Some new LEGO Star Wars sets are being released on the 4th of October and these will be accompanied by a number of promotions at LEGO.com.

Those offers include double VIP points and 40362 Battle of Endor will be available with Star Wars purchases exceeding £75, $75 or €75. Furthermore, a building event will be taking place at LEGO stores and certain products will be discounted, although those have yet to be confirmed.

Further information will be published when it becomes available.

By in United Kingdom,

I hate it when Lego forces me to purchase sets at full price :(

By in United States,

Any word on when the 20th anniversary Obi Wan promo will begin?

By in France,

Excellent GWP

By in United States,

Neat little set, but I don’t think I’ve ever needed $75 worth of sets, especially at full price. Oh well. Looks like I could build most if not all of that gwp from my stock.

By in United Kingdom,

Combination of wanting that Endor set to accompany the rest of the 20th anniversary sets, the Luke micro build, double points and pod racer polybag in store gwp. Means I need to convince the wife to let me finally buy a millennium falcon as I do love Lando. Or can get a divorce or hide the Lego in the loft until she’s in a good mood.

By in United Kingdom,

I'll be getting the new A-wing, death star escape and the Starkiller base duel set to get this. And I don't have those yet, SO YAY. Maybe a keyring to get past the £75 minimum spend.

By in Czech Republic,

I really want that little set. Not sure what I'll buy, but I probably won't buy any of the new sets right now, but something on sale instead.

Gravatar
By in Germany,

Perhaps some of the discounted sets will be interesting and exceed the 75 Euro threshold. The Luke Skywalker in-store build experience sounds fun as well. Might tempt me to visit our local store next friday after all :-)

By in United States,

I know I’m grabbing the Millennium Falcon and Kylo Ren’s Shuttle, been tucking some dollars away each week for the past month and a half. I think I’ll also grab the Inferno Squad Battle Pack, and maybe the 20th anniversary podraced if they’re discounted.

By in United Kingdom,

Now there's the guessing game of what sets will be cheaper.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I want it but that AT-ST is $10 overpriced as is the Death Star Cannon, might check the Action Packs.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Hey, I hope that we can use the new BB-8 promo with the Endor one.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I love the smell of discounted sets at double VIP points with GWP in the morning!

By in Canada,

Personally I'm not excited about microscale gwp like this one or the ToysRUs Bricktober ones. The exception was Diagon Alley which had an exclusive minifigure and great printed tiles. For microscale sets I'd rather see more gwp using that formula.

By in United States,

Kylo's Shuttle and the new MF will be the ones that I'm getting from this wave. I may get the AT-ST as well because I'm really excited about The Mandalorian.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Does anyone know if Smyths will be selling the 75192 Millennium Falcon with any discounts for Triple Force Friday? Finally decided to get the big big MF, but would rather pick it up from a local store than have it posted from LEGO (I'm never in when they deliver - I have a job). Double points will be nice though, but not too bothered about Endor (looks alright).

By in United States,

What's the part count of the GWP?

@Djblythe05

Don’t hide it. Wives always find out!

I just visited a LEGO store and heard about the Luke Skywalker build. My daughter asked to do it so my wife and I will take her but I can’t imagine being able to convince her to spend more than $75.

By in Switzerland,

Very unfortunate that they don’t offer Triple VIP Points for Triple Force Friday.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Are the U.K. RRPs for the new sets out yet?

Gravatar
By in United States,

I'd really like to see a third set in this style for A New Hope. I have the Empire Strikes Back one sitting on my dresser and it would look fantastic together.

I suppose I can always MOC one up if they don't do it.

By in United Kingdom,

@kolaxanthe Smyths are running a good promo in store only this weekend - £10 off every £50 spent if you have the code, so that could be a nice discount. Check out their website or sign up for their newsletter. Ends on Sunday.

By in United Kingdom,

@Jackthenipper Wished I'd seen that earlier. Just last weekend my local Smyths had 2 MFs in stock - now it is out of stock. Still a good deal that I might just drive 20 miles to next nearest store in the morning. Thanks.

By in United Kingdom,

They do it a few times a year - if you are on their mailing list they let you know. It’s a really good way of getting you to a bricks and mortar shop. I love Smyths, they are like a good TRU! Normally they just take £100 off the Falcon on online sales.

@BaronFel101:
There's actually two from Empire, if you count the exclusive space slug set from the 2016 Brick Friday. Many people probably forget that one because it was only available if you had an in-store invite to the preview party. I think that was the last year they did a special in-store event, and the blowback over that set may be the reason why. The only other BFPP exclusive set that I can remember is the 2014 train ornament.

By in Czech Republic,

I wonder.. since that "triple (something) is mentioned so many times as something "special - were you able to apply that discount immediately at the check-out, what would be your final price (discounted sale)? minus 15 per cent?..

really just raising the topic..

Gravatar
By in United States,

I have the prior millennium falcon and haven’t built it yet. I almost want to buy this one and sell the other as this one looks better with no gaps in the top pieces. Looking forward to a review on the new one.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

The same GWP is at $199 worth of Star Wars purchases here in Australia. Not at all enticing at that price... I suppose that’s what they will be charging us for Kylo Rens shuttle... hopefully all the big department stores will have stock available straight away so we can take advantage of their 20% off school holiday sales....

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Does this mean the UCS SD 75252 is back on double points as well?

Gravatar
By in United States,

@crayxmp:
Triple Force Friday is just a marketing label. It doesn't really mean anything. You do get double points, which, in the old world, generally meant that for every $100 you spent, you'd get $10 in future rebate. Effectively, this means you get $10 off every $110 spent, or about a 9% discount, vs the ~4.8% discount you normally would have received using the regular $100/$5 points system.

Now, I'm not sure how the math works because I can't remember how discounts are earned.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Just got back from Smyths with a 75192 Millennium Falcon. Woohoo!!! A £130 discount - literally twice as good as double VIP points (if not better). Thanks @Jackthenipper for pointing out the offer. Now I just need some time and space to build it.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Well done! £130 trumps a Black VIP card any day!

Gravatar
By in United States,

What the hell is "Triple Force Friday"?

Gravatar
By in Hungary,

@quark12000:
It is just Force Friday. It is menat to be: "Triple offer on Force Friday":
1.) GWP
2.) double VIP points
3.) some sets on sale

Gravatar
By in United States,

Goodness the GWP looks awful... But hey free set is a free set :)

Gravatar
By in United States,

The GWP 40362 will be available to purchase for 14.99 USD or 18.99 CAD

Gravatar
By in Estonia,

Estonia is in GMT +2 and I've noticed the countdown for the promotion's start keeps changing - at first it showed the start being at 2:00 AM (GMT, =at midnight in UK), then it had moved to 6:00 AM, now it is counting towards 7:00 AM (midnight in NYC). Quite disappointing and inconvenient. Even if a promotion is specifically created for US customers in mind, at least LEGO could have stated that fact upfront instead of quietly tweaking code on the fly.

Gravatar
By in United States,

The website is not working for me. Pages taking forever to load & there is no link to any specials that I can find.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Now there is a link but anything showing an actual sale price is out of stock as it has been since July.

Finally updated with sale prices but no great deals I could see. New sets are now listed but so far no actual pictures. Nothing I'm going to buy. New Frozen sets are now available too.

By in United Kingdom,

Has there been no further information on discounted sets then? Did I miss an article?
