Clikits Advent Calendar - Day 7

More jewellery or something else?
We're just over 1/4 of the way through and already I'm stuggling to think of things to write in the intro...
Something of an anti-climax today, as we venture into stationery with a small blank greetings card or gift tag, decorated with one of the Clikits girls dressed for winter.
A rectangular hole pre-punched into the top right hand corner takes an icon, which is held on the back with a thin anti-stud part, the first we’ve encountered in the calendar.
A thin sparkly foil star is held between them and can of course be used anywhere an icon is clipped onto something. It's a shame there isn't another hole punched in the back near the fold, which would allow it to be hung by a cord from a present.
It might come in handy for writing a thank-you note to Santa, I suppose...

Talk about quality. A Christmas card! Instead of lego bricks. Even Huwbot is disappointed.
It feels a bit like the set designers got to day 7, looked ahead to the other 17 little compartments they had to put stuff in, and just panicked a little bit.
I wonder what we're going to get tomorrow.
It encourages writing, which is a positive and one of their main points of their products. Also giving, as a gift to a Friend.
I like that. The people who Clikits was originally aimed at (ie 5 - 12 year old girls) have a thing for greetings cards. At least the ones I know do. I expect some stationery will pop up soon. Stationery is another obsession of that age group. I mean have you ever been in a branch of Smiggle?
Is the quality of the paper at least still only the best?
Dare I say it but is Huwbot's passion for all things clikits beginning to diminish? Too much of a good thing I suppose!
Another day, and Star has only made an appearance once. Hopefully the next 17 days will make up for this.
