Harry Potter Advent Calendar - Day 14

An interesting pattern has emerged during this Harry Potter Advent Calendar. Similar items are appearing very frequently, although these have been divided by excellent minifigures.
Hopefully another such minifigure will arrive on day fourteen...
Hermione Granger returns home for Christmas during Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone and this exclusive minifigure takes inspiration from her final scene before leaving. This black coat closely resembles her onscreen attire and I love the flame yellowish orange and dark red striped scarf which represents Gryffindor. The accompanying Hogwarts crest looks nice too, given its tiny size.
While the torso is brand new, this reddish brown hair element was introduced during 2018 and looks perfect in relation to the movies, featuring lovely texture. Moreover, I like this double-sided head with cheerful and concerned expressions. Hermione should be wearing grey gloves, although these flesh hands are adequate in my opinion and a dark tan wand completes this impressive figure.
Overall - 5.0 - Our third exclusive minifigure feels consistent with the festive atmosphere of this Advent Calendar and looks marvellous.

I'm rather impressed with the unique torso. Very nice addition to the Great Hall display.
Until now I thought the torso was the same as that on Dean Thomas. Now I've looked and realised it's not. Nice to get another variation of the Hogwarts robes as well as being accurate to the theme of the calendar - Christmas in the Philosopher's Stone film.

Battle of the Licensed Advent Calendars continues. After ceding the lead to SW on Day 13, HP fans are in full panic mode for the fate of the calendar after three consecutive losses. This year's race is anyone's game at this point but the momentum has clearly shifted in SW favor. That said, let's take a look at the offerings awaiting us on Day 14.
Behind the door of HP's calendar stood a magnificent child rendition of Hermione Granger. Rounding out the triad of main characters, this exclusive figure is a welcome site. The author points out that light grey hands would have been more accurate to source material but the printing on the torso more than makes up for it. I also found the hair piece to be very accurate and really rounds out the figure nicely. Along with her counterparts, she comes complete with her wand of light tan/beige origin.
On the flip side, SW saw a version of the Corporate Alliance Tank Droid emerge today. This buildable mini model is faithful to source material and is a nice step up from yesterday's mouse droid. Color scheme is on point although the author takes issue with the rear wheel- a minor flaw in an otherwise superb offering.
All in all, both calendars bounced back from arguably their worst offerings this holiday season on Day 13. This is another close call albeit in a positive way rather than a negative one. Based on the trend of minifigs winning their respective days across both calendars, as well as a perfect score for HP vs a 4.5/5 for SW, the point goes to HP. With the Day 14 bounce back, the score is once again tied for the second time this holiday season, and now stands:
HP- 7
SW- 7

Very nice minifigure , and especially the torso. All these extra wands are nice. I cannot help but wonder what kind of minibuilds could I make somehow using those in the details.
