By in United Kingdom,

3 minutes past midnight and I can't log onto the site... I can see that I will not be getting my Saturn V

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Disney train also 30% off in uk at least. On 2nd page

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

plus £209 for Disney Train Set

Gravatar
By in Ireland,

Logged me out and can't login. I want my Saturn V.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Keep trying, it's struggling, but I think that I successfully placed an order.
Couldn't resist the Disney Train.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I can log in, but nothing is loading except the homepage. Eh, I was planning on picking some sets up on amazon instead of their crappy website anyway.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Well that was a mission! Ordered the Batmobile, only took 20 minutes.

Gravatar
By in Ireland,

That’s a brilliant price for the Disney Train + Station, especially since it was only released a few short months ago, €230.99 so saving €99! :D

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I think LEGO needs to look into increasing its bandwidth capabilities, anyone else agree. Just crashed like that no chance of me getting anything good. Might as well just go to bed and not bother.

Finally it now seems fine, and both sets are still in stock (Batmobile & Disney Station)

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

tried over 20 minutes and I think I made the order for the Saturn V. if I have the spare cash, I will buy that Disney train as well.

Gravatar
By in Portugal,

What an adventure until finishing the order! Just saved 99€ by ordering the Disney Train! I will leave the Batmobile for later.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

still not working for me

update 00:45 - now working

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Totally horrendous lego website and to have all the big things happening at once! Wasn't expecting to see Disney train on 30% till sat or sun but after 30min I think! Its ordered... Still waiting for confirmation email...

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Yes, very overloaded... Just have to keep retrying.
Just grabbed the Disney Train. Glad I had no interest in the Batmobile (different story if it had been the 1966 TV Batmobile!)

Gravatar
By in United States,

It fills me with dread the fact that LEGO dared to acquire another selling site when they barely support the one they have and not to mention how the messed the VIP points (don't know how to change them), I got both paid and with an order in the US shop but why botter now when I can get other things at Bricklink (Imperial Landing Craft as well a whole lot of figures)?

Gravatar
By in Portugal,

Guys, I'm reading your feedback regarding today's orders, I just can't stop thinking about Bricklink..........

Difficult to see, the Dark side is......... "Yoda"

Gravatar
By in Ireland,

Saturn V and a Christmas Tree!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Yeah, confirmed... One disney train... And all I wanted was that flipping tree! Lol
Good luck to you all with the awful lego site and yes confirm emails are taking 20min to come through! Nite nite

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Fenwicks had the Saturn V at £69 this week - but no tree with it! They also had £25 off the Mustang. So much for the Batmobile - when I saw the Disney train at 30% off that was it! It even has an Xmas tree to go with it!

Gravatar
By in Germany,

Wow. Made two separate orders. First the Disney Train - couldn't resist at that discount. Second the Batmobile, and with that I tried using the new VIP voucher system, and guess what, everything worked a treat!
Saved 99 Euro on the train and got the Batmobile plus the mini version and another Christmas Tree set for 149.99 Euro total (thanks to a 100 Euro VIP voucher).
I am totally gobsmacked. Positively.

I almost bought another Saturn V, but as I already got one long ago what would have been the point? I'm not an investor after all. ;-)

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

3rd Xmas Tree on the way... I just hope there aren't any more irresistible discounts coming up!

Gravatar
By in Ireland,

i was logged i half hour before midnight and boom, come midnight logged me out and I lost Batmobile!!

Gravatar
By in Ireland,

Why is everyone giving out about the website being slow, following it up with a confirmation of their order? Just be patient guys, they’re good deals and there are a lot of people visiting the website at the same time trying to avail of them, it’s to be expected that the sudden increase in traffic will cause temporary problems. You’ll get there if you persevere and demonstrate a modicum of patience. So chillax! First world problem if ever I heard one. :)

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Still no love for Star Wars UCS or recent sets with a discount but what’s been on offer so far has been very good. Look forward to seeing what the next day brings

Gravatar
By in United States,

Umm shouldn't the Surfer Van also be a giveaway too?

Gravatar
By in United States,

So far the sale has given me 100% off my logged in state (logged me out and I cannot sign back in), and 100% off my Wishlist and Cart as a result.

Beyond that, it's just showing me full-price offers like the Batmobile and two 20% off sets under a 30% off banner. Meh.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Took less than 2 minutes after midnight for the US S&H site to crash...

Gravatar
By in United States,

Gotta hand it to Lego, when their website breaks it breaks into a bunch of little pieces

Gravatar
By in United States,

This is going to be just like the Star Destroyer, the Batmobile will show online all night and not go "live" to buy until 8 am central in my case tomorrow.

Gravatar
By in United States,

7 minutes after midnight and nothing :(

The sale page will not load.

Didn’t the LEGO Shareholder report say something about their ‘cutting edge’ website? Really?

Gravatar
By in United States,

I got the deals to load, but it won't add to cart.
42073 - Bash
41154 - Cinderalla's dream castle
New Ninjago Docks,
Saturn Rocket
Disney Train
Then in crashed again

Gravatar
By in United States,

I got it in my cart but then the rest of the US caught up to me and that was the end ... has anyone seen what the BF offers are? I’m not seeing anything new

Gravatar
By in United States,

Just in case you're new to the Lego world or back after a Lego coma, the Lego shop at home website is the ultimate troll.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Glad I'm not the only one having issues

Gravatar
By in United States,

Most frustrating thing is trying to check out once you've managed to actually get anything into your bag at all, and then the check out page says 'page not found'. Typical Lego SAH website disaster... *sigh*

Gravatar
By in Ireland,

Gah, just realising I should have split my order to get two of the Christmas tree sets. Ah well.

