Numerous new 2020 sets from several themes are now available to purchase at LEGO.com! They include items from Technic, Star Wars, Hidden Side, Friends, City and Disney.

Please consider using the following link and helping to support Brickset when making any purchases:

Purchase 2020 sets at LEGO.com

These sets have not been released in North America at the time of writing, but I expect they will be shortly. Additional sets from NINJAGO, Trolls: World Tour and other ranges should be available from the 1st of January, along with 10270 Bookshop.

By in United Kingdom,

Has there been no word on potential new Harry Potter sets for 2020?

By in United Kingdom,

There's 4 set numbers listed under Harry Potter & 2020 in the database, on whatever basis those blank number entries are created. Overwatch is similar, perhaps they're being held back for spring waves?

HP is apparently doing well in it's third iteration, so I could see it being a headliner for a March push.

By in United States,

They have been summer sets the past two years, so I wouldn't expect to hear anything about them for awhile.

Oh, that tuning garage set looks amazing.

So tonight/tomorrow in the US, are the Hidden Side sets going to become avaliable? Also, do they then become avaliable on Amazon and in-store?

I can assure you it is. Nice builds, mostly exclusive figures, a new dog mold, Ninjago references in the welding helmets...

@azgx39;

I believe Hidden Side is a Jan 1st release in the states.

By in Poland,

Fun fact: DC minifigures are listed as 17.99 pln not 22 as I was expecting. Good.
But SW are once again horribly priced.
Good we learned almost all sers go on a sale after a while...

By in United States,

All the ones on my Wanted list show "Coming Soon: Jan 1, 2020" on the Lego website, so I guess whatever's going up today is not City or Technic related.

By in France,

Well, now I have to browse Brickset database and add a few sets to my collection. Something I always find so enjoyable to do. We can be sure that the total amount of sets owned by our community members will increase a bit today:)

Now that JK is being slandered as transphobic by the professional protesting class it will be interesting to see if Harry Potter Lego bricks remain a theme moving forward. My guess is such sets will quietly go away to avoid triggering anyone.

Those people form barely 1% on social media but they are loud as f----. That Professional class only knows to intrude on other people matters and fandom and cause strive. JK Rowling actually asked for this for pamdering to them and that same group is turning around to shame a woman.

Great point, honestly; the last thing The LEGO Group should want to be associated with is prejudice. However, the LEGO Harry Potter sets don’t seem to be licensed by J. K. Rowling; they seem to be using the Warner Brothers license instead, as the sets are mostly based on the film. It’s similar with Minecraft; Notch has been accused of prejudice on the internet, but they’re still making LEGO sets. Minecraft is technically owned by Mojang, which is probably how they avoid direct association with controversial figures on social media.

On an unrelated note, does anyone still buy the Minecraft sets? I know the game is getting more popular on the internet, but I don’t know if that’s enough for them to keep releasing six sets a year.

I’ve gotten one as a gift and one for 50% off at a clearance sale since 2016.

By in Germany,

My number one New Year's resolution is to massively cut down on LEGO spending in 2020. Aamof I am going to try to not buy more than one set a month on average. Will see how well this goes but I am determined to do so. Just going to pick the best of the best. My wallet as well as my wife will thank me for it.

By in United Kingdom,

Seems like some sets have been removed. Can't find 60270 listed at all, but I am sure it was on there for £34.99

Ummm, I think you need to read my post more carefully. Nowhere, and do I mean NOWHERE, did I suggest JK said anything wrong. I'm also pretty sure you don't know what the word "prejudice" means.

Rather, a few loudmouths online got triggered because JK isn't kissing their backsides and are now creating a you-know-what storm. If anything, Lego would distance themselves from the controversy just to get away from it -- not that anything prejudicial was said.

By in Canada,

The 'Canadian Extention' ('/en-ca') still only list them as "coming soon"...wonder if we're penalized for TRUs 'cross Canada for putting some '20's out already...

By in United Kingdom,

Saw some new City, Duplo and Technic sets in the Milton Keynes store on Boxing Day. No new racers though, and the Safari Off-Roader is listed as a 1st January release. I got the Fire Helicopter but it's a bit of a disappointment. It takes one hell of a pull just to make it hop off the launcher. It's too heavy to fly very far at all.
