By in United States,

Picked up the 75222 Cloud City at my local shop and got both promos with my purchase, including a bonus VIP Gifting Set (5006008-1). Seems like some stores are giving that one out as well.

By in Poland,

So no double VIP points with Batmobile?

By in United Kingdom,

The two sets I wanted both sold out online, would’ve pushed me over the £200 limit and qualified for all the freebies. It’s too far for me to go to a Lego store so I’ll miss out, but then so will Lego for not stocking their online shop

Davejack82 - same here. Was going to get Welcome to Apocalypseburg!, but no luck. I bet it will be back in stock soon without the 30% off.

By in Czechia,

Welcome to Apocalypseburg with 30% off + double VIP and the freebies was a really great deal. Too bad it went out of stock so fast :(

By in United Kingdom,

Amazingly, the order I placed just after the offers started yesterday (00:10am) has just arrived with standard delivery! Must be some sort of record.

@ dbbunny
That is fast. Here, it took always 1 week or even more with standard delivery.

Yes, I put in an order around 00:15 Saturday, and it arrived at 11:40 Sunday... Impressive! Put in another order around 09:30 Saturday, and it's still 'In Warehouse', so I guess they got busy!

By in United States,

This is quite a poor weekend. The two largest sets worth getting went out of stock within 6 hours and stayed that way the whole weekend. The only other one (UCS Y-Wing) went out of stock within 12 hours and stayed that way.

Apart from that, a bunch of Friends boxes that noone cares about, and a handful of older Speed Champions. And there is nothing exclusive about the red brick - it can be built easilly from common parts.

I was totally ready to plump down $200 minimum for the tree, but I haven't bothered. I'll wait until the Christmas deals.

By in Ireland,

Just tried to place an order. No Christmas tree shown in my shopping basket and payment failed twice. Nice going Lego, I give up.

By in Netherlands,

I went all seasonal with the gingerbread house and 2 christmas brickheadz sets. Must say I find the €120,- treshold way too steep this year to get some promotionals.

To be honest it's not only this €120,- treshold that's been bothering me, I find Lego becoming too expensive as it is. Especially the licensed themes like SW and such. Nowadays pricing makes it pretty clear kids aren't the target audience anymore but the adults with their filled wallets. Lego can't tell me their production costs went up that much that they for example sell the same "new" x-wing for €10,- more than the last one last year.
As longs as we keep paying these prices Lego has no reason to keep prices affordable for everyone.

And yeah, I just spend €139,- just to get a promotional christmas tree too....

By in France,

I was lucky and got one of the Apocalypseburgs with all the bonuses. I had wanted that set for a long time and never could afford it at regular price. The discount, vip points and freebies really made it a sweet deal. Quite lucky I logged on to the lego website right as the sale started, by complete coincidence!
