City Advent Calendar - Day 6

Posted by ,

8 minifigures (including a snowman), 24 days... that's a minifigure every 3 days. The last one was behind door 3 so by rights we should find another one today.

But, no, we have a Christmas tree!

The use of gold 1x1 rounds in between the branches gives the impression decorations, and a piece that first started life as a Ninjago weapon is put to good use at the top.

So, not a bad effort, I suppose...

It's alright, the bigger harry potter one was way better tho

By in Australia,

I thought it was an interestingly-different way of doing a Christmas tree, but I thought the clutch power (with only one stud holding the branches on top of each other) was a bit lacking. The golden sai as the tree topper was interesting.

Has anyone noticed the doors are always in the same place and the same order across all these advent calendars going back years? Come on LEGO, mix it up a bit!

Thanks, I hate it.

HP tree blows this out of the water.

These weapon racks are getting crafty.

Axes, sais, bathroom tissue flinders. No wonder there's a police sub theme every year.

By in Sweden,

I'm so relieved they actually made a new design for a christmas tree. Ever since I bought city calendars, all of the christmas trees have had the same exact pattern with little to no changes (and don't get me started in the 2017 one). This though is actually original so I'd give it a 4/5 maybe because still, christmas trees aren't the most nteresting things ever
