What should the next Ultimate Collector Series set be?
Posted by CapnRex101,
75252 Imperial Star Destroyer was confirmed last week, joining the superb Ultimate Collector Series. LEGO has released more than thirty sets within the range and will presumably continue this pattern during 2020. Naturally, speculation about future sets has already begun!
We are therefore inviting Brickset readers to answer the following question in the comments: what should the next Ultimate Collector Series, or Master Builder Series, set be? There are numerous possibilities and the most popular suggestions will comprise an upcoming poll.
Any potential Star Wars direct-to-consumer sets are being taken into consideration, including Ultimate Collector Series models, Master Builder Series sets and undefined products, such as 75244 Tantive IV.
We look forward to reading your responses!

Master Builder Series: Jedi Temple
UCS: A-Wing
A Wing!
J-type 327 Nubian royal starship !!
I want a MBS Yavin IV, somewhere around 200$ with the temple itself and some starfighters at the same scale as the Cloud City Slave I.
Figures could be modern versions of:
- Ceremony Han, Luke and Leia
- Chewy
- Mon Mothma
- Other generals
- Generic pilots
- Generic rebel troopers
UCS: Home One
MBS: Jedi Temple
AT-AT, or Juggernaut (Clone turbo tank) or some another massive ground vehicle / machine definitively.
Minifigure Scale Jabba's Sail Barge or AT-AT!
I think that UCS/MBS should branch out into the prequels. I could see a Venator Republic Attack Cruiser or a Consular Cruiser being a good UCS set (while a Nubian would be nice, I also can't see them using the right color).
For a Master Builder Series, a podracing set would be a good prequel location. Something similar to 7171 Mos Espa Podrace, but with some actual stands and spectators. Or a lower levels of Coruscant playset based on Episode II could also be cool.
I'm surprised how little has been done with the new trilogy as well as the prequels. We have a couple UCS ships from the prequels. I'd like to see a TIE Silencer, I think that would be a good display.
Minifigure scale Death Star
They seem to be just aiming for ever more expensive sets, 75060 was £179 rrp now we are at £600+ so I won't be bothering, plus they are getting so big you need to set aside entire sections of a room just for one model (as houses are getting built smaller not bigger). I think the UCS label will be for huge publicity grabbing expensive sets and MBS for larger playsets going forward.
Ebon Hawk with both crews.
UCS: long list: Venator Star Destroyer, A-wing, Naboo Fighter, Jedi Interceptor, Droid Control Ship, Republic Gunship, T-70 X-wing
UCS: short list: A-wing, Republic Gunship
MBS: long list: Starkiller Base, Droid Control Ship, Scarif Tower Complex, Assault on Crait, D'Qar Base, Geonosis Arena
MBS: short list: Starkiller Base
UCS: AT-AT/AT-ATC, Death Star (a full round set with parts to modify into the second version)
Master Builder: AT-AT/AT-ATC
Regular sets: Motorized AT-AT, AT-ATC, Weapons Factory (a good location that can be used for multiple events), Rebel Base.
My favourites of the line are the three minifigure scale vehicles, so I'd love to see a minifigure scale AT-AT.
It's about time we get a Yavin IV model.
Master Builder Series: Geonosis Arena, Yavin IV
UCS: A-Wing, Ebon Hawk
I'd move a MBS Scarif imperial base or a Geonosis arena, but it probably will never exist ...
A UCS Venator would be awesome !
If I could choose, I would want either Kylo Ren's or Krennic's shuttle. 10212 is one of my favorite sets, I would love to see another shuttle on the same scale. Also, we would have the first UCS based off the new movies.
A DECENT Battle on Hoth would be nice too, with a proper base, shield generator and at least one AT-AT and a good number of snowtroopers this time.
I'd love to see some color return to the line. I just feel that bley, black, and dark bley have ruled the day. For that reason, I'd love to see a landscape set called "Hive of scum and villainy: The Mos Eisley Spaceport" set;
or possibly a nod for those from the second generation of movies based around The Tri-Bubble Bongo Gungan Submarine. Imagine having a 1,000 piece Gungan sub that comes with a 1,000 piece Opee Sea Killer (Angler Fish). The blue of the sub is what I keep thinking about. Plus, a new Jar Jar ;) that can maybe be placed into the Angler Fish mouth :p
Jabbas Palace with rancor pit, mbs yavin 4 or jedi temple
UCS AT-AT please!!
Mustafar, specifically the Battle of Heroes.
UCS Ebon Hawk, let's show the old EU and KotOR fans some love.
Mos eisley cantina!
I'd like to see a range of creator expert size modular buildings based on Coruscant locations that can be connected vertically as well as horizontally. Each set coming with a selection of minifigs of minor characters that we wouldn't get elsewhere.
MBS needs to be a prequel trilogy set updating a dozen minifigures that were only in a set or two during their original release, along with 3 or so new minifigures. Going to steal someone else's comment and say Jedi Temple.
UCS needs to be a ship that they haven't done yet, and no minifigures please. Going with the obvious and saying A-Wing.
1st A-Wing to complete the Rebel Fleet
2nd AT-AT with a piece count above 4-5k, preferably with smooth surfaces :)
Nebulon-B Frigate, without doubt.
MBS : Jabba’s Palace is the obvious next candidate to me as it’s self contained location with mutiple rooms and scenes to recreate, many characters, and it’s original trilogy
(and let’s be honest, the reason the vast vast majority of UCS sets are original trilogy is because more people care about them, so they sell better! If you only read comments on YouTube or brickset etc, of course there’s hardcore outcry for prequel trilogy UCS, but unfortunately that group only makes up a small portion of the customers)
An UCS A-Wing is long overdue. Might even be a way to do this without it costing a gazillion bucks, just like the UCS Jedi Starfighter.
Also, there are some great Nebulon B/ Medical Frigate MOC's, which could easily be retooled into an official model.
Another cool concept would be a Droid Control Ship, with sections opening up to reveal (microscale) scenes from the film(s).
Ucs: at-at
Mbs: jabba’s palace with rancor pit / trade federation lucrehulk class battle ship
A new sculpture would be nice. A large bust of Shaak-Ti or Jango Fett would be nice.
When it comes to vehicles, something that hasn’t done before.
If they decide to do another remake, I think it would either be the Naboo Starfighter or the Death Star II (fingers crossed!).
If they make something new, I would guess it to be the Mos Eisley cantina, Republic Gunship (PLEEASE!), Luke's Landspeeder (which would be weird, given that next year they're releasing a Minifig-scale one), or Rey's Landspeeder (given the huge popularity of that vehicle in the "AFOLs that builds huge Star Wars vehicles" community).
Knowing LEGO, however, we will be sideswiped.
I would like to have some nice closed base with corridors and command center with some towers outside. Like castle sets just for star wars with more details :)
A UCS A-Wing is long overdue, given that we've already had repeats of some vessels.
A Twin-Pod Cloud Car in Dark Orange would be neat too, but I'd much rather have the A-Wing.
As for MBS, the Geonosis Arena is a good idea, as would be the front section of the Yavin 4 Temple Base.