Gravatar
By in Canada,

Got my order in! Had to refresh a dozen times but I got it!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Took 30+ minutes but got my order in. Took a lot of willpower but held off on the Disney train and the docks - nice offers but I’m interested in other stuff more

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

Tried ordering the Batmobile right after midnight but was logged out. Then tried logging back in but got various errors. Tried different browsers, for some reason I was logged back in but I can’t add the Batmobile to my basket. Right now I’m still experiencing the same problems

Gravatar
By in United States,

I've been trying to check out for an hour. I guess I'm not getting anything. I give up...

Gravatar
By in United States,

You would think after all these years that this wouldn't be an issue anymore.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Well that was fun, not! Took about 20 tries for my order to finally go through. It kept telling me they couldn't process my credit card. Couldn't resist the Disney Train at that price. But it seems they took away the Double points that were supposed to be on that set for the month of November.

Gravatar
By in Canada,

Took an hour for me in Canada, but it worked out. Got the Docks also. Now to wait for the sweet City, I hope I can get one when it goes on sale!

Gravatar
By in United States,

@imemine98 ah right. Thank you!

By the sounds of many people here it seems like the LEGO site is experiencing issues... Again... Oh I really hope the LEGO web team does not touch the Bricklink site.....

Gravatar
By in United States,

Been trying for 89 minutes... eventually added things to my cart, but checkout seems hopeless.

EDIT: Took a little over two hours, but I got through (and my VIP discount worked).

Gravatar
By in Germany,

It's a trap!

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

Just bought the Batmobile. Would the Mustang have been given a discount I'd have bought that one as well but alas that's not the case. Just the Batmobile it is then.

Gravatar
By in Sweden,

this is a nightmare....

Gravatar
By in United States,

Ugh...of course the Disney Train sees a nice discount after I ordered it for VIP Weekend last week. Sets that new rarely see a discount, so I thought I’d be safe, but alas.... :-(

Gravatar
By in Germany,

> Ugh...of course the Disney Train sees a nice discount after I ordered it for VIP Weekend last week. Sets that new rarely see a discount, so I thought I’d be safe, but alas.... :-(

You could just call customer service and explain the situation, I'm sure they'd be happy to oblige. If not, one could of course always order again and return the first shipment (however, in order to avoid this unnecessary brouhaha they'll quite likely adjust your price for you...).

> Just bought the Batmobile. Would the Mustang have been given a discount I'd have bought that one as well but alas that's not the case. Just the Batmobile it is then.

The Mustang is too new to be discounted. The train, however, is overpriced and selling badly.

Gravatar
By in Germany,

So glad I stayed up late and ordered in the middle of the night when everything went smoothly.

Just tried to get in another order for a colleague of mine but no matter what device or browser I use, checkout is impossible because the button to pay is not visible.

You'd think TLG had learned at least a little from past experience, but no.

EDIT: London Bus appears to be on its way to a discount over the coming days as the max number per household is down to 3.
As one of my favorite YouTubers from Down Under would say: I am happy with that ;-)

Gravatar
By in United States,

It took me 50 minutes to be able to go through adding anything to the cart, and though processing payment. It was a constant "common error, try again" or "page not found"

I would have though that LEGO would make an effort to overcome the website update at the peak of traffic. Every year, for every season sale it is the same ordeal. Disappointed.

Gravatar
By in Belgium,

I tried to order a Batmobile at midnight : it failed. Tried again various times and then at 1AM numerous times. It failed too. Tried this morning at 6AM and numerous times all over the morning. I can’t count how many times I tried and how many times it failed. Their CTO should be fired. I can’t express how much I’m pissed over this whole customer experience.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Maybe Lego bought bricklink to figure out how a real web site is supposed to work lol!

Gravatar
By in Germany,

Amazon.de also has some really cool discounts, two Technic sets especially come to mind:

42098 Car Transporter for 95.20 Euro
42099 Extreme Offroader for 135.20 Euro

Even though I don't personally like the latter, that price is awesome imho for anyone who is interested.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I really dislike the fact that TLG (always) set the minimum spend so high. Why can’t they do offers on more affordable sets?
Other retailers do!

Gravatar
By in New Zealand,

New Zealand gets shafted ... as usual. No more than 25% off sets that get 30% discounts in other regions, and a limited selection just to add to the shafting. Needless to say I went and bought elsewhere, at places that actually *want* customers.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Ordered the 1989 batmobile this morning while ordering it said You've qualified for a FREE Mini Batmobile™ 40433. When the confirmation email came through the 40433 set had disappeared from my order.

Gravatar
By in Poland,

^ Wow, that's a new level of screwing consumer experience up...

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

My confirmation email still hasn’t arrived and I ordered at 2am this morning. Anyone else had this issue?

Gravatar
By in Sweden,

These are some sweet daily deals as well. With all the troubles of getting the Batmobile (I managed in the end) I completely ignored these. Well, not a problem, because the Lego budget for the rest of the year is gone now :)

Gravatar
By in Sweden,

Wanted the Hogwarts Express, but it didn't work earlier and now it's sold out. Call it a first-world problem, but I think it's embarrassing for such a large company to have such a dysfunctional website.

Gravatar
By in United States,

FYI Falcon is going live at Amazon in a few minutes

Gravatar
By in United States,

Sadly the Ninjago City Docks are out of stock, but my bank is out of stock as well so it didn’t matter that much.

Gravatar
By in United States,

For those in US, Ninjago City is going to be 30% on Saturday!

Gravatar
By in United States,

The website worked for me (I bought the Saturn V). Pretty good sales.

Gravatar
By in United States,

It's interesting that the saturn V has 1969 pieces (The year of apollo 11).
