By in United States,

This is so disappointing. We go from such a supreme set yesterday to this set that actually has bricks. Psssh. So unoriginal. *sigh*

One of my first sets. I love the trailer and grey bike. I also miss the instructions where they didn’t indicate what pieces to use, just showed the progression of the build.

By in Malaysia,

Used to have this! Love the cute truck... miss it now!

By in Turkey,

I do not have the actual set but I was lucky enough to build it with my spare parts. 80's were great, 90's were legendary (didn't end so well though).

Can one imagine a simpler design for the whole truck and trailer ?
I really like this old motorcycle and did not remember it.

Looking at the helmet, this is clearly one of Benny's earthbound ancestors

I *think* I had this set, or one like it. I remember using the bike with my classic space sets because it was grey. Space bike!

Dang. I was so hoping for more Clikits.

By in Belgium,

The first iteration I know of (the first one I had anyway) of the venerable car + trailer + motorbike combo. And even if much simpler than later versions (cfr. 6677 and 6644 which we also had) there was one characteristic that did not come on those later models: the loading ramp!

This is the era of my childhood sets. They bring a smile to my face every time with their cute simplicity and ease of play.

By in Germany,

I have this, first motorcycle I owned. It comprised of several parts and it was able to steer a little bit due to the connection of the front part to the body. I never had this in later motorcycles. I wonder if this was only mine or supposed to be able to steer, something they changed later to make it more stable?

This one we brought home from our second trip to Billund in 1984.

That motorbike is incredible. If only they still made it.

So many hours of my youth were spent playing with this set. Amazing what Lego could do with 50 simple pieces back then.

When those motorcycles came out....man, I had to get every set with them.

Loved this set. Simple in design.

Classic Town sets are like wine, they get better with age. My little brother had this set and I had the fire brigade one with a similar truck.

99.9% of these old light grey motorbikes have had their handlebars broken off by 80s kids like yourself, and the 0.1% that haven't are overwhelmingly in the possession of one demented AFOL who army-builds them as part of some sort of bizarre Classic Town biker gang MOC.