I would like it to be CHEAPER
UCS AT - AT in May, followed by an UCS Imperial Shuttle in October
Buildable Jar-Jar Binks
UCS Venator-class Star Destroyer: $500-$600
- 1 Clone Officer, 2 Clone Navigators, 2 Clone Gunners, Admiral Yularen, Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi
- 1 Large Venator-class Star Destroyer, 2 mini ARC-170 Fighter, 2 mini V-Wing Fighters
Master Builder Juggernaut: $400-$600
- 2 Phase 2 Kashyyyk ARF Troopers, 2 41st Elite Corps Clone Trooper, Commander Gree, Quinlan Vos, Yoda, 3 Wookie Warriors, 5 Kashyyyk Battle Droids
- 1 Large Juggernaut Turbo Tank, 2 to-scale AT-RTs, Dwarf Spider Droid, Wookie Turret and Defense Barrier, Kashyyyk Landscape and Foliage
Definitely something from the Clone Wars, perhaps a Republic Gunship or a Venator? Or a V-19 to go more obscure - I'd buy that in a heartbeat!
AT-AT!
Nebulon B Frigate, droid control ship,
UCS: AT-AT and TIE Bomber
MCS: Scarif
I'd love to see either an AT-AT or Nebulon-B escort frigate if one could be made to LEGO's standards (structural integrity with the frigate's design must be tricky).
I wouldn't say no to a new Imperial Shuttle but I acknowledge my desire there is slightly selfish, I didn't get back into LEGO until long after it had retired and it's currently going for over twice its initial price here in the UK.
Clearly an unpopular opinion given the other posts but I don't think I'd be all that bothered with a UCS A-Wing. It's never created the same awe for me as other amazing designs such as the X-Wing or B-Wing. I suppose if they do an A-Wing next that means I could better justify the new ISD to myself which I don't have the space for at all but would love to own.
Things that could be done in a 150-200 range. The smaller ships would be interesting to have again... A-wing is an obvious choice or even the Speeder Bikes.
A Resistance X-wing would be nice, but perhaps derivative.
Going bigger, how about Kylo Ren's Command Shuttle, a Republic Gunship or AT-AT (to go with the Snowspeeder).
I’d really like a UCS A-Wing. It’s my favorite Rebel starfighter and I’d really like to see a UCS scale one.
The big hurdle? The canopy. There just aren’t any parts that could do it justice at UCS scale. They’d have to make one and then get it into other sets to justify the cost.
It’s not an impossible dream, but I’m wondering who’s going to stick their neck out at LEGO to make that happen.
Even though it will never happen, I would love a "Ghost" UCS. I didn't think of the Ebon Hawk, but that would be amazing as well, even as a regular set.
What about a huge Borg cube ship!
The things I'd want the most are a UCS Invisible Hand (or a system scale set for that matter) and a MBS Geonosis Arena.
As soon as you move away from the OT you start to limit your audience.
Ignoring redesigns, that leaves:
Luke’s Speeder, A-Wing, AT-AT, twin pod cloud car, Tie Bomber, Medical Frigate, Mon Calamari Cruiser.
I cannot see them doing a land speeder or twin pod cloud car (what possible ‘features’ would they boast about?). Medical frigate would be to fragile in the middle. Mon Calamari is not distinctive enough. A Large enough AT-AT would be too too heavy and liable to topple.
So A-Wing or Tie Bomber
If we consider remakes then:
B-Wing, Tie Advanced, Tie Interceptor or AT-ST any of which would be a welcome addition.
Personally I think a redesign of the B-Wing.
The last one was not well received and there was obvious room for improvement.
It is distinctive enough
As for a MBS I’d quite like to see Assault on Endor, an updated and expanded version of 8038 Battle of Endor.
I think an MBS Mos Eisley or Yavin IV could also work though.
A-Wing, AT-AT, Republic Gunship, Naboo Fighter, Droid Control Ship
Sith infiltrator, imperial shuttle or the Gungnam submarine..
AT-AT or A-Wing. Jedi Council would be nice too but not nearly as exciting as an AT-AT.
I would love to see a ultimate collector version of The Twilight from Clone Wars
Is the UCS exclusive to Star Wars sets ? On one hand I would love for them to try something different for the next ones, but on the other hand they're so expensive that I rather them keep it Star Wars so I won't get tempted to buy one :)
Master Builder Series: Petranaki Arena.
UCS Series: A-Wing Starfighter.
Cheaper?
Ucs: a wing/ home one
Mbs: Yoda’s jut or Jedi temple
A MBS Geonosis Arena
A UCS AT-AT
Jedi Temple could be neat.
Geonosis Arena would be cool too.
As much as I don't like the pod racing scene, a big pod race layout could be cool too.
Or a trench run.
MBS: Jedi Temple
UCS: Venator-Class Star Destroyer
As long as it is properly and reasonably priced, doesn't really matter to me.
Although a UCS AT-AT would be cool
This may sound crazy but I think we NEED a UCS Dexter's diner. Think of all the cool figs we could get from a set like that!
Nebulon-B Frigate.
My pitch would be for a UCS Zeta Class shuttle (Rogue one)or the citadel tower from Rogue one.
Anything but a $600 or $700 set
Jedi Temple (4500-6000 pcs, 499-699 $)
Geonosian Arena (3000-4000 pcs, 349-449 $)
UCS Venator (4500-6000 pcs, 599-749 $)
UCS AT-AT (4500-6000 pcs, 599-749 $)
Death Star II - reissue of 10143 - Price of MiSB 10143 is really high, I prefer MiSB sets, so I could wait for reissue of this set. I have similiar situation with 10181 "Eiffle tower" (I know, it's not Star
Wars set)
Geonosis Arena. Been waiting 17 years for that scene to finally get some LEGO love.
'Nother vote for A-Wing! After so long, please let us finish our Alphabet Fighter collections!
I'd also be ok with a new Naboo N-1 or Royal Starship, but only if they brought back actual chrome, not that pearl stuff.
Whatever it is, they need to break the £1000 barrier.
UCS U-wing from Rogue One, with a full army inside. Blue Group would be nice. The best ship design from any of the newer films. Totally original and totally within the aesthetic established in the original trilogy.
I would like to see a small scale vehicle blown up in superb detail, such as Rey's Speeder, Landspeeder, or one or more Podracers.
If a character, I'd like to see TLG have a try at C3PO
Going by the trend, the next will be a $200 May 4th set. I would like to see an A-Wing for that. And then if they keep up the trend of a larger set in the fall, I’d love to see an AT-AT. And then in 2021 I would hope for a $200 Poe’s X-Wing for May 4th and an updated Death Star II for the fall. Ideally I would love to see some prequel UCS sets, particularly, Jango’s Slave I, MBS Geonosian Arena or Kamino, as well as some Jedi Interceptors but TLG doesn’t seem to want to the prequels anywhere near UCS. I hope we can a least start seeing some Sequel sets.
I'm surprised as it seems more people want an A-Wing over an AT-AT. Personally I'd go with in order of preference; AT-AT, A-Wing and then something from Prequel Trilogy (Clone Tank).
As long as it costs more than 300 bucks they can do anything they want, because I won't buy it anyway. UCS has become ridiculous.
I want any kind of set that haven't been released before. Plenty of ships and locations from episodes I-III have yet to be represented as a UCS-set. A chrome Nubian starfighter of the Jedi temple are two of my wishes.
If prequel content is of the table however, I wish to see a TIE Interceptor or -bomber.
Mos Eisley Cantina could be a sought sfter-location for the OT that could a new and fresh set idea
Not likely to happen, but I can always dream of a nice big Ebon Hawk, with full crew :)
UCS Venator or Malevolence
MBS Yavin IV
UCS
I would buy:
- Venator: it's an old dream of mine...
