Oh boy... Who seriously wants to preorder this ugly looking overpriced Technic set?

I wouldn't dream of buying this car on pre-order. Perhaps on clearance for 60% off as a parts pack.
I might think again if it came with a Stig minfig or Technic fig, or if it actually portrayed a vehicle that was featured on the show prominently - like the Hilux, the Hammerhead Eagle i-Thrust, the Rover James, the Hovervan, the P50, hell even the Suzuki Liana would have been better than some ficticious rallye car with some irrelevant stickers slapped onto it!

Some say, that he is allergic to modern Lego Technic sets, or that the inside of his helmet is made of brick separators - all we know is...

A vaguely remember that the post-Clarkson edition of TG featured a rally car, maybe, at least in some episode? I watched quite some of that new edition first season at least, but nothing really stuck apparently :)

I'll pass. The pieces2price ratio is absurd.

I think it's a bit foolish to preorder the set. It's rather basic, and overpriced. Eventually, it will be discounted quite handsomely.

At the very least, a Stig minifig should have been included. Honestly, I think this should have been a minifigure scale Speed Champions set. Cheaper, and probably better-looking.
