By in Norway,

There was also -30% on:
>> 10254 Winter Holiday Train
>> 80103 Dragon Boat Race
But both were sold out when I woke up this morning... :-(

Given the state of things good luck to anyone trying to get a Batmobile tomorrow!

80103 for £31 must be the deal of the year, for 15 minifigs!

By in Norway,

@Huw Yup! That's why I was so disappointed to see them sold out immediately. All good now. Looks like LEGO will produce a new run of these sets. :-)

By in United Kingdom,

I spent £209 online last weekend, but 80103 is just too good a deal to pass up!

By in Poland,

So no double points on proper Black Friday? Lame.

By in Czech Republic,

Too bad I simply refuse to get the Dragon Boat set as this would force me into needing the other unobtainable one from the theme :)

By in Australia,

In Australia, you have to spend $200 to qualify for the Christmas tree. I really would like the Christmas tree, but there's just nothing in the Lego shop that I really want.

And that's not even mentioning how you have to spend hundreds to get minifig-scale '89 Batmobile. Why couldn't they just sell that one by itself? It's smaller. More people would buy it. Damn these limited edition sets.

Those sets are not available in the US.

It may spoil things, but you can see on S&H which sets have been changed to a limit of 3 per household - changed from their previous limits in last day or so.... which may be an indicator they are heading for either -30% or -20% on daily deals over next few days.. I found 3 sets of interest to me i'd definitely buy at -30% but not at -20% so hope it comes true.

By in Germany,

@Shropshire: how can you see which sets have been changed to 3 per household? I can find no such search or functionality.

By in United States,

I am from the US market but I am shocked to see Dragon Boat being retired so soon after all we fought to get it to international markets. I will wait what offers the US gets later.

By in Germany,

Both 10254 Winter Holiday Train and 80103 Dragon Boat Race are sold out (now, 4 pm) in Germany. And they were sold out 6 am already. Didn't check the availability inbetween... :(

@AustinPowers it's not a search function, it's taking a look at the sets on the site manually...eg. carousel, Saturn V, droid commander....

By in Canada,

In Canada, we only have very crappy deals (as always).
(1) Tron:Legacy, (2) Shimmer & Shine Sparkle Spa!, (3) Hanzo vs. Genji, (4) Police Station (60141), (5) The Bedrock Adventures, (6) Andrea's Talent Show, (7) Large Playground Brick Box (Duplo), (8) Spider-Man vs Electro (Duplo) and (9) KayaK Adventure. Dragon boat race and Holiday train are both still available but at full price.

There are currently 42 "themes" in the Lego store. A good way to do this would be to select 10 relevant themes (i.e. no serious play, minifigures, dead themes and the likes) and then pick one set for each of these themes and put a 30% (or more) rebate on them.

For example, let's say you pick: Architecture, City, Creator Expert, Duplo, Harry Potter, Hidden Side, Jurassic World, Ninjago, Technic and Star Wars and you select one (medium to large) set in each group that will get a 30% (or more) rebate. Now that would be a "black Friday" sale. That being said, Lego is in the black all year round - so they don't really need to entice sales....sigh!

Unlike many I was lucky enough to have brought the Dragon Boat race in the early hours of this morning, didn't plan on buying today was gonna wait for Sunday when I go to my new local brand store but figured it was cheaper buying it now even with the shipping. Very happy to have got one before the went OOS

Where's this year's "out of the vault" rerelease? We got the Taj Mahal and Vestas Wind Turbine on the last two Black Fridays.

By in Norway,

Omg, the ”add to basket” is available past midnight but at the same time I get an error message, not able to actually ADD the Batmobile to the basket. -Way to go TLG. Spend you money on a new webstore rather than....Bricklink.