- Acclamator: could come with small AT-TEs, and a display of Palpatine and the senators watching the beginning of the Clone Wars from the balcony - the end scene of Ep2 would be perfect to bring unique figures in the set
- Trade Federation Droid Controll Ship: now that they are producing giant sets like MF and ISD, it would worth making one - I don't believe any smaller would turn out to be good, especially if it has an interior
- Home One: the curvy form cries for this size
I would be interested:
- Jedi Interceptor (I would prefer Anakin's yellow one)
- ARC-170
- Invisible Hand
- Nebulon-B frigate
- A-Wing
MBS
I would buy:
- Theed palace and city: throne room and corridor, hangar, and at least two larger and detailed sceneries worthy for the Duel of the Fates; with Sio Bibble and 2 queen's maids as uniques
- Jedi Temple: stairs and main hall, Council room, library, analysis room, hangar and landing pad, maybe even a war council room, with Jocasta Nu and a few unique species Jedi Council masters. Must have enough place for my 501st legion though!
- Geonosis arena: A well-built execution scene with animals are an obvious expectation, and below the tribunes there would be enough place to hide some factory scenes. Don't forget that a playset size LAAT must fit in, too! Make it huuuge, I wasn't collecting my armies for nothing!
- Invasion of Utapau: an updated Boga in a stable, while a well built "Hello there!" scenery could house a Trade Federation council with transport ship, Kenobi greeting Grievous in front of his army, the arriving clone army; with additional scenes of the battle outside (clone landing pad, speeders), Grievous's Starfighter's landing pad, and a search for Kenobi. Ohh, and it could house a unique shaped Commander Cody.
I would be interested:
- Gungan underwater city and the surface swamp ruins - a Boss Nass minifigure would be nice finally -, though unless a Gungan army is there, too, a large playset could be enough instead of a MBS.
- Ep1 Tatooine scenes like Watto's shop, Skywalker home, podracer hall and tribune (though this could rather be a series of smaller-bigger playsets)
- Kamino: Lama Su's office, Taun We leading Kenobi around, Jango's flat, cloning facilities of different stages (cloning, learning, taking helmets, balcony to see them lining up)
- Republic Senate: a huge Senate Hall with playset feature for Palpatine vs. Yoda, Palpatine's office (ok, it already has an awesome set), landing pads. Well, second reading this, maybe rather it should be only a large playset, unless other scenes from Coruscant are also included (e.g. assassination attempt against Padmé, Dexter's restaurant).
- Coruscant: ok, the Republic Senate alone might not be the best idea, but a multiple-scene Coruscant ranging from the underworld (bounty hunter pursuit) to the surface (arriving on the planet in Ep1) could be a MBS set.
- Scarif surface
- Yavin 4 temple
Wow... so many Star Wars suggestions. Is that an requirement for suggesting, or is that the only thing people want to pay big money to get?
I'd love to suggest:
- NOTRE DAME (Architect)
An affordable R2D2.
I can’t spend any more than £300.
Does it HAVE to be Star Wars?
If not, I'd LOVE to see a UCS castle completely decked out!
If it DOES have to be Star Wars, I think a large scale AT-AT that actually moves WITH motors would be cool.
Maybe do a large scale Gungan Sub or
AT-TE
ARC-170 Fighter
Pre Vizsla's Mandalorian Fighter
Just to name a few...
UCS Resurgent (FO) class star destroyer would be pretty nice either that or a UCS nebulon-b medical frigate
I‘d like see an EF76 Nebulon-B escort frigate. Or any other capital rebel ship like Home One , MC75 star cruiser...
I just want a straight on Jedi temple that is a full display pice but can be hinged open like the Simpsons house to revel the inside contents
I would like to see a Hammerhead Corvette.
MBS: Coruscant City built in the same way as Ninjago City with Dax's Dinner and 1 or 2 of the speeders.
The only thing I still want to see from the original trilogy is an A-wing. Otherwise, I'd really like to see some prequel sets, such as Anakin's Jedi Interceptor.
Nobody said either, but what about an UCS Gonk Droid?
AT-AT or AT-ST.
Nebulon-B frigate or Yavin base
Nebulon-B escort frigate.
This frigate is missing since... forever. And I'd really love to see it in UCS !
Or a Mon Calamari Cruiser.
The Ghost and The Phantom
UCS:
- LAAT/i
- A-wing
MBS:
- Jedi Temple open-up doll house playlet
- Geonosis Area
- Yavin IV
In general:
- new stuff!
- cheaper. seriously. 200€ - 300€ is a nice price range to do things.
Thinking big, Snoke's flagship Supremacy and the Raddus (with the ability to re-create the crash). Or figure out a way to create the Zillo Beast.
Thinking detailed, the Jedi Temple, or the Ghost from Rebels. Or a Mortis monolith interior.
Thinking Legends, anything with Mara Jade or Darth Krayt. Or the original Darth Bane.
Life-size Ewok.
The key factor in any of these Ultimate Collector Series sets is playability. LEGO, in the end, is still a toy company. I am disappointed by the inside of the UCS Star Destroyer set, as there are no rooms inside with movie scenes, as was the UCS 2017 Millennium Falcon. In the falcon it was playable, as well as a centerpiece for someone's table. The UCS Star Destroyer is just a very large model with little to no opening functions.
So no matter what the next UCS is, it must have playability otherwise it is an overgrown model.
UCS: Rogue One or Supremacy
MBS: Lothal Jedi Temple or Malachor Sith Temple
Something less grey. Venator would be nice or Jedi Temple
If they want stick with grey, early AT-TE which has more or less dark red.
Ignoring all the obscure stuff that would never be designed and sold due to limited audiences, I reckon an A-Wing, Probot, Luke’s Landspeeder or Speeder bike would be feasible. AT-AT would be cost prohibitive. Unlikely to see rehash of Imperial Shuttle as I can’t see how they could ever better it. Utter pipe dream would be an IG-88 or Boba Fett, but the next set will probably be an AT-ST. I don’t have the original UCS but looking at pics it could be improved with new elements and techniques
UCS Jango's Slave I or a Venator would be fantastic additions
Sorry for my lack of Star Wars Knowledge but the "Big grey one with the dark red Middle" is the best way to describe it, Republic Attack Cruiser, or Venator. At least it would have more colour than the Latest offering
As many have stated, I would love to see a large UCS AT-AT as well as a UCS A-Wing. I feel that those two, especially the A-Wing, could be great options for new UCS sets. I also feel some new TIE-series fighters could be given the UCS treatment such as Darth Vader's TIE Advanced, a TIE Bomber, and a TIE Interceptor, although I don't know how popular they would be.....
MBS- Mos Eisley
UCS- 1-1 scale Lightsabers
A V-19 Torrent
I have been waiting for a UCS A-Wing since the release of the first UCS models back in 2000. Never understood why this classic never qualified for a UCS model ... At least better than yet another redesign and I think it can be offered as an affordable UCS model.
Anything prequel-related. We haven't gotten a prequel UCS set in a long while!
It's a long list…
– UCS AT-AT (if they used those big technic click-hinge joints for the knees and that Voltron hip technique it could actually work).
– UCS Republic Gunship.
– UCS Naboo N-1 Starfighter
– UCS TIE Bomber/UCS Vader's TIE Advanced
– UCS U-wing
– UCS AT-ST
– MBS Petrenaki Arena.
