City Advent Calendar - Day 7

Posted by ,

It's been four days since our last minifig.

Surely we'll find one behind today's door!

Our second minifig is a boy with a propeller cap. He's not particularly interesting, although this is only the third appearance of the propeller piece, which is new this year.

He's holding a cookie, and you can never have too many of them, right?

It's always good to find a minifig behind the door!

Jumper printing is a little simple but does the job.
I'd not seen the propeller hat til now. Very amusing and definitely the highlight of the figure.

were those propellor hats ever really a thing? they pop up a bit in media but I've never seen a picture of someone real wearing one

It's always good to get another minifigure.

I have vague recollections that 8 is usually the number of minifigs in these calendars, but going by the front of the box (and that could be misleading, but going on the hunch that it isn't), I think there will only be 7 in this one. You've got six family-members (two kids, two parents, and two grand-parents), and Santa.

Although I guess it depends. Do you count the snowman as a minifigure? I don't, but I imagine some people do.

Big fan of this minifigure. The shirt, face and the propeller are all incredibly rare pieces and it's nice to get them. The minifigure himself even looks quite cool. 5/5

It will be interesting to see what additional uses the set designers find for that propeller piece.

Really? Bricklink counts snowmen as minifigures? Weird.
