City Advent Calendar - Day 18

Posted by ,

Christmas day is now but one week away so with luck we'll be seeing some nice seasonal models and minifigures in the remaining windows.

Let's see if that's the case today...

Today we have quite a nice table, adorned with a red and white tablecloth, and what just about passes for a Christmas dinner: turkey leg and cabbage, perhaps?

It's a colourful build and one can never have enough foliage pieces and poultry legs.

By in Canada,

Nice idea for using those parts as plates

I liked this one, but would it have killed them to do a 4x4 sized table?

By in Australia,

Not a bad little table.

I just find it unusual though that we have gotten so many indoor related items (table, rocking chair, lamp), but we don’t have anywhere to put them on the placemat. I wished the placemat had an outline of a house like a lot of the other calendars

By in Finland,

I wish it was like a 4x4 or 4x6 instead of the odd 4x3 size

By in Netherlands,

Good use of parts, something different from a super standard 4x4 plate with 4 legs.

Also the use of tiles help with removing the plates easier, and add some color.

I can't get enough of those 1x3 tiles, though, especially in white.

By in Sweden,

It's good although I'm not really a fan of these types of builds. 4/5

I ran across those leaves in a pick-a-brick bin a while back, and I think I can confidently say that you can indeed have enough of them. But they are so nice that I couldn't resist.