– MBS Endor Shield Bunker (including Chewie's AT-ST, Ewok contraptions, and speeder bikes)
– Hammerhead Corvette (something like the Tantive IV in design and scale).
– like @legowerba said, a Coruscant City set would be awesome.
And please, please, please, we NEED a J-type Nubian royal starship!!! (Huw, you have inside connections, don't you? Pull some strings for us, huh? ;)
...And maybe, just maybe, a GIMORMOUS PODRACE SCENE!
A UCS castle would be awesome! I'd also like a UCS Enterprise (yeah I know, never gonna happen).
1st: Geonosian Arena
2nd: Droid Control Ship
3rd: Jedi Temple
Personally I prefer the large play sets with lots of minifigs over the large ships.
After reading some comments Yavin and Kamino would be great too.
1. A-wing
2. Nebulon-B
Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, and it's gratifying that there is such a wide fandom here with so many different desires.
But the A-wing is the only right answer, everyone else is wrong.
I would rather have an AT-AT with play features involving minifigures rather than a UCS-style display piece. I don't think both are possible in a UCS package.
@Alatariel You beat me to my comment by 5 minutes! UCS U.S.S. Enterprise D.
As far as the Star Wars UCS models, they should stick with the original trilogy because everything else doesn't count in my book.
What about a whole city like Mos Esley or a block of Coruscant?
UCS sets: Venator, Invisible Hand, Vader's TIE Advanced and a remake of the Imperial Shuttle
MBS sets: Jedi Temple, Theed Palace, Kamino, Geonosis Arena and Yavin IV
MBS Set: Yavin IV
UCS: A-Wing
1. AT-AT (minifg scale) - they'd have come up with some new solution for the legs
2. T-70 X-Wing - in blue/grey - I'd love to have one next to the T65s (probably will build it myself)
3. A-Wing - This seems like a sure thing. So many requests, quite iconic, lots of minifig versions already but probably not a very good seller
4. Luke's Landspeeder - the one from LEGO ideas which was showcased at the LEGO House was amazing! I think this would sell better than an A-Wing
5. Millennium Falcon - because there can't be enough! Maybe a blue/white Solo version?
UCS AT-AT (just make new joints that can hold the weight)
{power gap}
UCS Droid Control Ship Lucrehulk Freighter
UCS Venator Star Destroyer
UCS LAAT/I Republic Gunship
UCS AT-TE
UCS MTT (maybe it can hold 112 battle droids : ) )
UCS Juggernaut Clone Turbo Tank
UCS Invisible Hand
Master Builders Coruscant (something like Ninjago City that combines Senate, Jedi temple and maybe some more things, something like a base for the republic)
Master Builders Jabbas Palace
Master Builders Mos Eisley Cantina
Master Builders Geonosis Arena
I want to add, the only true UCS model I ever bought was the Slave One and I am waiting for what at least feels like two decades to get something from my list that has the UCS prefix. All these OT starfighter and cruiser (re-)releases get on my nerves lately, it's time for something that's prequel trilogy. The Obi-Wan Jedi Starfighter was just a bad choice because of its simplicity, the big cruisers and ground vehicles are more detailed and sought after since they were main vehicles in the entire war with far more screentime.
UCS Venator would be my pick. Republic Gunship would be nice too, but I'm not sure it needs to be a UCS set.
UCS: Hammerhead Corvette, Ghost. MBS: Mos Eisley Cantina, with all the patrons, and a sound chip that plays "Mad About You", by Figrin D'an and the Modal Nodes.
I already see a lot of great ideas here in the comments!
My personal favorites for Ultimate Collector's Series are:
- Invisible Hand
- Malevolence
- Venator-class Star Destroyer
Master Builder Series:
- Mustafar (Battle of the Heroes)
- Geonosian Droid Factory
- Petranaki Arena (Geonosis Arena)
I know it’s been done, but it was years ago... either a Death Star 2 or Vader’s Tie.
UCS:
- Medical Fregat
- AT-AT
- Tie Advanced
MBS:
- Battle of Crait
- Dagobah
- Battle of Endor
Something done properly :) not just price rip off
I personally would really love a Theed Royale Palace MBS :/
Or Queen Amidala’s Palace. It is time for a new Amidala minifig
UCS: AT-AT
MBS: Mos Eisley Cantina (minifig scale building with tons of figs, with speeder and dewback), Jabba's Palace
A-Wing
U wing?
Jabba's ship which I forget the name of!
UCS Zeta-class Shuttle
Already been said by alot of people, but I'd love them to do Jabbas Sail Barge or the Ebon Hawk.
$900 Jar Jar bust
May the fourth: MTT ~200$ - 280$
Fall: Nebulon-B Frigate ~300$ - 400$
LAAT
Definitely a chrome/metallic plated J-type 327 Nubian royal starship!
2nd option: new version of 10195 (vehicle carrier gunship; doesn't have to be UCS though)
But there are many more vehicles/sceneries that should be made a set (not necessarily UCS), including: Droid Control Ship, Nebulon B Frigate, Dex' Diner, Invisible Hand, Jedi Temple (exterior or specific rooms, e.g. archives, council chamber, ...), Naboo palace, Geonosis arena, Jango's Slave I (updated version needed), the Lars' moisture farm, Mon Calamari cruiser/Home One, something Kamino-based, Wookiee treehouse, a new TIE Bomber, ... tbc
I would enjoy an AT-AT, and a Yavin 4
2016 Death Star (rerelease)
2016 Assault on Hoth (remake)
2017 Millennium Falcon (rerelease)
2017 Snowspeeder (rerelease)
2018 Y-wing Starfighter (rerelease)
2019 Imperial Star Destroyer (rerelease)
2020 TIE Interceptor (rerelease)
UCS Venerator Class
or
UCS MTT
ARC-170 Fighter.
Wouldn’t a UCS Republic Gunship be cool.
I would love to see a UCS minifig scale The Ghost with the Phantom from Star Wars Rebels, with all of the main characters with updated prints and duel molded arms and legs.
UCS Theed palace.
UCS A-Wing.
UCS U-Wing.
MBS Yavin IV.
UCS motorized AT-AT Walker.
UCS Nebulon-B escort frigate.
UCS Clone Turbo Tank.
UCS AT-TE Walker.
UCS Republic Attack Gunship.
MSB Geonosis Arena.
UCS Invisible Hand.
UCS Zeta-Class Shuttle.
MBS: Yavin 4, covering Rogue One, New Hope, and possibly Rebels.
UCS: I'd love to see a capital ship from the Prequels, such as the Invisible Hand.
AT-AT or AT-ST
AT-AT is the only answer.
UCS:
Republic Gunship
A-Wing/ (any different rebels ship for UCS)
The Malevolence
MBS:
Geonosis Arena Battle
Jedi Temple
Mos Eisley
Episode III Invisible Hand. We've only had one separatist battleship, The Malevolence, and the Invisible Hand has many scenes in it that you could recreate inside, like the bridge, hanger, and the observation tower in the back that Anakin fought Dooku in.
Been a while since Lego have released a MilF... I'd genuinely though love an AT-AT
Ideally: UCS AT-AT and MBS Jabba's Barge.
Realistically: UCS A-Wing or Naboo Starfighter; MBS Endor Bunker.
If TLG ever goes for the sequel trilogy, I think Kylo's shuttle is a perfect candidate.
Star Killer Base.
