Images of the non-emergency services sets have surfaced, this time on a Polish site.

The seven sets include this rather cool ice cream truck.

60253 Ice cream Truck AKA Narcotic Truck. The skateboarder is buying 'ice cream' with a $100 bill, and there is a blue faced ice cream on the roof that looks too happy that he's fell over and can't get up. Love it.

By in Austria,

One can never have enough monster trucks, apparently.

The post plane and safari car are something new. Not sure if the stickers in that safari car will look as pretty. And the lion! It's a new print, right?

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

in the Safari Adventure is that a new Pippin Reed

Gravatar
By in Canada,

The safari truck looks like a great way to get a big cat and a little tree minifig at what should be a fairly reasonable price for many people. A safari zoo or open concept zoo series would be so cool!

By in Belgium,

Finally, Some beter sets.
For me the city range of 2020 isn't that good. Looks like most of them were made bij a child, pity, but beter for my wallet

By in United Kingdom,

Nice callback to 6672 Safari Off-Road Vehicle!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

That's more like it! Especially the Ice Cream Van. Another dog on a skateboard though (the other in a Friends set). Somebody at Lego must watch far to much youtube vids of skating dogs. Which you know is a fairly good pass time.

Gravatar
By in Greece,

I mean who needs ice-cream vans when you've got a safari jeep?!?!?!

Gravatar
By in Russian Federation,

Street Sweeper, Safari and Ice-cream truck - good.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

Yeah, I'm glad next year's City range has something other than police and fire trucks.

As everyone else has said, the Ice Cream truck (that's apparently selling drugs?) and the Safari Truck are first-day purchases, they both look great.

And I like the way that the postal plane connects the Lego City's post service to the postal service of the Winter Village. Definitely going to pick up those three.

2020 seems, though, to be the year of the monster truck, which I don't really understand either. I guess kids must like them. And is it me, or is the street sweeper oddly-proportioned? Like, it looks tinier than it should be.

By in Poland,

I wish the safari truck would have spring axels like 6672, but I am still gonna get it, for nostalgia, puma and tree stump.

Gravatar
By in New Zealand,

Yes, only the best stickers.

Gravatar
By in Belgium,

Ok! A few days ago I served some critique about City theme vs Friends... It appears that TLG heard me proper (lol) and overnight they came up with some great stuff...

Postal Plane Delivery, Street Sweeper, Icecream Truck... I like it all.

TLG is partially forgiven their sins against the City theme. Especially thanks to the return of postal subtheme...

EDIT:
And we are getting a white baseplate too... perfect for Winter Village

By in Germany,

I like the new version of the street sweeper. The yellow models were getting a bit old school. Too bad the safari jeep will be a sticker fest. Also like the postal plane on skates.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Only the best... ‘ice cream’ it’s good, possibly not as good as the Lego movie one imo. Perhaps a bit less tall, though, and that’s not a bad thing.

Gravatar
By in Hungary,

Did the postal plane land on a cloud?

Gravatar
By in Singapore,

Are y'all happy now?!

I'm personally just a little bit miffed that the postal worker torso in 60100 and the Winter Village Post Office is now obsolete in favor of the new winged envelope design of 60250 first seen in the xtra Brick Stickers pack, because now there's inconsistency between that torso and this new one, which drives me up the wall as someone with one copy of the old set. The old set is also a far better postal parts pack than this new one. But I guess I'll have to grab at least a couple of copies of the new one at any rate.

And 60252! I'm in love. I really like that specialized dump bed piece, though I wish it were 6 studs wide instead of 4. A little strange that it's called Bulldozer Construction when it looks more like a demolition set. But whatever, I'm in love.

Not sure about the Ice Cream Truck, to be honest. I very much fancy the white, yellow, red and dark azure color scheme, but it's too similar-looking to the Pizza Van and more pedestrian than the TLM one which has a more unique build and cooler minifigs, although yes, it does have better proportions.

I've already commented on the inexplicable surge in monster truck sets, but I really dig the purple and orange color scheme of this one.

Safari Adventure doesn't interest me, but I'm very happy that it exists.

Gravatar
By in Germany,

Love that Safari Adventure vehicle. The Street Sweeper is kind of cute. And the Ice Cream Van is a no-brainer.

Looking forward to 2020 far more than I did to 2019 last year around the same time.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

I was really hoping that tree minifigure would crop up in a small set- now I'm going to build a squad of forestmen elite and a pack of lions!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Safari adventure, Street sweeper and the speedboat transporter... epic the ice cream van could have been better maybe made like the lego movie one that was more convincing..

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

That's more like it!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Now these sets are brilliant. They hearken back to the days of '80s Town, and look great! My favorites are the Safari Truck, street sweeper, and postal plane.

I just wish LEGO would go back to having 4+ as a standalone theme. Too many great ideas for small sets are becoming 4+. I don't think LEGO has ever done a tracked small backhoe (ala JCB 1CX) or skid loader. The bulldozer, however, is pretty neat for such a juniorized set.

Gravatar
By in United States,

No new City Space sets? So is that line done after one wave?

Gravatar
By in Puerto Rico,

Bulldozer Construction, Ice Cream Truck and Safari Adventure (a gift to my pops). After seeing the Marvel pictures my wallet is happy.

Gravatar
By in Latvia,

I'm so excited for mpost of these sets! And could the safari set mean a whole subtheme of animals is coming?

Gravatar
By in United States,

I hope that the safari truck pieces are printed. That set looks amazing.

