in Norway,

14/20 so OK, some really good (difficult) questions!
Thanks for another excellent quiz :)
I think I did a little better on the WW/HP one and I love both themes, but the only subject I can hope on getting 20 right is animal moulds so please make one in the future :P

Gravatar
By in United States,

I got 10/20!

Gravatar
By in France,

16/20 and read the colours question wrong too. the skull question is vicious because of loot island

Gravatar
By in Canada,

I got 22 out of 20.
I know everyone was eagerly waiting to hear how someone they don’t know did on this quiz and are almost as impressed with me as I am with myself.

Gravatar
By in Denmark,

11 of 20.
I miss my 1989 Admirals

Gravatar
By in Australia,

Does anyone known when the next quiz will be?

Gravatar
By in Australia,

I have always disliked the gold coins, and after my answer was incorrect I dislike em even more!

Gravatar
By in United States,

9/20. Worst trivia performance yet. I was always a space kid, as my name here might suggest.

Gravatar
By in United States,

17/20. Missed the 1990 question (for shame), and the last two. Having 6271 Imperial Flagship on the table might've helped with inspiration.

Gravatar
By in Germany,

Yeah! Full score xD Not going to expect that somehow, but well it's actually a very small theme^^ (at least for it's status as one of the 4 primary System themes)

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

18/20 :)

Gravatar
By in United States,

16/20 Great variety of questions! Some tricky ones in there as well!

Can we get a Wild West trivia next?

Gravatar
By in United States,

15/20 Changed a couple of my choices to the wrong answer. Should've been 17/20. Oh well. Love the series and finally got the Black Seas Barracuda this spring. I remember eyeing it longingly back when the series first came out. Ah memories.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

15/20 my best one yet!!

Gravatar
By in Portugal,

19/20.
In the second question one of the options is the name of two different objects...

Gravatar
By in United States,

19/20. I know my LEGO Pirates, but chess is another story, lol.

Gravatar
By in United States,

18/20, only looked up one answer and got lucky on a couple. I love the Pirates theme, too bad all the specialized pieces and cloth/string will hamper any further production in the future...

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

3/20, clearly not a theme I know a lot about. :)

Gravatar
By in Sweden,

16/20. Awesome, thanks Brickset!