UCS AT-AT
UCS Dewback or Yarael Poof bust
Literally anything from the prequel trilogy
TIE Bomber
TIE Bomber
-Boost supported AT-AT (UCS or MBS)
-UCS Medical Frigate
-MBS or UCS Droid Control Ship
-MBS Mon Calamari
-MBS Supremacy (Snokes ship)
For UCS: AT-AT
For MBS: Rebel base Yavin 4
I've seen many nominations for UCS AT-AT and while I would love to see it too, I'm afraid it's not coming anytime soon. I talked to LEGO designer (we know each other for years) who might have been one of the candidates for designing it and while he otherwise never talks about "future products", he did talk about UCS AT-AT, which (sadly) probably means that it's not coming anytime soon. He said that they really want to do it, but the problem are legs or, specificly, joints in them. Obviously, set would need to be larger than system version and they have requirement that legs need to be posable. And so far every solution failed. I asked if they know about Cavegod's model and he said that it may work for MOC but not for official LEGO set.
If we go back to he topic, I think that Vader's Advanced TIE is one of more possible options. For playset, my bet would be on Endor shield generator building. Something similar to 8038, but with bigger building and more other stuff.
OT
1. AT-AT
2. Jabba’s Sail Barge
3. Rebel Base on Yavin IV
4. Home One (Mon Calamari Cruiser)
5. EF76 Nebulon-B Escort Frigate
6. Chalmun’s Cantina/Mos Eisley Spaceport
7. A/SF-01 B-wing Assault
8. TIE Surface Assault Bomber
9. TIE Interceptor
10. Storm IV Twin-Pod Cloud Car (How about a slick, sleek, UCS price point of $100 or less?)
11. Luke Skywalker’s Landspeeder (Same deal. A bit bigger, comfortably seats 4 and instead of regressing REALLY looks good.)
PT
1. J-Type 327 Nubian Royal Starship
2. J-Type Diplomatic Barge (Naboo Royal Cruiser)
3. Lucrehulk-class Trade Federation Capital Ship
4. Theed Palace
5. Petranaki Arena on Geonosis
6. LAAT/Republic Attack Gunship
7. The Jedi Temple
ST/RO
1. Kylo Ren’s Command Shuttle
2. First Order Mandator IV-Class Siege Dreadnought
3. Hammerhead Corvette (mainly to see what the deal is with BioWare and Disney)
4. Invisible Hand
5. MG-100 StarFortress SF-17 Resistance Bomber
UCS Classic LL928
Master Builder Series : Genosis Arena
UCS: U Wing
Rogue One!
Zeta-class Heavy Cargo Shuttle (SW06-08)
Minifig scale of course, including Kyber crystal payload, and crew: a couple of Imperial pilots, defector Bodhi, Imperial ground crew (whose uniforms got stolen after the rebels KO'ed them), and some rebels from the Rogue squad: K-2SO, Jyn, Cassian etc.
Maybe something not Star Wars?
MBS would be a great place for the Jedi Temple or the Geonosian Arena
UCS at-at
MBS Yavin 4
Boss Nass Bust
Just a few thoughts...ROTJ Speeder Bike or Rey's Speeder. But I agree a massive AT-AT or At-ACT would be cool.
From the messages above, I agree a Jabba's palace would be great, or Mos Eisley Spaceport!
Anything that is not a rehash of a previously released UCS set.
UCS - I think it's time for an AT-AT next year with the 40th anniversary of Empire. I could see it being around 2500-3000 pieces running for $300-$350 USD
MBS - Yavin 4. It's far overdue at this point and would be a fan favorite if done correctly. I'd guess about $250 USD and 2000 pieces
I think there’s a growing audience such as myself clamouring for ANY UCS or MBS set that ISN’T set in the OT! Clearly some people agree in the comments. There’s so much potential for -
- Episode I - Podracer(s), Naboo N1 Fighter (proper UCS scale), Red Republic Frigate, MTT, Gungan Army MBS (yeah i’m probably the only person wanting that). Potentially a Sith Infiltrator.
- Episode II - A dual Coruscant Speeders UCS set! Any given clone vehicle, and MBS of the Droid Factory on Geonosis or the Petranki Arena
- Episode III - ARC-170 Fighter (I think this would look spectacular!), Venator or Invisible Hand, various other clone vehicles such as the Republic Gunship. Grevious’ fighter or a bust, an MBS of the Mustafar Duel.
I misread your question and thought you were wondering what BRAND other than Star Wars might deserve the UCS treatment. It's funny that while the Star Wars brand appears to be flatlining worldwide, Lego Star Wars seems to be thriving... even as Harry Potter underperforms. Is there just a perfect overlap of Star Wars and (wealthier) Lego fans?
While of zero interest to me, it appears the race cars are doing well... Try to imagine a UCS Porsche, how would that sell?
UCS : Venator (around $500)
Master builder series : 501st battle pack (around $14.99)
That’s all I want, please LEGO Please.
Turbo tank, Tie defender, ARC-170, Tie Interceptor, Endor shield generator,, Emperor Palpatine bust, General Grievous, Jedi temple, Geonosian Arena, Mtt, Mega class Star destroyer, resurgent Star destroyer, MC80, raddus, droid tri fighter, Laat gunship, at-te, and hmp droid gunship. These would all be fun but mostly unlikely
Master Builder Series:
Yavin IV Rebel Base
Jedi Temple
Geonosis Arena
Ultimate Collector Series:
AT-AT
A-Wing
Anakin's Podracer
MBS
Jedi Temple
Yavin 4
Scarif Base
Echo Base
Starkiller
UCS
AT-AT
A-Wing
TIE Bomber
Poes X-wing
Jedi Temple or Yavin IV, easily.
Luke Skywalker’s severed hand.
Scale UCS C3PO to stand alongside my UCS R2D2.
Obvious glaring admission is UCS AT AT.
UCS stormtrooper speeder bike?
I’d like a UCS tantive IV with the detail of 2019 model but in scale of 10019
How about moving UCS out of the Star Wars universe altogether?
UCS Serenity (from Firefly) - absolute 100% definite purchase!
UCS Discovery or Space Station V (both from 2001: A Space Odyssey)
UCS Dark Star (with Existential Bomb!)
UCS USS Saratoga (from Space Above And Beyond)
UCS Battlestar Galactica
UCS Thunderbirds (whole new series of UCS sets)
And if all else fails and they really get desperate, I suppose they could always sink to producing Star Trek stuff.... (cue the outrage)
The two best UCS sets I can think of right now are an A-Wing and a Minifig-scale AT-AT. If the walker's a static model, I'd consider it; if it's fully poseable, I'd buy it at some point; if it's fully controllable, it'd be a day one purchase.
I actually made a list on here of various models I'd like to see from the Master Builder series, and they included Mos Eisley, The Great Temple of Yavin IV, Echo Base, Endor Bunker, Theed Palace, Jedi Temple, Cloning Facility, Petranaki Arena, Kashyyyk Kachiro Beach, and Mustafar. Personally though, the one I'd want most of all...
Jabba's Palace. I bet it'd look stellar as a suped-up collector's model. The last sets for it were pretty good, but I bet this would be amazing. You?
A-Wing is probably the most obvious choice... it is "due" a UCS model. Other candidates I haven't really seen mentioned (I could have missed them...) are a new (Vader's) TIE Advanced and/or TIE Interceptor sets. They would make a nice trilogy of sorts with the recent UCS TIE. On that theme, I think a TIE Bomber is too esoteric for a UCS but it would be pretty sweet!
