By in United States,

I would but with the number of batmobiles I already have...

Yeah okay one more won’t hurt.

By in United States,

I like that two grammatical solutions are included in the poll:)

By in Netherlands,

Overall it looks really good, and it's nice that it comes with a new windshield, but those side vents are not the right shape and they stick out way too much. Also it's a shame that is has no flames coming out of the jet engine, the back could use some more color other than the rear lights. Really love the grille detail on the rear of the cockpit though.

By in United States,

This has just become my favorite LEGO set of all time. The 1989 Batmobile is my favorite car ever... this is a Day 1 Purchase for me.

By in Canada,

God, this set is beautiful. Aren’t those the Tumbler tires used at the back? The new molds are great and I love that there’s a pop-up gun feature. I’m also blown away by the idea of a rotating display stand- that’s something I never considered LEGO doing.

By in Malaysia,

This does look amazing, but I'm just not a batman fan, so it'll be a pass for me.

Gravatar
By in United States,

The minifigures!!!!!

Too bad I don't have the cash

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I wish they inlcuded the joker's long barrel pistol. hopefully they include it in the 1989 batwing.

love that joker!

By in United States,

I say this as someone who never was into superheros, or Batman... but this thing is Bat-A$$! I dare not show it to my soon to be 4 year old son, for fear my Wanted List plans for Christmas will go right to heck. Plus, how to tell a 4 y/o "here you go son, isn't she a beaut?! Now, you can't play w/it... But you can look at it on the shelf whenever you want :)" Ugh, I still want it, for me and my son... this little mental exercise isn't helping. Time for cigarette distraction!

By in Poland,

Honestly - it looks stunning!

Gravatar
By in Canada,

I don’t know, it looks incredibly blocky to me, and also it’s hard for me to see anything because of how much light the completely black colour scheme absorbs.

Great figs though.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Can it steer? in one of the photos it looks like the wheel is turned? Can't wait to get it.

Gravatar
By in United States,

This is beautiful! My smile was as big as the Joker's when I saw the video on Facebook. What great details and minifigures. I sure wish I had the cash.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

@rawbob I really hope that there's credible rumors of a Batwing D2C floating around and you're not assuming that there'll be a Batwing because there was the Batmobile.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Fitting it's being released on Black Friday, because Batman only works in black, and very very dark gray. I'm worried there won't be another set Out of the Vault this year.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Agree with you @StarWarzFan7777, I feel like I have seen MOCs that capture that side intake shape and the overall curves better (just google).

The slope of the entire front is much too abrupt and also the "mandibles" (looking from the top down) do not taper enough - it's almost like they took the details/appearance of the 1989 Batmobile and shoehorned it into the overall shape of the Animated Series or the 7784 UCS Batmobiles (I dont think 7784 is actually based on animated series, but its got a similar shape).

With all of that said - its a day one purchase for me!

By in United States,

I was really interested in the GWP mini batmobile. I understand why it was included with this version, but it also seems a little odd. But I don't think I'm going to buy this (as awesome as it is), just because I want the mini one. Hopefully I can bricklink that one decent enough.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Why is Batman's "exclusive cape" a big piece of rubber that restricts movement?
Why do they say there are "two minifigure seats" but they are way too big for minifigures and even Technic figures?

Still, this set is awesome, fairly priced and will make a lot of bat-fans happy.

Gravatar
By in United States,

60 CENTIMETERS!? Did I read that right?!

SO. AWESOME.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Breathtaking. This is a nearly perfect example of what a D2C should be. I say "nearly" because that GWP minifig-scale Batmobile should be sold separately for those who want it! (Yes, I know about set 76119.)

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I just keep looking at it and saying wow. My partner gave me a Lego gift card and we were in the local Lego store the other day and nothing grabbed me. I said I was waiting for something and it seems the Lego Gods answered with this. Hot Damn.

