Today's featured Brickset member is Erika, aka Sheff711, who's an account manager for Kohler, in Washington (state, not the city!), USA:

What is your first LEGO memory?

Probably 8 years old or so and free-building with a mixed bin of Lego and Duplo. Only colors were white, black, red, blue, yellow and green! I have vivid memories of receiving 6380 Emergency Treatment Center for Christmas one year. It was the set that really started it all. I took it apart, used it to build MOC's, then re-built it over and over. I could probably build it from memory.

Did you have a dark age and if so what caused you to emerge from it?

Briefly after college for a few years (I missed the first three modular buildings). But I have never gotten rid of my childhood Lego!

Which set or theme has been most influential upon you, as a LEGO fan?

Creator has been the most influential theme for me (although certainly not my exclusive theme), it's inspired me to create modular building MOCs and to expand the Lego designs. It's a constant source of creativity and entertainment! As far as influential sets - see Emergency Treatment Center post above!

What are you building right now?

Getting ready to break into 75244 Tantive IV and just ordered some Dots sets!

How do you store your LEGO?

Most of it is built and displayed all over the house and in my "Lego room" but otherwise in ziplock bags and bins.

Do you build MOCs?

Yes, and I'd like to get better at it. I'm so impressed and inspired by those master builders out there! I like to build mostly parks, buildings, landscapes. Things to add to a city.

What is your favourite part?

This is tough! I'm going with what sparks the most joy and say the birthday cake from the CMF 18 series.

But favorite minifig has to be the N-pop girl from the CMF Ninjago Movie!

What set would you like LEGO to produce?

I'd love to see sets inspired by art masterpieces, suitable to hang on the wall! They could be textured and three-dimensional, I think that would be amazing.

Do you have a presence on Instagram, YouTube or elsewhere?

I'm on Insta, but not exclusively Lego posts, sheff_e_

Do you have any interests or hobbies other than LEGO?

I golf, hike, cook, cross stitch, craft, decorate, paint and take care of my two golden retrievers.

How long have you been visiting Brickset?

3 years. I signed up as a member immediately!

What's your favourite/most used feature of the site?

I love the set reviews!

Are you a member of a LUG?

I follow SeaLug on Social but have never attended a meeting. I'm really open to the Women's Brick Initiative since it's in my backyard!

Have you been to a LEGO event?

It pains me to say no, but I've always got a conflict!

I would quite like to do it but two things are holding me back. 1) I’m not keen on sharing a photo of myself 2) I haven’t seen any ‘meet the TFoL’ or anything of the like.

I can't remember getting my first lego. I always seem to have lego. The oldest set I own is older then me? So I must admit I am jealous of peope who can remember getting lego.

I'm in retail, and I've worked with Costco for the last 3 years. The prior 12 years I had the whole Utah market.