AT-AT or Eta-2 Jedi Starfighter. Although my personal vote would be for a UCS Jango Fett's Slave I, even though that won't happen because the Boba Slave I is still too recent and LEGO won't do prequel UCS sets anymore. :(
MBS: the Massassi Temple, Mos Eisley (with Docking Bay 94 & mini MF), the Jedi Temple on Coruscant or Valley of the Jedi on Ruusan.
UCS: A-Wing, TIE Bomber, TIE Interceptor, TIE Advanced X1, TIE Defender, the Ebon Hawk, the Outrider, Obi-Wan's ETA-2 Jedi Interceptor or the Lady Luck.
I'm not a big fan of over-sized ships like the Y-Wing or X-Wing because I prefer minifig scaled ones. And I already have MOC versions of the A-Wing and such that are already far better than there UCS counterparts.
Some UCS sets I would like to see are a Venator (5K-7K pieces), Mandator IV Dreadnought, the Invisible Hand, Resurgent-Class SD, Clone Turbo Tank, and/or any Naboo ships. Honestly, whatever looks good I am good as a UCS set.
Jabba's Palace!
MBS Petranaki Arena and a UCS ARC-170. If there was ever a scene that fit the MBS description it's the arena. If only the prequels were popular.
UCS polybag of the millennium falcon.
A-Wing or TIE Bomber
UCS: A-Wing (Please let us complete the Rebel squadron!)
MBS: Lars Homestead with T-16 Skyhopper
UCS Delorean, obviously.
UCS AT-AT ASAP
I'd like something huge that isn't in the star wars universe. :P I have lego money in my play budget, but nothing interesting I want.
UCS Malevolence class, hammerhead Corvette, or UCS pod racers (Sebulba and Anakin)
I think a MICRO-FIGURE scale size (like Hogwarts Castle) of Jabba's Palace & Rancor Pit.
You would need at least (2) Leia's (Boush disguise, slave outfit), (1) Lando, (2) Hans, (1) Luke, (1) C-3PO, (1) R2-D2, (2 or 3) Gamorrean Guards, (1) Jabba, (1) Bib Fortuna, (1) Oola, Max Rebo Band, (2) Rodians - different colored faces. (1) Boba Fett and can't forget the Rancor
Jedi Temple
Lars Homestead
Any answer other than AT-AT (and I do mean AT-AT, not AT-ACT, AT-M6, AT-MA, etc.) is incorrect.
:p
A-Wing or Venator
Republic Gunship, Resistance Bomber, Pod racers or what wont ever be a set the - At-At walker
They've been remaking a lot of the old UCS sets, but one of the oldest ones they haven't redone yet is the TIE Interceptor. Vader's TIE Advanced or the AT-ST would be cool to see redone as well. Also a proper UCS Rebel Blockade Runner/Tantive IV. Of course I would also love to see an AT-AT but that would be so massive that it would probably never be done.
I find the lack of interest in a UCS Sith Infiltrator... disturbing.
UCS A-wing UCS Arc-170. UCS Venetor MBS droid attack on the wookies MBS Theed Palace. MBS geonosis arena
Landspeeder or Twin Pod cloud car. I'm old school
What about Luke's home on Tattoine? Complete with droids, moisture evaporators, Aunt and Uncle, etc.
I mentioned this on the general Star Wars thread a few days ago,, I would like to see LEGO do a UCS set with a difference, the rehash of the ships doesn’t excite me anymore..
There are a lot of mystery around the Four Sages Of Dwartii; Braata, Faya, Sistros, and Yanjon. Scale models / statues of these would be amazing.
Sideshow did a solid bronze statue of these a few years ago, and they are one of the most wanted items for their Star Wars collectors, ok they only did a very limited run. But still a LEGO UCS version of these would be amazing.
These would tie in well with the return of Palpatine, considering he had one of Sistros in his private office, and hid his lightsaber within it.
I definitely think we should see a UCS J-type 327 Nubian Royal Starship. That would be awesome!
Imperial cargo shuttle. When are we going to get one of those?
Tie Defender!
UCS
1) AT-AT
2) AT-ST
3) A-wing
UCS Super Star Destroyer!
UCS: A-Wing
MBS: Not bothered
UCS Theed Palace like the Hogwarts Castle?
Master Builders Theed would be preferable.
How about the Skywalker homestead? We saw that in a few of the movies
A UCS or Master Series Cruise Liner with internal rooms, stages, swimming pool etc. Would be something different and could attract a license element from a Cruise company.
UCS Pirate ships, lots of great MOCs out there
As long as we're talking Star Wars: anything Legends would pique my interest most, honestly. I doubt that's at all plausible - and since I can't afford to drop that kind of money on anything at present, Lego has no reason at all to listen to me - but there's? So much? Legends material that still hasn't been represented in physical form at all?
I dunno, I have strange interests when it come to SW xD
MBS - Endor for me. Build on the previous sets but I really want a detailed forest scene with Luke and Leia on Speederbikes, logs crushing an AT-ST and Ewoks with wings again...I never understand why these always have to be one big set, though. Why not make it modular so I can have more forest and speederbikes if I want, rather than just the ratios/amounts Lego deems financially viable in a big set that many people struggle to buy.
UCS: A-wing, definitely, but a U-wing would be great.
MBS: I like the idea of the Lars Homestead featuring a T-16, blue milk, and minifigs from ANH + AotC.
Yavin 4, with ANH + Rogue 1 scenes.
Dash Rendar’s Outrider
Galen Marek’s (Starkiller) Rogue Shadow
Hera Syndulla’s Ghost w/Phantom (both versions)
Any of those would be a new direction for the UCS range, and each could easily come with several highly desirable minifigs.
How about some life sized Lightsaber hilts.
UCS: krennics shuttle or a remake of the imperial shuttle
MBS: hoth generator with 4 rings
UCS: Venator, AT-AT, A-WING
MBS: Jedi temple, LAAT Dropship with walker
Venator, AT-AT, Republic Attack Gunship, Jabba's sail barge, Imperial Shuttle Tydirium, Resistance Ski Speeder.
Honestly, I like most ships in the SW Universe and I love Lego - so pretty much anything would make me happy.
I've already got my UCS Venator, and Lepin offered a UCS sized Nebulon B, so my vote goes to
UCS Jar Jar Binks
9,500 pieces
1,200 Euro
Seriously though, if future UCS sets follow the precedent of the new Star Destroyer, being both oversized as well as hideously overpriced, then I don't care what UCS set they bring out next because I won't be buying it anyway in that case.
Camelot (Castle)
Mina Tiris (Lord of the Rings)... Still hoping
UCS could also apply to one off "event" models from past themes I (and others from the comments) would like a good detailed castle. A good way for Lego to satisfy demand for one without restarting a whole theme.
AT-AT
The GHOST from Rebels or something from The Clone Wars is something I wish they would do. However, it seems they rarely do anything that is not a ship from The Original Trilogy. So by process of elimination, the next U.C.S. set will probably be an A-WING or a TIE ADVANCED. Maybe in a few years we will see a B-WING or a FRIGATE, but what I want to see them do something that is not a ship, such as an AT-ST.
I would like these as UCS sets as I have seen some good MOCs of most of them:
- Venator-Class Republic Attack Cruiser
- Nebulon-B Frigate (not done before)
- Trade Federation Battleship (not done before)
- Hammerhead Corvette (not done before)
- Trade Federation Landing Ship (not done before)
- ARC-170 Starfighter
- Home One (not done before)
- Naboo Royal Cruiser (not done before)
Im looking forward to the ISD being released but would like something different that hasn't been done by LEGO before.