Gravatar
By in United States,

@norikins because that’s extremely faithful to the costume in the movie. If you watch it again, you’ll find that Michael Keaton never turned to look at something with his neck because he could not.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

shut up and take my money

Gravatar
By in Germany,

I am so glad I skipped all Batmobile sets up to now.
All the money saved can now be put to good use.
What an awesome rendition of my favorite version of this legendary vehicle.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Never thought I’d see the word “curvaceous” in an official Lego product description...

Gravatar
By in Canada,

Is there an early VIP access on this one? Or is it just a flat November 29 release?

Gravatar
By in United States,

This looks awesome.

Gravatar
By in Hungary,

That new "you can't turn your head" cape is awesome! As I know, this was the case with the real costume in the movie. :)

(Which is not too practical for someone, who needs to move fast, and see the surroundings, like...Batman)

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Wow it looks great, People, please don't buy them all on week one...... some of us need to save...... Lego you evil temptress. Stop making expensive sets that are must haves......... Mind you in context an ISD vs THREE of these (give or take £10) They seem a bargain.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

It looks great, but it's another set out of my price range.

Gravatar
By in France,

Drooling....

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

I think this looks spectacular and I'll buy it. Also, for those who said you can't replicate the Aston Martin because of its curves; they've done a pretty good job replicated the curves on this car. I can't find any faults with this.

Gravatar
By in United States,

For release on 29th November???? (Black Friday)

What is TLG thinking?

Where are the arguments of family together when pretending that customers go out to the madness of black friday to get the toy before it runs out?

Gravatar
By in Sweden,

Very odd that the press release doesn't mention that it's got steering.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Wow! I want this so bad, but given that my missus kicks off whenever I buy any LEGO bigger than a Microfighter, this will be a hard sell.

I think I'll need to sell some stuff to get the cash for this....Does anyone need a kidney?

Gravatar
By in United States,

Awesome!! Does it come with the smaller one as GWP? There’s no mention of that. ——never mind. Too busy looking at the photos to read. It does between launch and dec 5

Gravatar
By in United States,

No Prince minifigure, no sale.

Gravatar
By in Belgium,

Darn, the Batmobile is like the Millennium Falcon of Lego DC except their design is different from every Batman reboots.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Weirdly, I have no interest in this, but I really want the minifigure scale smaller version that comes for free! :D

Gravatar
By in United States,

It's so nice to finally have official pictures!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Won't get it (where would I put it, to begin with?) but it's an awesome sculpture, and much more reasonably priced (IMO) than many of the recently announced mega-sets. Pity the mini-version will only be available to buyers of the big set, though!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Does anyone know what time on the 29th it will be available? LEGO sometimes specify the time with sets that are expected to be very popular

Or as its Black Friday is it just 12:01am?

Obviously a minute 1 purchase for me!

Gravatar
By in Croatia,

GWP and Batman and Joker minifigs are must buy for me. Hope GWP would not be expecive because of limited edition

Gravatar
By in United States,

Not for me but this is the first Vale LEGO figure, right?

Gravatar
By in United States,

Awesome Batmobile... but enough with Batman already.

I would prefer something to equal the SHIELD Helicarrier; a Watchtower with exclusive minifigs (no Batman) and micro-scale Javelins would pry open my wallet!

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

I hope they'll have it at the first opening day of the Amsterdam flagship store on November 29th.

Gravatar
By in United States,

@Lordmoral:
Yes, but it's also the first time they've made any minifig that's specifically based on that quartet of Batman movies. They've done a joker that looked similar in the steamroller set, and two different versions of Batman that sorta look like his costume from Batman Returns (after they ditched that weird triple-tail on the chest logo). I have no idea what the real source is for the design of the steamroller Joker minifig, or the black/yellow Batman from 2012 that was used in The LEGO Movie a few years later, but the black/gold Batman that came out in 2006 is often mistaken for this costume, when it's a dead match for the costume Bruce wore during the Troika storyline after he "got better" from having his back broken during the Knightfall storyline.