Gravatar
By in Poland,

Interesting... this site also metions other sets that have no pictures yet:
(Translated from polish)
Daredevils group
Racing Cars
Tuning station
Gas Station

ALso other sets that we havent seen:
41390 Andreas car and scene

Gravatar
By in Canada,

@SinKiller_Nick Yeah, from what I've seen (and please correct me if I'm wrong)"sub themes" don't generally get multiple waves these days. You'll see a decent assortment of sets in one wave, and then...*poof*...gone in six months.

For me, the safari truck, ice-cream truck, street sweeper, and postal plane are all 'must buy' sets...though, I still dislike the change in the postal logo (I like continuity), and I feel that 7732-1: Air Mail was a better looking set. This one though, will definitely fit in nicely with the Winter Village sets...especially Santa's workshop (those letters have to get to him SOMEHOW, right?) :D

Gravatar
By in Austria,

The Safari Truck is my favorite City Set within the last 4-5 years. Good-looking, affordable, rare pieces like the tree disguise and the lion - very much looking forward to it!

Gravatar
By in United States,

@SinKiller_Nick, the Space subtheme will probably return in 2023, judging from its appearances to date in 2011, 2015, 2019.

That mail plane is so nice I might buy two. That monster truck is so bad I might buy an older model instead.

Gravatar
By in Serbia,

Delicious. Finally, some good City sets.

Seriously, even the 4+ one doesn't look bad.

Gravatar
By in United States,

60267 Safari Adventure is perfection!! I want like a hundred copies, for parts, prints, and just to keep intact. Funny because 6672 was a RSOTD not long ago, and seeing it made me want one of my favorite childhood sets back in hand so badly that I bought a complete, in good condition, copy on Bricklink, rather than spend the frustration (and time I don't have) sorting pieces to rebuild mine. I can't wait to buy 60267 to display them together, and park them in a forest together, have them go to a ballgame together as father and son... ok I'm over it. Not really I can't wait!!

Ps. One can never have enough zebra print! 60253 Ice Cream Truck is adorable too! Really digging this wave, although... where's the buildings?

Gravatar
By in United States,

I predict the white baseplate will sell very well... I need at least 9! I have a table that's 30" x 30".

Gravatar
By in Brazil,

Finally a new Street Sweeper. Its has been just 15 years since the last one.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Normally I'm not into City stuff these days but this looks like an excellent wave! Safari Adventure is an obvious homage to 6672, and the monster truck reminds me of the one from the LEGO Worlds Monster Pack DLC. Definitely picking most of these up ASAP!

Gravatar
By in Spain,

Apparently this is the year of the monster trucks.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Given all the pale green parts and eyes I wonder if you could add the Monster Truck to a Hidden Side display and claim it's been haunted

Gravatar

Gravatar
By in United States,

@Ogre & @iwybs - thanks for the update on the City Space sets . . . I didn't realize sub-themes only get one wave of release these days . . .

Gravatar
By in United States,

I like the return of Postal (even in such a small set) and it's nice to get another City aircraft that isn't a police or fire helo or an airliner. The other sets are cool too!

Gravatar
By in United States,

There was a street sweeper in 2016, but it came in a larger set with a gas station, tow truck, and sedan. This is the first pocket-money street sweeper in 15 years.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I love the ice cream truck and safari jeep. Will be buying for sure!

Gravatar
By in United States,

I can't wait to pick up the ice cream truck! It'll look great next to the pizza van. I'll park both in front of Assembly Square and call it a food truck festival.

Gravatar
By in United States,

This is more like it. My town already has enough police, but you can't have too much ice cream, construction equipment, or municipal maintenance equipment.

Gravatar
By in Norway,

Will be stacking up an ice cream truck army for sure!! Accompanied with the port-a-loo army, pizza van army and tuk-tuk army :)

Gravatar
By in United States,

These are all a must have for me. A tracked bulldozer will be a welcome addition to any construction scene.

Gravatar
By in Germany,

Why does TLC think they need so much Police when those City sets seem to be so much better?

Gravatar
By in Australia,

The ice-cream truck is cool and I want one for sure (if nothing else, buying one helps send the message to TLG that we want more of the same)
The safari truck is also cool and the big cat (which looks new and not the same printing as the mountain lion from the Mountain Police sets) will be a great addition to my collection of zoo animals.
The race boat truck seems like a re-hash of the 2015 and 2011 boat transport truck sets, no interest there (I have zero use for those large boat hulls)
The postal plane is nowhere near as good as the previous postal plane from 2008 (which I own and love)
Another monster truck? We get enough of those already thanks. Plus it looks ugly (IMO) with the stupid eyes (which appear to be a print and not a sticker) and the teeth.
The 4+ set is kinda neat for a 4+ set but not enough to make me want one.
And the street sweeper is cool, might pick that one up as well.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

These are leaps and bounds over the emergency sets. It looks like these will cater for older builders. I might get the safari truck, ice cream truck and post plane.

Gravatar
By in United States,

That safari set looks great, a lion in such a small set is a great deal!

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

That safari truck is wonderfull. The street sweeper is nice, too.

The powerboat truck is lacklustre. The truck itself, I mean - it's just too bland, nothing special, harking back to the beginning of this century in the "troubled" years of Lego creativity. And I see more examples of that, the "junior-ification" of city... Then again, they're toys.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

These are nice sets, I will probably get Ice-Cream van and Safari Truck on release but will wait for discount before getting the others.

Gravatar
By in New Zealand,

I might get Safari Adventure just because it brings back memories of 6672 Safari Off-Road Vehicle. Doors with zebra stripes were pretty amazing when I was a kid. Shame it doesn't have the suspension feature though.

Gravatar
By in Slovenia,

Safari Adventure looks marvelous!

Gravatar
By in Taiwan,

I bought the mountain police station for the lion and the tree trunk guy.
The new safari set makes me regret my decision.