EF76 Nebulon-B escort frigate
Something from the clone wars like a venator first class star destroyer
Just to echo what others have said, a Yavin IV temple and/or Jedi Temple would make perfect MBS sets. Another Endor Bunker could also be a candidate, assuming it came with some additional scenery.
For the next UCS, something in a reasonable price range (i.e. $200-$300) could be A-Wing, TIE Advanced/Interceptor/Defender, or a PT ship like the ARC-170. For larger vehicles, I'd love to see a to-scale AT-AT, or a decent sized GR-75, Nebulon-B, or an Interdictor.
But if I was to choose my big picks:
MBS: Jedi Temple
UCS: Nebulon-B
I would like to see the UCS Degobah. It would be of similar size to the Ewok Village (10236-1) , which I think would be the closest existing comparison set. It would need to include the following:
Yoda's hut, the swamp, X-wing, the cave, training ground with the trees and swingable vines, plus plenty of plants, bugs, snakes, and lizards.
Minifigs would include:
Dirty training Luke
Yoda
Dirty R2-D2
Darth Vader with Luke head
Ghost Obi-wan Kenobi
I would love to see LEGO take a crack at a UCS Trade Federation MTT from Episode 1. Lots of room for handfuls of battledroids! Throw some Gungan Kadus in there as well!
Mos Espa Boonta Eve Classic, Geonosis Arena, or Jedi Temple would make great MBS sets.
"I misread your question and thought you were wondering what BRAND other than Star Wars might deserve the UCS treatment. It's funny that while the Star Wars brand appears to be flatlining worldwide, Lego Star Wars seems to be thriving... even as Harry Potter underperforms. Is there just a perfect overlap of Star Wars and (wealthier) Lego fans?"-Padmewan
I mean, I love Star Wars, I love Lego, and have a little bit of spending cash so I definitely seem to be in that market. Not surprisingly, my local Wal-Mart keeps a stock of Lego Star Wars and while the disorder bothers me (seriously Wal-Mart is a mess in its toy aisles), its such a strange contrast to walk over to the action figure aisle and see a handful of Star Wars products on the shelves (like I could count the amount of Star Wars action figures in the store on one hand probably).
I know people have been giving Lego a lot of flack over the new Star Destroyer, but when it comes to the day to day managing of the Star Wars license I just think Lego is better than say Hasbro is with their portion of the Star Wars license. Lego can create both high end collector's models, and low end sets. Sure the UCS Death Star is $500, but I can get a playset of Luke and Leia swinging across the Death Star chasms for what, $20, $30? Its all the same scale as the $500 set, and thanks to the System of Play I can incorporate those same figures from a $30 set alongside a $100 one or a $500 one... In comparison Hasbro's action figures are much more limited in that regard, one figure nets you... just one figure. Their push of The Black Series while appealing to adult collectors willing to spend $20 on a single figure, is really alienating to kids; and while The Black Series keeps improving in detail Hasbro's lower cost figures just look more and more like trash with little improvement and decreasing articulation. Not to mention how Hasbro flooded the market with a lot of undesirable figures around 2015 with The Force Awakens... how many people remember seeing The Black Series "Constable Zuvio" sitting on shelves for years long after the Lego sets from 2015 were already sold out?
So say if I was a parent who had a kid into Star Wars, I'd be going for Lego... not the action figures. Lego just offers the better value at the end of the day. In combination with the over-saturation of the Star Wars market the last five years of non-stop releases, I think a lot of audiences are growing tired of the same-old same-old from A Galaxy Far Far Away. I don't care if you loved TLJ & Solo or hated it, but I think it marked a point in Star Wars were it was obvious that Disney's "phase 1" of the franchise had done to much to fast. I personally have enjoyed all the new Star Wars films, but it was clear as my extended family lost interest that the breakneck releases of new films sort of broke their interest in the franchise. Star Wars wasn't ready to be were the MCU is at with several films per year, and I think the Original Trilogy and Prequel trilogy had trained audiences that Star Wars films when in production come out with 2-3 year gaps in-between releases (1977, 1980, 1983 for the OT, and 1999, 2002, and 2005 for the PT). The speed of releases, followed by the internet fan debates regarding the films really diluted the brand in a way I don't think Lucasfilm and Disney were honestly prepared for. By releasing years annually it I think the focus on new streaming shows and bi-annual films, instead of annual films in "phase 2" will probably help Star Wars regain some of its cultural standing.
Personally, I am kind of curious to see what Lego will do with Star Wars in the several year gap to follow between Rise of the Skywalker and the first new film a few years later... Will Lego focus on streaming shows such as The Mandalorian, Cassian Andor, The Clone Wars and Kenobi? Or will Lego instead dig out ideas from Legends and give us some wonderfully unique craft like the E-Wing or Ebon Hawk? Maybe go back and look at the designs of the Sequel Trilogy and Anthology Films that haven't been made yet? Or will Le
Hopefully something from the prequels. Like a Juggernaut, Venator, or ARC 170. Maybe even something from the sequels, like Kylo Ren’s ship or the Supremacy
would have to be a ucs AT-AT for me
UCS ARC-170
UCS (non-Disney) castle that matches the LEGO Kingdoms series, which I thought was a great castle series EXCEPT for the relatively weak King's Castle.
I'm a big fan of the Clone Wars era stuff, so either an Acclamator-class or Venator-class Star Destroyer would be great. The Clone Turbo tank or UT-AT could also be good selections. A big Invisible Hand or Malevolence would be nice to see. We've also never seen a droid control ship ever, really, so that's another one. They could even do a Octuparra droid (no clue if I spelled that correctly) in a more respectable scale than its sole battle pack appearance.
I want to see more Clone Wars stuff:
UCS V-19 Torrent or UCS Republic Fighter Tank
UCS Armoured Assault Tank (AAT)
UCS Chimera or
CompleteTheFleet
UCS A-wing
Medical Frigate!
I rescind my previous opinion of a UCS Zeta-class shuttle and have a new idea, which I think actually works perfectly if you think about it:
UCS DEX'S DINER
Like and repeat to help inform the masses :)
I think we should have a poll of the sets mentioned.
For UCS I would wager to guess at the moment either the AT-AT, the Venator or the Nebulon B would make the top three.
Does any really think the next UCS set should be the Venetor, Lego hasn't even released the star destroyer, and with complaining about lack of interior, would it really make sense if the next set was a Venetor because it will seem likely that Lego ,if they did a venetor, will value structural integrity over interior.
Wish list: I’d like a high-level display model that contains an interior of some sort aka what Death Star, Hoth, Cloud City, Star Destroyer could have been. I’d like said models to contain a range of unique, high quality & rare (aka remain exclusive mini figures).
As for sets... not likely to see what I just listed, above, happen again...not for 10 years, anyway... so, how about:
Starkiller Base
Death Star II
Prequel styled Star Destroyer
Sequel styled Star Destroyer
OT styled Rebel Capital Ship
Ghost & Phantom
Yavin Rebel Base
Jedi Temple
This discussion makes no sence, it will be a remake from something old again. I mean I understand lego, there are not that many ships in the star wars universe.
The a wing hasn't been made, and the Star Wars universe is so expansive, ships from the force unleashed, the old republic and rebels could get more sets made
UCS: Venator Attack Cruiser
A wing
Snoke's Star Destroyer
Death Star I/II (panelled)
Starkiller Base
MBS: Naboo Palace
Mos Eisley Spaceport
Jedi Temple
Malachor V Sith temple
Yavin IV rebel base
Echo Base (Battle of Hoth)
The Battle of Endor
Resistance base (D'Qar)
Battle of Kashyyyk
What would be nice is a new UCS instead of a reedition of an old one.
My suggestions are:
SPACESHIPS
- Nebulon B Frigate
- Home One
- Hammerhead Corvette
- Zeta-Class Imperial Shuttle
VEHICLES
- Luke's X-34 Landspeeder
- Rey's Speeder
So what should come out for May 4th 2020? Rumours/speculation is an Rebel A-wing interceptor
Mbs Yavin IV with ep 4 figs and rogue one plus Cassian Andor tv show
Also a home one ucs/mbs hybrid with playable interior
Mustafar for MBS
A wing for UCS
It'll never get made because it wouldn't sell well... but I want a UCS Gallofree Transport. Kids need a way to carry all the minifigs and collectors get a shell-style ship. Three top-loading bays: engine room, conference room, and a central storage area with freight containers that would "just barely" squeeze in a snowspeeder (sold separately) if you take everything else out. Yup --- it's a big ship. Carry a couple dozen Hoth and Endor and Rogue One troopers all in one place. Toss in speeder or some gimmick flyer/wheeled mini craft, and some stud shooters. But a sturdy, swooshable transport would make my day.
Definitely a Naboo Royal Starship.
MBS: Jedi-Temple, Holocron (Sith+Jedi)
UCS: Death Star II, X-Wing
Or a Darth Bane Set!!!
Need more Old-Republic Sets!!!
Some ship or setting that has at least THREE blasters in it!
The MOLDY CROW
UCS A - wing $180 £150. 1753 pieces minifigs: a wing pilot, rebel technician, astromech repair droid. May 4th promotion: any ideas??
I'm saying a wing so much because there's a chance I will get a handmedown of the 2000 UCS X-wing and will be getting 2018 UCS Y-wing with the 20th anniversary battle of endor
Mon Calamari Star Cruisers please like this one : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TVuYxZK1_9w
In fact just buy the rights to it and sell it to me. I'll throw money at you Lego. Estimate around $1600 and worth every penny. You'll make me spend 10 times more just rebuying UCS sets of models I already have over the last 20 years so whats 3 x more than the highest price ever to do the MC SC right? After seeing this I'm not sure how they could improve ... we all want a pool in our MC right?
Mos Eisley cantina!
A big landing platform on the death star
Trade federation battleship
Gungan city
Single trooper arial pltaform
Droid landing ship
Nebulon
Royal palace of theed
Pod race arena
So many ideas... Just give us something new! I've got almost every star wars set there is, so please no Xwings, even UCS awings, Y wings, and so on. Just something new and original.
Fury-class interceptor
a larger version of 9500-1 Sith Fury-class Interceptor from 2012.
I realize it can't be a full-size scale model as Millenium Falcon fits between her wings, but something larger that shows this ship is a corvette, and not a simple fighter
Jedi council with hologram jedi
I only saw this mentioned once or twice and only low on the list after other UCS wishes, but I think the world can use a UCS Landspeeder. And a nice large detailed one on the scale of a 911RS or Chiron. Big enough to fit the pose-able figures into. I’d even accept a smaller one on the scale of the creator series of cars. But really, Darth on the Fat Boy and storm troopers on speeder bikes needs a Luke in a Landspeeder.
Master Builders Series: Mos Eisley Cantina OR Ahch-To
UCS: Kylo Ren's Command Shuttle
We don't need anymore UCS Star Wars sets, we had enough of them. What we need though, it's an UCS Pirate Ship.
UCS AT-AT of course!
A-Wing, B-Wing, E-Wing, X-Wing, Tie Advanced, Tie Bomber, Tie Defender, Tie Interceptor
If I had to choose one, Tie Defender, but that's only cause I played Tie Fighter when I was a kid, ALOT! :)
Mos Eisley Cantina!
And also:
The Lars Homestead
Docking Bay 94
Yavin IV
And...
Gallofree GR-75 medium transport
Mon Cal Cruiser
- UCS AT-AT
- UCS Imperial Probe Droid
- UCS Droideka
Maybe:
- UCS L337
- UCS Battle Droid
for me real simple- AT-AT mini fig scale.
UCS Venator class Star Destroyer or
UCS AT-AT
UCS A-Wing
UCS Venator Class Star Destoryer, with a hangar (with micro models, etc)
An Utapu landing bay would be cool, with a new Grevious star fighter and Commander Cody!
When we going to get the poll?:). :) ?
As much as I love the original trilogy, I would like to see Clone Wars or Rebels get some UCS treatment.
The Ghost, Chopper Base, ARC-170, V-19 Torrent, The Twilight, Soulless One, Porax-38 Starfighter, Nu Class attack shuttle, AT-TE, AAT, MTT, T-6 Shuttle, Delta-7B Aethersprite Class Light Interceptor (Ahsoka's, Anakin's Obi-Wan's), Kom'rk-class Fighter, AT-DP, Hammerhead Corvette.....
Also we could use buildable figures from either series, especially ones with vehicles; Kanan with speeder bike, Battle Droid and STAP, Obi-Wan and CK-6 Swoop Bike - stuff like that would be great.
That said, we'll probably get an overpriced A-Wing.
A true minifig scale Sith Infiltrator!
Wookie-Copter!!!
This:
By Chouju_X[SPAM] in United States, 09 Sep 2019 16:44
Ebon Hawk with both crews.
A Nebulon-B escort frigate please! I think it's (to fans anyway) one of the most iconic starship silhouettes in the star wars universe and Lego have never done it credit. Failing that an A-Wing would be great to flesh out the whole alphabet of Rebel starfighters. We could use more land vehicles too though - so an AT-AT would be a good candidate.
My favorite five:
- Droid Control Ship
- Invisible Hand
- Home One
- Super Star Destroyer
- T-70 X-Wing
A highly detailed vintage fire engine.
MBS: Malevolence
UCS: AT-AT or updated AT-ST
UCS: AT-AT and UCS: Mon Calamari Cruiser
UCS sets should have more bricks like 7000-10 000-15 000-20 000 pieces, with more smooth exterior detail and perfect proportions.
Everything should be in minifig scale even sets like Sandcrawler or AT-AT.
Some interior would be nice.
OT UCS:
AT-AT (like Cavegod/RichboyJhae)
A-Wing (Like Anio)
Nebulon (Like Dranac/Mortsev)
Tie Bomber (like Yannik Brandt)
Jabba Sail Barge
Mon Calamari - Home One, MC80, MC75
Sandcrawler in minifig scale (like Cavegod/Marshall Banana)
Super Star Destroyer (like OneCase)
Imperial Shuttle Tidirium (like Marshal Banana)
Bigger Tantive IV (like Kit Bricksto)

God, anything but yet another tired re-release of the same ships. I mean, Star Destroyers/Falcons/X-wings are great and all, and I'm a huge SW fan, but do something with a bit more innovation. Even better, how about an UCS or Master Builder series of something that is NOT Star Wars? Like Battlestar Galactica maybe, or teach MegaConstrux how a Starship Enterprise SHOULD be built by getting that license. Hell, I'd be happy with a UCS whatever-type-of-train/plane/or boat at this point.
